Experiment: No: 1 AMPLITUDE SHIFT KEYING

AIM:

To generate the ASK signal and also design a circuit to demodulate the obtained ASK signal. Plot
the relevant waveforms.

APPARATUS REQUIRED:

SL100, 47k, 1k, BY127, 1F, IC741, 10k potentiometer

CIRCUIT DIAGRAM:
PROCEDURE:

1. Apply the input voltage m (t) as 500Hz. Apply carrier square pulse as 1 kHz.

2. Observe the waveforms for ASK

3. Use the demodulation circuit to obtain m (t) back.

RESULT:

Experiment No: 2 FREQUENCY SHIFT KEYING

AIM:

To generate the FSK signal and also design circuits to demodulate the obtained FSK signal. Plot
the relevant waveforms.

APPARATUS REQUIRED:

LF398, IC741, 47k, 10k, 10k potentiometer.

CIRCUIT DIAGRAM:
PROCEDURE:

1. Connect the circuit as shown in the figure.

2. Apply the input voltage c1 (t) at 50 kHz and c2 (t) at 100 kHz. Apply Binary data at 1 kHz.

3. Observe the waveforms for FSK.

4. Use the demodulation circuit to obtain Binary data back.

RESULT:
Experiment No: 3 BINARY PHASE SHIFT KEYING

AIM:

To generate the BPSK signal and also design circuits to demodulate the obtained BPSK signal.
Plot the relevant waveforms.

APPARATUS REQUIRED:

LF398, IC741, Center-tap Transformer, 47k, 10k, 10k potentiometer.

1. Connect the circuit as shown in the figure.

2. Apply the input voltage c(t) at 20kHz. Apply Binary data at 1kHz.
3. Observe the waveforms for BPSK.

4. Use the demodulation circuit to obtain Binary data back.

AIM:

To generate the PPM signal and also design circuits to demodulate the obtained PPM signal. Plot
the relevant waveforms.

IC 555, IC 741, SL100, Resistors and Capacitors.

Experiment No: 5 AMPLITUDE MODULATION

AIM:

To generate amplitude modulation waveform using transistor mixer circuit. To find the

percentage of modulation of generated AM wave. And also to construct the demodulation circuit. Plot the

input and output waveforms.

BC108, Diode 0A79, Resistors, Capacitors, AFO and CRO
