Objective

current experience working in the humanitarian field. I also wish to further develop

Summary

I have worked for nearly seven years; at varying periods; as a project assistant field officer, site manager,
awareness consultant, and field coordinator, monitoring and evaluation tools. My jobs have included tasks
like carrying out assessments, data collection, project implementation, monitoring and evaluation staff using
different tool and surveys as needed. As well through my experience on ground I was to supervise the
delivering and the implementation of the project activities from qualitative and quantitative perspectives. I
believe the different careers I went through improved my different skills &awareness and added significantly
to my knowledge and insight.

Work experience / Job History

Site Manager / Solid Waste Management project, ACTED Jordan


SWM project; livelihood intervention; funded by UNICEF. | From May 2012 till Dec 2016.
Job role:
Supervision of Solid Waste Management and Cash for Work team (CfW) activities;
Under the line management of the SWM Manager, I am in charge of the operational organization, planning
and implementation of programme activities in my specific area of the camp as well as start monitoring and
evaluation process (the site) as follows:

Manages the CfW activities in the site under his/her responsibility:


Manages Site Supervisors in the site under my responsibility.
Reporting / communication / monitoring and evaluation tool procedures
I am the main ACTED focal point in his/her site as regards liaison with all external stakeholders
Communicates with the SWM Manager and relevant staff for any difficulty linked to my tasks, to
ACTED intervention or to security situation and proposes possible solutions.
Collecting necessary information, and conducting field visits to ensure proper monitoring of program
activities.
Conducting Focus groups, surveys, and other M&E Tools as needed.
Collaborates with the local authorities for water and waste management and other relevant issues;

Collaborates with UN agencies, NGOs and CBOs working in the site under his responsibility on a
regular basis to ensure a good communication and coordination, a qualitative intervention and non-
duplication of activities.
Participates in meetings at local level upon request of the SWM Manager
Applies ACTED security procedures and ensures these procedures are set-up and respected in the site
by all ACTED staff members.

Project field officer -program: cash for work | Premire Urgence - Aide Mdicale Internationale
Palestine, April 2011 till Oct 2011.
The project funded by ECHO was implemented in various Palestinian governorates such as Ramalla,
Nablus, Qalqilia and Tulkarim.
Duties:
- Field Assessment &Data collection, monitoring and evaluations tools & launch propper procedures.
- Participate in designing and evaluating questionnaire and other projects monitoring tasks.
- Prepare work plans along with the PM and respect the deadlines.
- Creation of village steering local committees.
- Participate in preparing and distributing of information campaign.
- Fill the pre selection questionnaire available for every BNF.
- Explain the pre selection questionnaire and analyze it with local committee.
- Share the team in the monitoring and evaluation of the project and final report.

Community Awareness Consultant | FAO- UN, JFFL project oPt | from March till June 2010.
The project funded by the Norwegian government aiming at supporting small scale school students, women
associations and youth clubs.
Duties:
- Attend the JFFLS Training of Trainers provided by FAO.
- Assist the national Deputy Project Manager in the final students selection process according to
the selection criteria.
- Deliver all the knowledge and skills to the targeted students based on the JFFLS principles and
approaches.
- Monitoring program activities and progress towards achieving the program output and provide
feedback.
- Collecting necessary information, and conducting field visits to ensure proper monitoring of
program activities.
- Conducting Focus groups, surveys, and other M&E Tools as needed.
- Share lessons learned and good practices with others.
- Maintain good relationships with other stakeholders in the process.
- Communicate with the national Deputy Project Manager about problems in the school - be alert
and alert others to potential problems.
- Ensure that meals are prepared and properly served to the participants
- Ensure that the learning field are well maintained and visible for demonstration purposes.

Food Security Project Assistant |Spanish, Action Against Hunger (ACF- Spain)- oPt | from Sept 2009
till Feb 2010.
The project was funded by ECHO aiming at emergency correspond to support marginalized and small scale
herders families in project target areas.

Duties:
- Participate in the design and implementation of food security rapid assessments and project
identification studies in cooperation with the food security Program Manager, Office Manager and
Water and Sanitation Coordinator.
- Participate in beneficiary selection and support training activities in coordination with the Water and
Sanitation Program Manager, Office Manager and Water and Sanitation Coordinator.
- Organize and supervise the starting up to the implementation of pre-identified activities in
coordination with local counterparts
-Define implementation modalities; community organization, identification and registration of
beneficiaries and material distribution.
- Participate in introductory meetings held with the community, village council members, local
committees and project personnel to discuss and agree on each partys roles and responsibilities in the
project.
- Participate in reporting to donors, handling monitoring and evaluation tools for staff and project
running activities, field visits to ensure proper project activities, surveys, APR tool follow up.

Project Officer | Rural Center for Sustainable Development. (RCSD) - oPt | from Sept 2008 till
July2009; in partnership with ACF- Spain.
Duties:
-Managing project policy, activities, designing work plans on weekly basis.
- follow up the beneficiaries status and data, held meetings and field coordination with contractors.
-Ensuring the project action plan is going well as planned.support beneficiaries satisfaction, coordinate for
workshops.
-Liaise &Contacting the CBOs and other partners to share data information and to follow up the work
progress.
-Prepare daily, weekly and monthly project reports to line manager & share reporting to donor.

Project Officer | Palestinian Hydrology Group (PHG)oPt, from June 2008 till Sept 2008.
Duties:

-Participate in and facilitate meetings with communities, local stakeholders, NGOs,


and local village councils and other ecountered CBO's.
-Participate in collecting information and data on targeted villages through using various
Research, monitoring and evaluation tools and procedures, field check visits, surveys.
-Participate in facilitating workshops with the communities.
-Participate in the production of the Program Design Document.
-Conduct visits to households to collect primary information needed for the situation
Analysis.
