INTRODUCTION
1.1. BACKGROUND

The project named Cileunyi Sumedang Dawuan (Cisumdawu) Toll Road Project,
the location of the whole project is in 3 (three) districts, such as Bandung district, Sumedang
district and Majalengka district. The project started from Cileunyi to Dawuan (Majalengka).

Cisumdawu Toll Road Project itself have divided into 6 Sections, namely :
o Section I Sta.-2+245 9+750 (IC Cileunyi IC Ranca Kalong) (L=11,99 Km)
o Section II Sta.9+750 27+100 (IC Ranca Kalong IC Sumedang) (L=17,35 Km)
o Section III Sta.27+100 30+850 (IC Sumedang IC Cimalaka) (L=3,75 Km)
o Section IV Sta.30+850 38+050 (IC Cimalaka IC Legok) (L=7,2 Km)
o Section V Sta.38+050 53+950 (IC Legok IC Ujung Jaya) (L=15,9 Km)
o Section VI Sta.53+950 58+326.987 (IC Ujung Jaya IC Dawuan) (L=4,23 Km)

Cisumdawu Section II divided by 2 stage. Section II stage II, will be executed only for
10,7 Km from the total of 17,35 Km which is (Sta.12+000 Sta.13+.100 and Sta.17+200
Sta.26+800), with the following description :

1.2. PURPOSE AND BENEFITS

The purpose and benefits of "Construction of Toll Road Cileunyi - Sumedang - Dawuan
(Cisumdawu)" project are :
1. To integrate Bandung city and Cirebon with planning of international airport in Majalengka
and Port in Cirebon as inlet/ outlet of West Java Province.
2. To increase the economic growth in the area around the toll road.
3. To encourage the development of the eastern province of West Java that relatively less
developed than the West.
4. As an alternative way for Cadas Pangeran street
