    Ahmads Growing Up (July 2017)

    Dear Ahmad,
    I still remember the day that you were born. And I still remember the days when Sana
    wanted to play with you but you were too small to play. As you grew, your bond with Sana
    grew too and you have shared a lot of fun times with her. Now you are both big and Sana is
    off to school. Everyone has been excited for Sana to start school. This can be a sad time for
    you as you learn to play without her. We hope we can help you through this time inshaAllah.
    MashaAllah you have grown into a very caring young person Ahmad. It is now your time to
    shine and your chance to contribute to your learning journey. Over time, with guidance and
    encouragement from your Kaiako, you will become increasingly capable of learning
    independently. You will recognise and appreciate your own ability to learn, while also
    playing with your friends.

    If children feel safe, they can take risks, ask questions, makes mistakes, learn to trust, share
