Western–style “gay-rights” agendas have inundated entire national policies!

Dear Editor.
 
I refer to the letter by Swami Aksharananda captioned “Homosexuality Has Nothing to do With Western Cultures and Values” (SN 8 th
July 2010) and would appreciate equal space and prominence to rebut! We have addressed the full gamut of fourteen deadly
deficiencies attending to Aksharananda’s (aka Odaipaul Singh’s) recent misadventure into intellectual mischief in the online article
“Swami Aksharananda’s Delusion on Homosexuality: Western Values and their Usurpation by Gay Rights/Human
Rights” (http://www.scribd.com/doc/34519077/Aksharananda%E2%80%99s-Delusion-on-Homosexuality-Western-Values-and-
their-Usurpation-by-%E2%80%9CGay-Rights-Human-Rights%E2%80%9D  ). This short version will suffice for an initial response via
the local media!
 
The full response is also copied to the IRO, the ERC and the Guyana Bar Association … because Aksharananda’s reckless and
delusional advocacy predicts an inevitable clash of religions and races in Guyana ! The Swami should understand that the words
below reflect the evidence, and the worldview, supported by a majority of the population in the Caribbean . Abu Bakr (“Western
Gender Guerillas Are Using What Anthropology They Could Find to justify Sodomy Etc.”

justify-sodomy-etc/  ) has already addressed a multitude of the logical fallacies in Aksharananda’s tirade, and our task now is simply
to add detail and established authority!  
 
Firstly, Aksharananda ignores the proof (in his suggestively-captioned letter) that it is Western-styled “gay rights” and “gay-militant”
agendas that have inundated entire national policies in Canada , England , Europe, and the USA . That both the “agenda” and
“militancy” is premised on a hoax of enormous proportions (the deliberate decision by the APA to ignore ALL the clinical evidence and
psychiatric research over the past 100 years, and also the work of Freud, Jung and Adler) is validated in the online articles:
 
1.         Dr. Joseph Nicolosi’s treatment on “The Removal of Homosexuality from the Psychiatric Manual”
(http://www.catholicsocialscientists.org/CSSR/Archival/2001/Nicolosi_71-78.pdf ). Nicolosi advocates that gay-militants and others
with views like Aksharananda’s have caused “apathy and confusion” in society!
2.         Dr. Charles W. Socarides’ treatment on the tragedy of “Sexual Politics and Scientific Logic: The Issue of
Homosexuality” (http://www.pfox.org/Removal_of_homosexuality.html ). Socarides illustrates that views like Aksharananda’s are
false and … socially dangerous!
3.         Kathleen Melonakos, M.A., R.N. asks an astonishing question … as yet unanswered by Aksharananda … in the article
“Why Isn’t Homosexuality Considered a Disorder On the Basis of Its Medical Consequences? ”
(http://www.leaderu.com/orgs/narth/medconsequences.html  ). We should demand that Aksharananda answers it!
 
Secondly, that Aksharananda cites not a single source, authority of reference in his article above is further proof of the singular effort
in intellectual mischief that his article amounts to! He ignores our reference to the organization and structure being adopted by gay
militancy and the Sidewalk Café’ in “Selling Homosexuality and Prostitution to Guyana”

news_id=1790&pageaction=showdetail&news_id=1790&arcyear=2007&arcmonth=5&arcday=31=&ty=  ) and also ignores Ras
Ashkar’s admonition in “Those in support of homosexuality are more interested in their hedonistic agenda than in
individual freedom” (http://www.stabroeknews.com/2008/letters/05/27/those-in-support-of-homosexuality-are-more-interested-
in-their-hedonistic-agenda-than-in-individual-freedom/  ) that the authors and owners of the sasod-website in Guyana have also
included  a webpage euphemistically called “The Experimenting Teenager”. We reiterate the obvious:  “…Sidewalk Café once again
becomes a recruitment centre, openly flouting the law of the land with gay pornography … we see the new modus operandi of those
sworn to deceive, to pathologically misrepresent, to recruit because they cannot procreate …” A psychosexual/mental disorder, when
left to police itself, will always seek to impose its madness on society!
 
Thirdly, Aksharananda sets up the rather interesting theory in paragraph 20 of his letter that Guyanese will know whether or not
their “… religious scripture is right …” if the test of “rationality” is applied. This makes for interesting possibilities, since he implies
that if one can illustrate that the thing(s) that one’s scripture abhors is fully borne out by historical and current “rational” (scientific,
medical, legal, social) analysis and its findings, then one has a solid basis upon which to (sic) “rationalize” faith. The converse should
also be true, that the “scripture” of any religion that cannot withstand such scrutiny is false!   He seeks to indict Christianity in that
regard (para. 17)! Aksharananda must now be required to present the case for Hinduism… or for his noticeable (personal?) exception
to the IRO position!
 
