Sustainability and World Health

Foreword
- Reports about the world health are sent to the World Health Organization for analysis.
- Sustainability: is the ability of community to have its needs without affecting the next generations
(i.e.: current generation lives well & the next generations also).
- Many factors affect the world health such as: environment, lifestyle, hereditary and the economic
status:

Environment
The environmental state affects the human health. A polluted environment makes human health
worse. A clean environment makes human health better. Many diseases spread by many types of
pollution (i.e.: air & water pollution). An environment with clean food and water resources makes human
health better

Lifestyle
The human lifestyle directly affects the human health in many ways. Bad habits make human
health worse like eating junk food and not washing hands. Bad thoughts also makes human health worse
like Eating much makes you stronger.

Hereditary
Many diseases come from parents by genes. Most of them are severe diseases that eventually
lead to death. Also modern researches show that past generations were healthier than current
generations. They showed that the human health decreases in generation gradually.

Economic Status
Economic status affects human health in many ways. People who have good sanitation, hospitals
and medical services are healthier than less rich people who dont have good medical services and
available medicine to treat their diseases.

Diseases and Death worldwide

There are many causes of death in the world:

1- Injuries and Accidents

Many people die in the world because of car, plane... etc. accidents. Most of accidents are very
severe as they lead to death eventually.

2- Infectious Diseases
Many people die in the world because of infectious diseases that spread between people in
different countries by vectors (Germs, Bacteria, Parasites and Viruses). These diseases are cold,
flu, HIV etc. The main reason for infectious diseases is poor sanitation that exists in low income
countries while countries with good sanitation have less infectious diseases.
