OBJECTIVES:
-exploring summer (how do we recognize summer, whats the weather like in
summer, what do we do during summer, other seasons in the year)
-exploring rocks (what are rocks, types of rocks, what are fossils and minerals)
-introducing summer and rocks through interesting materials, videos and artwork
- making artwork

EVALUATION:
AIMS:
- increasing childrens ability and use of art expression:
Children enjoyed art activities and specially ones connected with rocks.
They enjoyed working with clay and glitters and they showed that
they are very proud of their artwork.
- encouraging commenting and talking about the theme:
Children were talking a lot about the topic. Most of the time they were
talking about when they will go to the seaside and when will be their
last .day of kindergarten.
- sharing knoweledge, understanding and ideas among the children
Children were very cooperative and helped one another in
understanding of the theme. They also shared many ideas among
the group.

EVALUATION:
OBJECTIVES:
- exploring summer (how do we recognize summer, whats the weather like in
summer, what do we do during summer, other seasons in the year)
Children learned about summer mostly through talk.
- exploring rocks (what are rocks, types of rocks, what are fossils and
minerals)
Children were very interested in rocks. Their favourite part of rocks was
making gems and fossils. They were asking a few days in a row if we can
make fossils again.
- making artwork
Children enjoyed making artwork. They loved working with watercolours
and clay.
