Procedures, and Expectations

Logic
Each nine weeks grade will be calculated according to

Classwork is expected to be turned in on the day it is

assigned. If you do not finish it in class you can take it
home to finish it. Classwork assignments can be
resubmitted ONE TIME to improve your score.

Classwork is to be done NEATLY and in PENCIL unless

other directions are given.
Agendas
Agendas are required and should be accessible
at all times.
Agendas will be used on a daily basis to record
important information such as homework
assignments, tests, projects, upcoming events,
holidays, etc.
Agendas should be well maintained avoid
folding, ripping, or mutilating your agenda.
Passes
Students are expected to be in the classroom before the
bell rings. Personal business should be handled during
transitions. Passes are given at the discretion of the
teacher. All passes are void unless you have your own
agenda.
Restroom Policy
Restrooms are to be used before school starts or during
transitions. There is no reason for a student to not use
the restroom during their own time. Students with
documented medical conditions which require access to
the restroom will be granted appropriate opportunities;
however, the student must have a note on file with the
school nurse. Emergencies will be handled on an
individual basis but will be at teacher discretion. Leaving
during class time is a privilege that can be revoked.
Absentee Policy
An absent student is responsible for completing any
missed notes. Students may copy notes from their
classmates or use the student class binder to ensure
their notes are complete. We are uploading video
recordings for all instructional days as well as additional
links for other instructional videos for the same topic.
These video links will not only provide students with
missed instruction, but will also be available later if the
students would like to review a concept. All missed work
will be placed in the students folder.
Expectations
One of our number one priorities in the classroom is
to foster an environment built on RESPECT and
RESPONSIBILITY.
Students are expected to show respect for
themselves and others at all times
Students are also expected to respect the
school building and materials.
Students are expected to be responsible for
their actions.
Students are responsible for actively
participating in the education process.
Students should come to class everyday
ready to learn and participate in any and all
classroom activities.
Great Ideas for Classroom Success:
Use highlighters, colored pencils or pens
Take complete notes during class
Good and consistent study habits and
homework habitsevery day
Review what is studied in class at the end of
each day (explain what you learned to
someone)
Ask for help right away, do not wait (quick one-
on-one time with teacher or classmate)
You are responsible for your own learning, your earned
grades, your attitude, and your work ethic. Own it!
