Rationale: Kids A-Z is an app affiliated with Raz Kids reading program. The Kids A-Z app is a
vehicle from which interactive content from the Raz Kids program is delivered (as well as other
affiliated websites should you so choose). Students using this app will be able to access eBooks,
eQuizzes and other eResources that are developmentally appropriate and geared to further their
learning. The assessment tools within this app include evaluation of comprehension and tools
that support close reading skills.

Rationale: This app provides a means to promote literacy, comprehension, creative thinking and
self-driven learning. With this app, students are able to create their own eBook by developing
their own story line and by adding pictures/drawings. Students are even able to record their
voices telling their story over the eBook. This app is user friendly and provides opportunity to
share on social media sites for 3rd party viewing.

Rationale: This app acts as a study tool or reinforcement when learning a new language. The
app will work with the student to create an achievable schedule and goal for practicing/learning a
new language. Daily reminders are sent and content (verbs, pronouns, nouns, etc.) are reviewed
during each session based on the students ability to recall the information covered in the previous
lesson. The app performs a series of assessments that are indicative of the students current ability
and strength with the language. From there, the app will help the student progress through the
lessons at a pace that is individualized to them.

unable to recognize. This app allows students to act in the role of a detective in order to solve
how the problem should be dealt with. It enhances a students ability to be a social thinker. It
guides students to make smart social guesses and investigates how others emotions and
responses are connected to behaviors.

Rationale: This app provides an interactive experience in the form of a math adventure.
Students are presented with games, tasks and adventures that are rooted in providing the learning
opportunities needed to advance when practicing early math skills. Todo Math helps to build
student confidence in early math concept areas including counting and cardinality, number
operations, mathematical reasoning, time and money and geometry.

Rationale: This app can be used as a research tool and allows students to take ownership of their
learning. Students are able to use this app to do their own research. The app provides reviewed
articles and has the option to assess students on article content. The interactive way in which
students direct their learning allows for engagement and student lead learning.

Rationale: This app provides opportunity for large group participation. Students are able to
actively participate and engage in this app. It offers instructional physical movement and
mindfulness videos. This app can be used as a brain break, to keep student engagement and
interest levels up. The app is full of high energy songs that promote active lifestyles, step-by-step
dance routines and yoga videos that promote mindfulness. Students are able to create profiles
and continue to work toward goals at home with their families.

Rationale: This app allows educators to do large group or small group assessment on a specific
content area. Each student that is logged on to the app will receive the same questions, created by
the educator. Not only does the app keep record of individual students correct and incorrect
answers, it also keeps a log of the time taken to respond to each question.
