Greetings

Friends and Family!

Im writing you from Juneau. This has been my
summer residence since June while I attend the
University of Alaska Southeast to get my Masters in
Teaching. The whole thing has been an adventure! Its
rained almost the whole time, but I have gotten to get
outside a few times to enjoy the beauty of Juneau while
taking a break from my studies. I hope your summer has
been full of adventure also! I cant wait to return and hear
about them all.
Right after I return from Juneau, I will be packing up to head out to Naknek,
Alaska. I am leading a mission team out there for the third year in a row! We will be
hosting a Vacation Bible School at Naknek Community Bible Church. One reason I
love this trip is that I get to return to the place where I grew up to serve them! We
will also be doing a teen night and some service projects in the community. There
will be 12 of us on the trip this year, and we are a great team! We will be in Naknek
from July 30th through August 6th.
I am writing to you to ask you to partner with me for this trip. My first
request is to partner in prayer. We want to cover this trip in prayer. There are three
areas to pray for. 1) Please pray for our team members and myself. Pray that we will
be able to serve with open and willing hearts. 2) Pray for the children we will be
serving; that their hearts will be open to Gods love. 3) Pray for the Naknek
community. Pray that we can connect with them and encourage them with the love
of Christ. Thank you for partnering with me in prayer. The trip will cost about $700
and I am working on raising these funds. If you would like
to partner with me financially, there are a few donation
options. You can write a check made out to the Crossing
with Naknek Missions-Nikki in the memo. You can also
donate online at crossingtonewlife.org under the give
tab. In the Designate Funds section, write your amount
in the 30-Village Missions and designate Naknek and
Nikki on the Additional Comments box. Please also
write not anonymous in that box, I will be able to send
you a thank you note (if you dont write not anonymous,
I wont be able to see who you are ). Online and check
donations are tax deductible.

I am super excited to return to Naknek, and I truly
appreciate your support! Thanks again, and I cant wait to share with you everything
that happens in Naknek!
