INTRODUCTION

Conceptis Legalesce (Legal Concepts) is a companion book

of the R.E.M.V.S. It is well suggested that you use this book
together with the work book entitled Writing Your Destiny Through
R.E.M.V.S. by the same author. This book provides some of the
basic and more important concepts of Philippine law to which the
student, barrister, or any person interested in acquiring access to
legal knowledge can use as reference. The concepts are written in
the manner R.E.M.V.S. recommends. The presentation of subjects
are distinct as it focuses not only on the concepts but also a
compilation of actual questions and suggested answers to them as
given by legal luminaries. It would be best to use these concepts
and write them in your separate notebook to be used as a
reviewer for the Bar Examinations, as done by the author when he
was still a student and a barrister.

Ritual Enhancement and Visualization System (R.E.M.V.S.) is

a method designed by the author to enhance the handwriting
ability of the student, barrister, or lawyer and improve concept
comprehension and recall. The method was developed due to the
time constraints to which the author as a student and a barrister
needed to maximize. Imagine having to attend two to three
classes per day with only three hours of study time. Imagine
reviewing for the Bar Examinations only for two months. Imagine
all of this while working in shifts, then pass the Bar Examinations.
Difficult? Yes, but attainable. The system would ultimately develop
writing stamina as well as concept visualization through triple
comprehension and memory retention. With continued prayers
and industry, the Bar Examinations can be surpassed and passed.

How to Use the Contents

This book contains not only legal concepts and its explanation, either in
law or jurisprudence, but also actual bar examination questions related to
such topics.

Aside from the usual reading of the contents of any book in particular, it
is suggested that the contents, particularly the suggested answers of the Bar
Examination Samples be re-written in a separate notebook for practice of
the R.E.M.V.S. (Ritual Enhancement and Mental Visualization System). The
continued practice of writing and re-writing would ultimately redound to
penmanship development and improvement, a skill sine qua non to passing
the Bar Examinations. As suggested, the writing style should be cursive.

For barristers, other materials deemed important by the user is very

much welcome and may even add to the stock knowledge of the individual
come the Bar Examinations. For students, this reviewer can provide for the
basic information to have a working knowledge to confront the daily rigors of
law school. For fellow lawyers, this could provide for quick references as for
various cases and applications. The suggested answers mostly came from
Answers to Bar Examinations by the U.P. Law Complex and the Suggested
Answers Series of the Philippine Association of Law Schools, to which I
extend my deepest appreciation, continued learning and development and
for use since my student days and my journey to reach the apex of mountain
called Bar Exams to be entitled to the prvilege to be A-T-T-Y-. I would
also like to thank the Lex Review School for the solid foundation of legal
principles and the Jurist Review School for its relentless coaching support
for barristers.

" . . . The majority of those who failed in the subject have also manifestly shown their
poor command of the English language, such that certain examinees may probably
know the law but they lack the ability to express themselves. The result is that, one will
find it very difficult to understand what they really wanted to convey in their answer to
the question propounded . . . " - Madam Justice Ameurfina Melencio-Hererra,
Chairperson, 1980 Committee on Bar Examinations
