Synopsis : This course introduces students to introductory and advanced level of wireless
communication. In the beginning students will be introduced to the concept of
wireless communication systems. Then the cellular concepts which include
frequency reuse and cell splitting. This topic will be extended to the interference
issues, system capacity, trunking and grade of service. The topic of mobile
propagation will include large scale and small scale mobile propagation follows
by different multiple access techniques used in wireless communication systems.
Finally different wireless systems and standards will also be covered.
