LESSON PLAN

Time: from 10:20 to 12:00


Topic of the lesson: How often do you?
Main goal: By the end of the class, learners will be able to talk about free-time activities and
the frequency they are done.

Specific Objectives:
Ss will learn/review some vocabulary about free-time activities;
Ss will learn how to use frequency adverbs and ask questions about frequency of
activities (how often do you?);
Ss will watch a video to elicit pieces of language related to free-time activities;
Ss will practice the use of frequency adverbs, as well as the new vocabulary;
Ss will write their weekly schedules.

Materials: Board, markers, copies (Activity) & Memory Cards.

WARMER
To review the 3rd person in S.Present and occupations;
Purpose To turn Ss into English mode

T hands out the alphabet;


Hangman: occupations.
Tasks If Ss do not know how to play the game, T should explain the rules in
L1.
T gives a clue: This person works on stages, theater and TV.
Time allotment (Minutes) 10
PRESENTATION
To check Ss background knowledge and introduce free time activities
Purpose and frequency adverbs;
To pick language from a realistic use;
