1. Social nature of a person is influenced by the slant and pressure in handwriting. Explain.
Answer

Slant reveals the emotional responsiveness. It is the inner response to emotional events and
the degree of arousal of feelings towards an event or experience. Slant is the expression of
emotions whereas pressure reveals the emotional permanence. Pressure reveals the depth
of the impressions an emotional experience left on the writers memory. Pressure is the
intensity of emotions. So we can say that social nature of a person can be depicted by
pressure and slant.

2. A graphological trait can exert influence in various aspects of ones personality. Explain
how self-confidence and generosity affects ones potential for achievement and
interpersonal relationships?
Answer

Self Confidence is belief in oneself as being capable to do a job. With this nature a person
can move towards goals since they are not hampered by fear of failure. Generous people
like to share and this people give and receive in kind. They have interests of others in their
radar they achieve more because they cooperate and share. So if a person is generous and
self-confident then that person achieves whatever he wants and they maintain their
relationships smoothly.

3. Differentiate between
a) Pride and Dignity
Pride
Trait indicator: Tall d and t stems that Trait indicator: Retraced or nearly
measure from 2 to 2 times height of lower

indicate pride.
Meaning: Pride is a feeling of satisfaction
and sense of self-respect in ones
accomplishments. It acts as a driving force
to do ones job well is important for them.
Dignity

respect and confident of others though
proper conduct speech, behavior and
dressing according to the occasion. They
are always concerned with how they are
perceived so they instinctively monitor
their behavior.
b) Generosity and Extravagance
Generosity
Trait indicator: Long finals on letters, the
width being atleast of the previous letter
and sweep upwards in a gentle curve as far
as the top of the middle zone.
Meaning: Generous people extend
themselves willingly, and they want to be
of help. They have a natural ability to
observe the needs of others and are quick
to respond.
c) Sensuousness and Sensuality
Sensuousness
Trait indicator: Heavy depth of the writing
line and clean writing without any bobs and
inked in letters indicates sensuousness.
Meaning: People who have highly
developed sense tend to observe, feel, and
appreciate almost all lifes experience
because they naturally pay attention to
things that touch them. They seek
experience that awaken their feelings so
they truly tune into sights, smells, sound,
color, and richness.
d) Clannishness and Selectivity
Clannishness
Trait indicator: Tight restricted loops at the
bottom of the letters g, j, p, y, z in
the lower zone.
Meaning: The smaller the loops, the flower
persons the writer includes in his life. This
is an isolating trait that cuts down on the
number of people the writer admits into his
inner circle.
Extravagance
Trait indicator: Very long endings plus
wide spacing within words.
Meaning: Intensified by traits like
impulsiveness and yieldingness. Because
extravagance shows a compulsive
overgiving nature there is obviously
something abnormal about action, which
amounts to false giving.
Sensuality
Trait indicator: Muddy handwriting when
strokes appear to be erratic blotches of
pooled ink.
Meaning: Coarseness in the personality,
especially crude expressions, which prove
offensive to people with sensitive natures.
Excessive self-indulgence seldom
encourages lasting relationships with
friends and relatives.
Selectivity
Trait indicator: Narrow lower loops.
Meaning: People with this trait keep their
interactions narrow, being content to have
a small circle of friends with whom they
feel comfortable. Just fact and preference
and loyal.
