Activity Discuss, Brainstorm and Share

on a topic of their interest. Then, they will

members and brainstorm ideas in a mind
map. Once done, students share their
mind map with the class.

Activity Quiz jengga
Date February 2017
Description of activity Students are instructed to form a group of four.
Each group is given a Jengga tower, score
sheet and questions (folded piece of papers,
placed in a box)
Each student will take turn to remove the
Jengga block and stack it on the very top of
the tower. Once done, they will pick a piece of
paper containing questions related to the
literary text they have studies. Then, the
student will write down the answer in the
provided score sheet. The game ends as soon
as the Jengga tower collapses. At the end of
the lesson, teacher will check on the answer
and student with the highest score wins.

Activity Book Club
Description of activity Students are given the freedom to choose a
book that they find interesting. They are given
a month to complete their reading. In the
process of reading the book of their choice,
students are encouraged to keep a reading
journal, which includes their favorite quotes,
thoughts on the book and many more. At the
end of their reading, they are encouraged to
share the synopsis and what are the things
they have learned from the book read.
