The University
Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan is offering various Master & Ph.D.
Programmes. The University has a highly qualified faculty. University
campus is located on Bosan Road at approximately 9 K.M. from District
Courts. This University is known for its peaceful academic atmosphere, lush
green campus, its lined trees and beautiful buildings. The University has a
large fleet of buses which ply from morning till late in evening between
campus and the city.
Institute of Management Sciences
The Department of Business Administration was established in 1978 and
attained, the status of Institute since 20.07.2001. More than 1000 graduates
have passed out from the Institute who are serving at senior positions in
various National and Multi-national organizations within the country and
abroad. The Institute has experienced and qualified faculty alongwith having
a well equipped Computer Lab. and a rich library. Due to increase in
demand of business education in the country and to facilitate the
working people near to city, the university has decided to establish
IMS-City campus near Chungi No 9, Bosan Road Multan from next
year i.e 2008 and all these programs will be offered in that campus.

MBA Program (Morning)

This full time morning MBA program offers broad based knowledge in a
number of business areas and prepares the students for versatile
management career. It requires two years or four semesters specializing in
marketing, finance, human resource management etc.
BBA(Hons) Program (Morning)
BBA (Hons) 4-years program consisting of 8 semesters offers diversity of
subjects in different business related areas to develop requisite skills
necessary to acquire before taking up higher level courses to be offered in
MBA. Students on completion of BBA(Hons) program will be promoted to MBA
program.
MBA(Executive) Program (Evening)
The MBA(Executive) Programme is introduced for the benefit of working
people, but the fresh graduates can also apply. It offers more flexibility and
practical orientation to students. Though basically it is a two years
programme but a student can complete it in a maximum period of 4 years if
he wishes to take less number of courses, in a semester.
Diploma Programs (Evening)
The university has started above mentioned PGD program 2 years before
with the main aim of improving skills of the peoples according to the
changing environment, technology and challenging business as well as
health requirement of this region under proper management systems. A
large number of applications have been received in the previous years and
many peoples have benefited with this education. Qualified, experienced and
competent faculty is available to teach courses in these diplomas.

Certificate Courses (Evening)

Certificate courses in different subjects are also offered as part of
MBA(Executive) programme. Students can apply for a single course
registration.
The Admission Procedure
Admission will be made on the basis of score obtained in NAT-1 test for
BBA(Hons), NAT-2 test for MBA and MBA(Executive), as well as marks
obtained in their respective academic degrees. Students who have already
taken NTS test can apply on the basis of their previous NTS score. However
new tests are being conducted by NTS on 16-12-2007 and last date for
sending applications direct to NTS Islamabad for these tests is 24-11-2007.
The application form for NTS test can be down loaded from NTS web site
www.nts.org.pk. Credit is given to work experience for admission in
MBA(Executive). For diplomas and certificate courses, the institute will
conduct its own test in the university campus on 30. 12. 2007(Sunday).
Last Date for Submission of Applications
Last date for submission of applications for admissions alognwith NTS score
in IMS-university campus is 28.12..2007 (Friday). Prospectus and
