E) CONCLUSION:
The design of our proposed three-storey apartment has a high IBS score of 98%, which is a
reflection of an effective project as the apartment fully optimizes its IBS design features:
1. Fully utilizes the usage of Off-site Produced Pre-Fabricated and Pre-Cast Components of
standardised coordinated dimensions as preferred in MS 1064, which helps to reduce
on-site labour, lower site material wastage and create a safer and more efficient
construction site.
2. Furthermore, the apartment are also designed using modular-coordination concept in
which the all possible components layout are of 100% repeatability, which results in
faster project completion and lower total construction costs.
