There are over 100 different types of HPV which can affect different parts of the body, including

the
hands and feet (a wart on the foot is called a verruca). Approximately 30 types of HPV can live in and
around the genital and anal areas but most genital warts are caused by just two types of virus (types 6
and 11).

Genital warts on males may appear on the following areas:

penis
scrotum
groin
thighs
inside or around the anus

Genital warts in females may appear on the following area:

inside of the vagina or anus

outside of the vagina or anus
cervix
Genital warts may also appear on the lips, mouth, tongue, or throat of a person
who has had oral sexual contact with an infected person.
