IGATE’S ENTIRE INTERVIEW PROCESS ON JUNE 2007.

Hi friends,
I am RAMEEJA from ECE DEPARTMENT The interview pattern has changed from the 15
mathematical questions with no multiple choice to 50 questions.
NEW PATTERN(with multiple choice)
Time:50 minutes
Aptitude qns:30
English Proficiency:20
first finish the English proficiency qns within 15 minutes and then goto aptitude qns
English proficiency part:
In the English proficiency part ,they ask qns related to blood relations
,arranging set of passages in order,antonyms,synonyms,given a passage they give series of qns to answerand
they test on giving qns related to articles,preposition,.... and general English knowledge is enough to pass this
part.
Aptitude Part:
Refer R.S.AGARWAL book alone.
Every qns are from that only.

If u refer to these topics alone u can easily get through this test.
The result will be announced within one hour.and ALHUMTHULILLAH MY NAME WAS READ SECOND
IN THE LIST.
They ask to fill an application form .please furnish the true information alone.
There are three technical rounds and one HR round.
I technical round:
They test your subject knowledge.Since I am from ECE dep. they asked qns like
1. How two computers communicate with each other
2. some current innovations related to software industry.
3. asked to draw the archietecture of 8085
4. implementating OR and XOR gate using NAND gate
5. computer parts
6. DVD ROM
 7. asked to explain about the paper presented
8. project

I was called for the next round within 5 minutes.

II technical round:
They asked me only two qns
1. The interviewer asked me to explain an expression which he wrote on the paper on macros. I answered
partially
2. in the second qn,he asked me to draw the flowchart on seris sum ie given a number 3,the program must
give the output as 1+2+3=6 as the answer .I did that and the interviewer ,then went outside and I was
sitting alone for 15 minutes . then he came and said me to wait for the next round.it was done to test the
patients of me.

III technical round:

In the third round asked me about the working conditions etc it was a general round.
then comes the HR round
AT LAST AT 10.20PM THEY ANNONCED THE RESULTS AND I WAS ONE AMONG 10 OF MY
FRIENDS.At this time I thank THE ALMIGHTY for giving a place in IGATE.
