in Telugu under the title Dear.

Yuvan Yuvathi is an Indian Tamil romantic film, written and directed by G.N. R. Kusmaravelan.
This is a story of a software engineer in Chennai Kathirvel Murugan ( Bharath). Kathirvel has a
friend named Sakkarai (Santhanam) who happened to his roommate. Kathirvel is famous in
Usilampatti but he wants to be called City-bred. It is his dream to live in USA. Sevaka Pandian
(Sampath Raj) an influential local chieftain is the father of Kathir, who is against inter caste love
and marriage. He also infavor of the Kathirs plans. In a while, Kathir meets Nisha (rima Kallingal)
who has the same ambition with him to go abroad and settle there. However, Nishi loses her
passport but Kathir came to offer his help to look for it. Shortly, Kathir fall in love with Nisha.
Meanwhile, Kathirs father arranged a wedding for Kathir and Thangameena (Anuja Iyer) the
daughter of a High Court Judge. After it came to his knowledge Kathir and Nisha decided to go to
US to avoid the marriage and he proposed marriage to Nisha but she declined. Sevada was
angry when he knows about their relationship, because of his anger he kidnap Nisha, but Kathir
rescue her from his father. After a while they meet again. Kathir then exert more effort to win
back the trust of Nisha and to gain her love in return. Sevada later on learn to accept their
relationship and allow them to marry.
