Dear Prospective Client

I am very happy to present to you our comprehensive product line of low-temperature

instruments. These tools are developed for a large variety of applications, e.g. mining
operations, groundwater surveys, and scientific research, but also geothermal
investigations, cavern logging and deep-marine geotechnical surveys.

Over the last 20 years ANTARES has grown from a single small office in Germany to an
international company with offices in Houston and Cairo serving customers in over
30 countries. Close collaboration with our customers has been key to design our product
lines. As a result, we developed low-maintenance and reliable equipment for low-
temperature operations:

- ANTARES standalone instruments comprise several single sensor instruments, but

also some comprehensive All-In-One-Go Instruments, which combine several sensors.
- ANTARES combinable low-temperature instrument product line enables a high degree
of flexibility. Several instruments can run together in one string reducing the rig time
considerably.
- For slim and rough holes, ANTARES designed a combinable string of nuclear
instruments, which allows the measurement of GR, neutron and density logs in just one
run. The outer diameter of the string is only 43 mm and therefore, especially interesting
for coal mining logging.
- Furthermore, several instruments for cavern logging are available.

Our customers see ANTARES as a partner not only for leading edge technology but also for
training, maintenance and Research & Development. They appreciate the individual and
comprehensive support provided by ANTARES and the reliability of the tools and surface
system.

Together with my team, I hope we will become partners in the future. Discover the 'German
Engineering' difference!

Slim Dual Detector Neutron

The ANTARES 1472 Slim Dual Detector Neutron instrument works with a chemical source and two
neutron detectors made of Lithium-Glass. The source emits neutrons which are slowed down and
then captured, primarily by hydrogen atoms in the formation fluids. The detectors count the neutrons
deflected back to the tool. The ratio of the short space over the long space count rate is an indicator for
porosity, using the fact that the tool responds primary to the hydrogen content of the formation. The
tool is run standalone or in combination with GR Adapter 1495.

Dual Detector Neutron

The ANTARES 1497 Dual Detector Neutron tool is designed to deliver porosity measurements in slim
fluid-filled boreholes, both open and cased. The instrument works with a chemical source and two
neutron detectors. The source emits neutrons, which are slowed down and then captured, primarily by
hydrogen atoms in the formation fluids. The detectors count the neutrons deflected back to the tool.
The ratio of the short space over the long space count rate is a porosity indicator, using the fact that the
tool basically responds to the hydrogen content of the formation.

Combinable Low-Temperature Instruments
ANTARES offers a combinable string of nuclear instruments, which allows the measurement of GR,
neutron and density logs in just one run. The outer diameter of the string is only 43 mm and therefore,
it enables for measurements in very slim boreholes or casings. These tools can be run as standalone
or in combination.

The product line of ANTARES Telemetry low-temperature instruments comprises a set of tools, which
are run below a telemetry with Gamma Ray. These comprehensive low-temperature instruments
enable a high degree of flexibility. Several instruments can be combined in one string, reducing rig
time where every minute matters. These tools are designed according to oilfield standards and
measurements are accurate against the industry standards.

These tools have been field tested in offshore environments and proved their reliability and easy
handling ability. The pressure rating is up to 50 MPa (7,250 psi).

Dual Detector Neutron

The ANTARES 29N8 Slim Dual Detector Neutron instrument works with a chemical source and two
neutron detectors made of Lithium-Glass.
The
tool is run standalone or in combination with GR Adapter 1495 (above) and Sidewalll Density

The ANTARES 1489 Spectrum Gamma Ray (SGR) is an instrument logging the natural gamma
radiation. The tool measures the entire gamma ray spectrum from 0 to 3000 keV. It records the total
amount of Gamma Rays and provides quantitative measurements of the 40Potassium, 232Thorium and
238

Dual Detector Neutron

The ANTARES 1494 Dual DetectorNeutron instrument works with an Americium Beryllium source
and two detectors. The source emits high energy neutrons, which undergo scattering in the forma-
tion, lose energy and produce gamma rays. The thermal neutrons are measured by the two detectors
in the tool. The tool can be run in both open and cased holes and in most types of mud. In order to
minimize the borehole effects, the tool is run decentralized.

Sidewall Density
The ANTARES 1491 Sidewall Density instrument includes a Cesium source and two detectors. From
the energy spectrum and count rates of the two counters, the borehole compensated formation bulk
density is calculated. A caliper measurement is provided, permitting compensation for borehole
effects. The tool can be run in any mud except in barite mud, which absorbs the Gamma Rays and
therefore affects the density reading heavily. A Correction Curve indicates the influence of the
borehole rugosity.

Cavern and Low-Temperature Cased-Hole Logging

ANTARES designed a set of instruments for cavern and low-

temperature cased hole logging. The applications comprise
detection of the shape of the cavern, interface measure-

and the orientation of boreholes.

In dual string casings, CCLs of both casings can be

detected in addition to the deviation and fluid tempera-
ture by the ANTARES 1509 instrument.

Directional Sonar Caliper

The ANTARES Directional Sonar Caliper (DSC) is a digital ultrasonic measurement system for cavern
survey. The data collected by the system allow for georeferenciated interpretation and to record the

ceiling of the cavern can be accurately detected. The integrated Dual String Collar Locator (DSCL)
allows to survey through two casing strings up to 13 3/8 diameter.

The ANTARES Log Acquisition and Data Interpretation System (ALADIN) is very user friendly. It
comprises a modular 'plug-and-play' panel system and a modular software called GEOBASE. ALADIN
is exceptionally versatile and provides the user with a true multi-tasking logging environment.

SURFACE PANELS

The 'standard' panel system consistsof an

- Interface Panel with a
- Power Supply

Depending on the power requirements of the

tools, the power supply is either integrated in
the Interface Panel or it is a separate panel.

Optional peripheral equipment can simply be

added as 'plug-and-play' modules, e.g.
- Perforating Panel,
- Well Head Potential Monitor,
- Safety Switch and
- Winchman Panel with depth, tension and
speed information

A PC connected to the Interface Panel

completes the system, where the data can be
graphically displayed on screens and printers in
'real time'.

GEOBASE SOFTWARE

The software package GEOBASE

can be used on any computer with
a 32-bit or a 64-bit Windows ope-
rating system such as Microsoft
Windows 7, 8 or 10.

GeoBase Software Features:

- User friendly and simple
- Software set-up guides the
logging engineer
- Just 7 clicks and the data
recording can start
- Plug and play system
- Real time display of the data
