The Bank was nationalized on April 15, 1980 the Second phase of Bank nationalization. Tt is @ Government of India undertaking vith 74.06% of the share capital held by the Government of India and 25.94% held by the public, corporate, financial institutions and employees. The Bank has a total business of 1218 lakh Crore as on 31.12.2015 comprising of about 111.25 lakh Crore of Deposits and 110.90 lakh Crore of Advances. (Detalls are available on our website - www.vijayabank.com), ‘The Bank Is having a three tler organizational structure comprising of 1797 branches and 50 extension counters and 31 Regional Offices (*RO"). The Head Office (HO) of the Bank Is located at Bargalore, ‘The Bank has a pan India presence with Its branches spread over all the states and 4 Union territories. The Benk has 1584 ATM's and Is completely working an Core Banking platform using Firacle (Infosys Ltd.) as the Core Banking Solution. ‘The Bank Is the Lead Bank for Mandya, Dharwad and Haver! Districts in Karnataka The International banking business is handled through 47 designated branches for dealing in foreign exchange. BANKS VISION & MISSION The mission of the Bank is to emerge as a prime nationalized Bank backed by modern technology, mecting customers’ aspirations with professional banking services and sustained growth contributing to national development. 2. Organization Structure ‘The organizational structure of the Bank consists of three tlers viz., HO, RO'S and Branches. HO, consisting of various functional departments’ deals with mainly policy formulation, setting of targets and monitoring of performance. The Bank has set up 31 Regional Offices to exercise immediate supervision and control over the branches Under their jurisdiction, in addition to the branches, there are 12 Service Branches, which handle the work relating to collection of instruments drawn on branches in these centers and clearing functions. For better cash management the Bank has set up 27 Currency Chests. As the extended wings of Central Inspection Department at Head Office, the Bank has also set up 9 Regional Inspectorates. For speedy processing of Retall Loan the Bank has set-up 19 Retail Asset Centralized Processing Cells across India, 3. Computerisation and Technology Initiatives Vijaya Bank is @ forward leoking and progressive bank and frontrunner in providing upto date technology products and services, and has taken steps to innovate the channel evolution in banking. ‘The Bank Is fully functional on the CBS platform and has also implemented a suite of applications, integrated with the CBS solution. The bank has deployed state of the art technologies and industry's best IT practices and implemented comprehensive IT security policies and procedures to meet customer's aspirations. Purpose of the Request for Proposal 4.4 As part of the process of revamping the technology environment and standardising the architecture at all levels, we have initiated the exercise of selecting vendors, who can provide reliasle and cost effective sources of supply of hardware under the following category, 1. Computer Hardware, Printers & Peripherals 2: Servers & Storage 3. Network Devices to meet the ongoing requirements of the Bank. The proposed empanelment is for a minimum period of one year, extendable for another year at Banks’ discretion 4.2. The information received In response to the RFP will be used in a preliminary exercise to empanel the qualifying vendors after a detailed evaluation process, 5. Eligibility criteria: 2) The Vendors with an annual turnover of at least Rs.100.00 Crore in each of the last two financial years, of which at least Rs.25 Crore should be from sale of following category of equipments, for which vendor is willing to get categorized, 1, Computer Hardware, Printers & Peripherals 2. Servers & Storage 3, Network Devices b ‘The vendor should have executed an order worth Rs.80,00 lakhs and above (Single Order) for supply and installation of below category of hardware to scheduled ‘commercial banks/financial institution during last financial year. Please make a note that_vendors. should suomit the proof only for the below mentioned particular line Item, under which vendor is wiling to get categorized. hich v 1. Network Devices ©) The vendor should have made a profit in each of the last two financial years and has 2a positive net worth as per auelted balance sheet and P&L. account. Net worth will be ‘computed by adding Paid up Capital and free Reserves and deducting Intangible assets 4) The vendor should have support services available in 20 State Capitals including ‘minimum one Centre in north eastern state ) Support Services through own branches/offices will be preferred. The vendors ‘working through franchisees should ensure the performance of franchisees / Channel Partners through specific under Lin hr the contract f) Adequate faciity should be available for pre-dlspatch Inspection (POI) of the hardware at OEM/vendor's location, The facity/ infrastructure should have capacity to house at least 300 Desktops and equipments at a time for inspection. “Tender no. Computer Hardware, Printers & Peripherals locations in single contract) (should be minimum at 200 2. Servers & Storage ~ (Should have served minimum Purchase order of Rs. 80 Lakhs) 3. Network Devices - (should be minimum at 200 locations in single contract) h) If Vendor is willing to get empanelied under above sald all the categories, then all the required details mertioned for each category should be submitted by the vendor, 1) The bidder should be a registered corporate in India registered under the Companies ‘Act, 1956 or A company/statutory body owned by Central/State Government. The necessary certificates, ‘or example, Certificate of Incorporation In case of a Limited company, Registration Certificate should be submitted with the offer. 