vertices. This would be a great activity for students to do independently

to mark the faces, edges, and vertices of any shape of their choice. This activity will reinforce
how to recognize, identify and compare two and three dimensional shapes and develop
vocabulary to describe the attributes.

This lesson should be taught after the students show understanding of the activity, and can
explain their shape to other classmates.