Fourthly, therefore, in response to his direct accusations about Christianity, we can only posit that what the Bible addresses in single
sentences sometimes, and in whole pages and chapters at others, is inevitably borne out by historical and current “rational”
(scientific, medical, legal, social) analysis!  We should present the initial proof in the paragraphs following, and in the online article
“Swami Aksharananda’s Delusion on Homosexuality: Western Values and their Usurpation by Gay Rights/Human
Rights”!
 
Fifthly, we should point out the obvious to readers! Aksharananda states definitively (para 19) that “… Hinduism does not approve of
Homosexuality …”. These words should be enough to settle the issue for the IRO, because its denunciation never attempted to
address the pathological ambivalence and shape shifting of classic Hinduism (on every conceivable issue) that we referred to in “ 10
Defences for Anil Azeez Against Aksharananda’s Accusations” (http://www.scribd.com/doc/31033379/10-Defences-for-Anil-
Azeez-Against-Aksharananda-s-Accusations   ). It is also eminently consistent with the Biblical position on homosexuality outlined,
say, at page 44 of “The Case Against Pancap and the Decriminalization of Homosexuality”
(http://www.scribd.com/doc/17685588/The-Case-Against-PANCAP-and-the-Decriminalization-of-Homosexuality    ).  His
protestations about “rationality” notwithstanding, Swami Aksharananda did not respond to that rebuttal on the Anil Azeez issue!
Nor will he now respond to the scientific, medical, legal, social and policy issues in “ The Case Against Pancap and the
Decriminalization of Homosexuality”, cited above!
 
Sixth, again for paragraph 19, however, the IRO should now politely require of Aksharananda to outline with certainty what he
means by the next … and hopelessly contradictory … phrase in the same sentence; “… it (Hinduism) admits of a wide range of sexual
orientation possibilities and therefore the “vehemence and stridency with which the IRO has expressed its anti-homosexual
sentiments cannot be shared by Hindus…” For those who see the immediate implications of this piece of twisted reasoning, we had
referred to this proclivity to intellectual tomfoolery by gay-militancy and its supporters in the past, and noted that the decision by
gay-militancy to “manufacture” a “science” to fit “sexual-orientation” agenda had logically led to the fabricated concept of
“transgenderism”.  In Aksharananda’s murky world, ‘non-approval” and pandering to “muted vehemence” mean the same thing!
 
Seventh, we had addressed the fallacy of Aksharananda’s “sexual-orientation possibilities” in “The Case Against Cross-dressing
or Transgenderism in Guyana” (http://www.scribd.com/doc/27698238/The-Case-Against-Cross-Dressing-or-Transgender-ism-in-
Guyana-UPDATED  ). In that treatment, we had also noted the evidence in the literature of the contemporaneous diagnosis of
homosexuality and transgenderism, and also noted that the “success” for the one group invariably became the “opportunity” for the
other… hence the references everywhere to the “GBLT” (Gay, Bisexual, Lesbian and Transgender) “community”. Perhaps this is what
Aksharananda refers to when he invokes the idea that Hinduism “…admits of a wide range of sexual orientation possibilities …”??
Aksharananda will not respond to that treatment on transgenderism anytime soon!

Seven other fatal deficiencies in aksharananda's position are found in the full response in the online article “Swami
Aksharananda’s Delusion on Homosexuality: Western Values and their Usurpation by Gay Rights/Human Rights”. The
science he needs to plug the remaining holes in his arguments  are  best explained in the words of Matt Staver’s “Transsexualism
and the Binary Divide: Determining Sex Using Objective Criteria” (http://law.bepress.com/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?
article=8309&context=expresso  ). The detailed study assesses every decided case to pronounce on the legal morass generated the
by deception ... and highly questionable “science” ... that the GLBT-community and Aksharananda deliberately invoke in their
strategy to attack creation-structures such as sex, marriage, manhood, womanhood. 
 
Few would have summarized the core issues … or the above conclusion … as competently as Dr. Paul McHugh, Distinguished
Service Professor at the Johns Hopkins University . He is forced in 2005 to make the following conclusion about the illogic of
Aksharananda’s “nuanced and sophisticated” approach to homosexuality and transgenderism: “… We have wasted scientific and
technical resources and damaged our professional credibility by collaborating with madness rather than trying to study, cure, and
ultimately prevent it…” (“Surgical Sex”, article in Transgenderism is a Gender-Identity Disorder; Transgenderism is a Mental

How, therefore, does “Hindu” science, medicine and/or public policy rationalize a different conclusion to the research and clinical
studies that Dr. Paul McHugh referred to? Aksharananda must now enlighten us!
 
A failure to rationalize a similarly sane conclusion for his personal outlook … or that of Hinduism … means that both he and his
worldview are pandering to a hoax, a lie, and that the only qualification (fully earned and deserved) he has brought to this analysis
would be that of “hypocrite”.
