Please accept the attached resume in application for MIDDLE EAST REGIONAL PROGRAM
COORDINATOR F/M AMMAN position with SECOURS ISLAMIQUE FRANCE (SIF).

I will bring to SIF over 30 years of experience in program design, implementation, coordination
and management in developing countries and conflict areas. I have been working with programs
funded by a variety of donors including USAID, UN, EU, DFID and Islamic Development
Bank. I will also bring the experience of leading and managing a wide range of projects in the
Middle East, Africa, Central Asia and USA. I will bring to SIF my ability to provide vision and
input to strategy development at global and country levels and my experience collaborating with
national counterparts, USAID missions and other international donors in the Middle East, Africa,
Asia and Eurasia. I have mentored, managed and provided technical, management and safety and
security input for several programs and donors particularly in the Middle East and Central Asia. I
have been able to build partnerships and networks in the Middle East, Central Asia and USA. I
have worked successfully with diverse staff/partners and I managed multi-disciplinary teams. I
have developed strategic vision and multiple country program strategies in many conflict areas.
While serving with USAID/Washington I was the focal person for the Middle East particularly
Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, West Bank/Gaza and Yemen. I have provided technical and management
assistance in addition to budgetary and security oversight to all those activities.

I have built partnerships, raised funds and managed programs with budgets ranging from $13
million to $65 million. I have managed and mentored a staff ranging from 15 to 400+ colleagues.
In all the programs, I have managed I provided all the technical, financial and security reports for
all the projects. I have kept open and clear channels of communications with the organizations I
was working for, with the host country counterpart and with the donors whom we are working
with.

I have been working in Jordan since 1995 on both short term and long-term assignments. I have
developed an extensive network of national and international organizations and individuals. I am
currently finishing an assignment in Jordan helping to start up a major USAID project and I will
be in Jordan till the end of August, 2017.

Throughout my career, I have been successful in commanding the respect of senior officials,
counterparts, colleagues and teammates. I believe that I am exceptionally skilled at working with
people and building good rapport and productive teamwork. I also believe that my excellent
communications, interpersonal skills and diplomatic ability to deal with colleagues and clients
from diverse backgrounds in addition to my experience and passion for working in the Middle
East and m vast network in Jordan will a great asset for SIF.