4J) The Bidder should be in existence in India for minimum of Five years as on 31.03.2016. 4) The bidder shall submit a letter of undertaking that they are not under blacklist of the Central/ any of the State Governments/BFSI in India or any Financial Institution in India 1) Vendor should submit Proc ~ 2C (Integrity Pact) in stamp paper for value Rs. 300/- 6. Guideline to fill the details Please provide specific and detalled information with regard to the availabilty of functionality for each of the broad requirements in the enclosed proforma (Proc- 20). The response to the requirement should necessarily be with reference to the Taclties readily available with the vendor. If the functionality forms part of the Tuture roadmap or under design/development, please comment separately. 7. Bank will nat deal with any third party vendor or agency and it should be the responsiblity of the principal veridor to ensure the proper functioning of the Items supplied through RFP and professed by the vendor during the warranty /AMC period. Also If any information provided in the response to RFP is found to be Incorrect or ‘misrepresented, at any stage of the evaluation process, the Bank reserves the right to summarily disqualify the vendor from the evaluation process. 7.4 A demand draft for #25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five thousand only) payable at Bangalore favoring "Vijaya Bank A/c Empanelment- Computer Hardware Tender’ is to be enclosed to the tender documents towards the cost of bid documents. This amount Is non-refundable. The proposals along with supporting necessary ‘documents should be submitted in sealed covers. Other Terms and conditions: 8.1 All queries relating to this RFP, tochnical or otherwise, must be in writing/mail only ‘and to the nominated point of contact. 8.2 Vendor should submit all the relevant supporting document related to eligibility terms, 8.3 Vendors should provide their E-mail address (es) without fall, since communications by bank with the vendors will be through © mall. 18.4 The bank reserves its exclusive rights, to share the Information / clarifications provided in response te RFP by any vendor, to any other vendor(s). 8.5 Any form of canvassing! lobbying/ influencing the bank willbe a disqualification 18.6 The Bank reserves the right to disqualify any of the empanelled vendors, if they fail to participate in three consecutive tenders and/or fails to execute the orders placed “Tender no, DIT/26/2015-16 Dated: 03.03.16 for empanelment of H/W vendors Page 6 of 7, VIDAYA BANK Dept: Information Technology 8.7 The Bank reserves the right to disqualify any of the vendors now submitted the RFP, Ir the past experience with the Bank is not satisfactory. 9. Evaluation Criteria ‘The evaluation criteria (in the equal order of importance) that will be adopted by the Bank to empanel the vendors complying with RFP will include, without limitation, the following 9.4 Content and Quality of Vendor's Response to RFP 9.2 Company background and financial soundness 9.3 Abily to deliver requred products and services promptly 9.4 Ability to maintain the product and manage the services 9.5 Vendor's demonstrated track record in overall customer satisfaction supported by testimonia. 9.6 In addition, any other relevant criteria at the sole discretion and determination of the Bank, that are deemed fit, just not limiting to those criteria spelt out in this REP, may be used. The vendors responding to RFP should acknowledge and accept these criteria ofthe Bank unconditionally 9.7 The Bank will scrutnize the responses from ‘the vendors and will at its sole discretion, seek clarification from any or all Vendors and may do so without notification to any other Vendor. 10. Validity Time of this RFP Process The panel shall remain in force for 12 months from date of issue. The bank reserves right to. renew the empanelment of vendor(s) on the basis of satisfactory partipation/supply/services for another twelve months. aa. isclaimer ‘This RFP Is not an offer by Vijaya Bank but an invitation to Vendors for submitting thelr proposal for empanelment, based on which the Bank wil empanel the vendors. No Contractual obligation whatsoever shall arise from the RFP process. 12. Confidentiality Al information contained herein and in the enclosures is confidential information. By ‘accepting this material the recipient vendor agrees that the information will be held in Confidence and will not be reproduced, disclosed or used in whole or in part without prior permission of Vijaya Bank, Similarly Vijaya Bank will not divulge any information Contained in the offers of the vendors except to the extent of reading out the technical details to all vendors at the time of tender opening, 13.
