COURSE SYLLABUS

1. Course Title : DIFFERENTIAL CALCULUS

2. Course Description : This course covers basic concepts of calculus such as


limits, continuity and differentiability of functions; differentiation of algebraic and
transcendental functions involving one and more variables; applications of differential
calculus to problems on optimization, rate of change, related rates, tangents and normals and
approximations; partial differentiation and transcendental curve tracing.

4. Pre-requisites : Analytic Geometry, Solid Mensuration, Advanced
Engineering Algebra
5. Number of Units : 4
