A Reflection to Human Sexuality

In the story of creation, God created all things through love and He saw all of that

was very good. Everything that was created by God is a gift because it is came out of love, so

therefore we should not be confused that Human Sexuality, which most people got different

views, is one of these many gifts from God. One that can really support that notion Human

Sexuality is a gift from God is that we are created in His image and likeness and we know God

is perfect and good so therefore human sexuality is sharing also to that perfectness and goodness

of our creator. Sexuality is not something which we simply have or possess it is always part of

our existence thus God really is telling us that this part of being human, has a designated role. Its

role is to help us be united to others through. God reveals the truth that it is not good for human

beings to be alone. So this human sexuality is a way of answering Gods call for love. For

married couples, once this love has grown in time, they will engage to sexual love in order to

unite and to fulfill not only their physical desires but their emotional and spiritual desires.

Married couples by the gift of human sexuality help their partners fulfill the others need; like

manhood for the man and womanhood for the woman. We should not let this human sexuality be

stained by the different views of humans because it is a gift from God.

There is a problem now concerning this human sexuality. People dont think and

know that human sexuality is a gift from God that we should respect, and thus they are abusing

this gift in order for them to gain satisfaction or their desires. Now, we should be alarmed about

these different views of human sexuality because this can cause disorder to oneself, and the
society. We need to have an integrated view of this human sexuality in order to avoid confusions

and terrible actions. Abortions, rapes, teenage-sex, cybersex, and the use of contraception are

some examples of the result when human has no knowledge or has a different view of human

sexuality.

We need to be a healthy human because a healthy human will not seek sexual

expression for its own sake and they will never be satisfied by it, unless it is a part of loving. So

it means sex should not be prior to love because sex without love is a disordered love. It only

tells that you are just using sex as a mean for just satisfying your desires. Also, we should not let

our human dignity taken away from us by sinning. If we are going to let our desires be fulfilled

in any time and place, we become now the slaves of our desires and it only means that we lose

our human dignity which is our freedom. Thus our whole body which is a gift, turned into

garbage because its functions doesnt work in unity but controlled by its desires. To end, we

should remember that we are created in Gods image and likeness; we should avoid our actions

to fall into sin for we are good and loving as our Creator is thus we should use our freewill in a

good and a loving manner to answer Gods calling.
