Black Cat

Plot Summary/Synopsis:

He was a animal lover. Since he was young there house had many
animals. Animals were always his best friend. When he got married, His wife was
also an animal lover. His wife gift present to him are always animals. He has a large
black cat named Pluto. The cat was clever and beautiful and he loved him more than
the other animals. He and Pluto are the best of friends. Then a quite of time he
changed. He became a heavy drinker and it was his addiction. He was often angry
and violent. He began to shout and hit his wife and the animals felt his changes. He
became cruel to the other animals except to Pluto. But then because of his disease
Pluto is not safe from his violence. One night he arrived home, so drunk and Pluto
run away from him but he grabbed the neck of the cat and took a knife in his pocket.
He cut out one of Pluto's eyes from the socket. As months passed, He forgotten
what he did and Pluto got better. But then One day, he started to get a very to the
cat. He found a rope and hanged the poor cut from a tree and left it there to die. It
was the same night they had a fire in there house, he and his wife escape but
everything was in the house was destroyed. The next morning he went back into
there house and saw several people there. He and people found a strange thing.A
huge shape of a cat outlined in the white bedroom wall. He stood there frightened.
One night he was drinking in his favorite bar and when suddenly notice a huge black
cat. It was the same as Pluto but this car have a white mark on its front. He offered
the barman some money but then declined it, because he didn't own the cat.Then he
took the cat home and his wife immediately liked the cat. But soon, the cat started to
make him angry. The mark of the cat become clearer it was a shape of Gallows!, a
horrible wooden posts from which they hang men by a rope around the neck!. Day
and night he could not rest and he hated everything, everybody and life itself. One
day his wife needed to get something from the cellar underneath the house. The cat
followed them and threw itself in front of him. He almost fell on my face, and mad
with anger. He took a hold of an axe to kill the cat, but the wife caught his arm to stop
him. Then angry exploded to his mind. He get away from the grasp of his wife and
drove the axe deep into her head. She fell dead on the floor, without a sound. Then
he hid his wife in the wall of the cellar and after finishing putting back the bricks he
looked around to kill the cat but he didn't found it. He was so happy and felt freedom.
The fourth day, the police visited again to search an his house. They found no
evidence and traces of his wife.When they are about to leave, he called them and
explained how the house was built. Then he suddenly destroyed the bricks where he
hid his wife. At the moment they heard a cry, almost like a baby cry. The police men
started hastily pulling the bricks. The was down and there, they found the wife dead
body and on top of her head was the black cat.The animal who made him a
murderer murderer and which would now send him to death. He had walled the
monster up within the tomb...
 Psychoanalysis

The story tells the struggles of the man's persona in his life and involving
the his pet the Black Cat named Pluto. He was an animal lover but he's all attention
always in his favorite animal Pluto. He and his wife both an animal lover.

He was frightened and felt guilty, when he took out one eyes of the cat
socket. But after many days passed he forgotten what he did to his cat. He had a
frequent bad dreams when he killed his cat named Pluto. He was conscious of what
he did to his cat and wife. And his motive was, he can't control himself properly and
can't think of the right thing to do and did what his angry wants to do.

He just felt angry and hatred towards everybody and even himself. This
started when he was addicted to drink, and made him a heavy drinker. The pleasure
of killing someone made him happier and he felt free. Due to his happiness he
unconsciously told the police where he hid his wife dead body.

He begin to have an addiction and obsession in killing someone he started

to hate. His like having a dysfunctional mind what he felt and strongly want to do will
automatically function in his actions without thinking morally. His body moves what
his mind wanted to do.

The way he felt happier when he killed his wife, it shows that it's like he
wasn't happy anymore with his wife and that may be the reason he started to drink
alcohol. He felt freedom and contented when he drink that draw him to alcohol and
become a heavy drinker. It's like it makes him to forget about his problems and
confusion happening in his mind.

We make something we didn't exactly want to do but due to our brain

functions and the addiction to alcohol it changes your personality and your behavior.
This will cause a bad omen. We also have a theory that black cat give bad luck to us,
but as you can see it's just a belief and only us who did or done our bad luck
accidentally or intentionally.

David Swan

Plot Summary/Synopsis

David Swan at the age of twenty, his native place to the city of Boston. Where
his uncle, a dealer in the grocery. He received an ordinary school education and
finish a year at Gilmanton Academy. After journeying on foot from the sunrise, till
nearly noon of a summers day. The spring made him drowsily, the branches waved
dreamily across the blue sky overhead, and a deep sleep, fell upon David Swan. He
lay sound asleep in the shade. On a horseback with a brown carriage, the middled-
aged widow looked at David who was appealing in his sleep. Then there carriage
was still fix by the coachman and the servant. The old merchant the husband of the
wife talked to each other while looking to the sleeping young man. They talked about
the youth and compare it to, they didn't have a slumber like his than there
wakefulness. The elderly couple feel interested in the unknown youth. They planned
to wake up David but then, the servant called them and said the coach is ready. The
old couple reddened and hurried away and wondered of the dream thing they are
doing to do very ridiculously. Then a pretty young girl came along, when she turned
aside to the shelter of the maple trees, she found a young man asleep and she
blushed. She was about to scape, when she saw a bee appeared to be settling on
the eyelid of David Swan. As kindhearted and an innocent girl, she took out her
handkerchief and attacked the bee and drove it beneath the maple shade. She
blushed deeply and stole a glance at the youthful stranger. Then she departed, but
did not trip along the road so lightly as when she came. The girl was hardly out of
sight when two men turned beneath the the maple shade. These to was a couple of
rascals and planned to do there next villainy cards under the trees. They searched in
the pantaloons pocket. One asked what will they do if he wake up and then the other
one pointed a dirk towards David waistcoat. They approach the unconscious David,
They started to get the bundle, but at this moment a dog came beneath the
maple trees. The two took a drink in the fountain and saw the the dog and thought
that it was David's dog. The one with the dagger thrust back the weapon into his
bosom and didn't even hurt or wounded David, because they wrinkled and filled with
guilty and fear. The two laughed at their unaccomplished wickedness. As for David
Swan, he still slept quietly. Then after an hour, he stirred and found a sight of a driver
and got inside. He didn't look back to the beautiful place and the fountain of
dreamlike vicissitudes and go home to his place in Boston.
 Formalists

David Swan tells about the youth of us young people. He was walking on foot
when he found a perfect place to sleep.He sleep peacefully without waken up easily
and not knowing what happened that time when he was sleeping peacefully.

He wasn't aware of anything did happened that day he slept beneath the
maple trees and the wayside of the fountain. It's like power of guiding human
destiny. He was almost killed but because of guiltiness they didn't do it. And also
because we show care and kindness to others,the pretty young girl helped David not
get a sting to the bee.

And the elderly couple almost woke up David and felt like a parents that they
need to take care of the young man of is charmingly asleep.The story shows some of
the people characteristics.

To tell us that there are still people are good and bad but aware of there
wrong doings. It's also deflects the way we young people do things that we want to
do in our daily lives and what we think and what we want will eventually do it. We
are carefree even it's risky we still make it for our goals and we needed to finished.
