STUDENT CAPITOL DAY'RECAP...

As you know, CFF teachers/coaches were invited to submit a proposal to participate in the 2008 Classrooms for
the Futur# Student Capitol Day on Monday, May 12, 2008 in the East Wing Rotunda of the State Capitol.
Teachers, CFF Coaches, and students proudly presented their entries which addressed e#ective uses of
technology to support student achievement.

June 18, 2008'LEGISLATIVE DAY

The PDE is hosting a CFF 2007&08 Legislative Day & closure conference on June
18,(2008. CFF Administrators, teachers, technology leaders, librarians, project
managers, and coaches are invited to(celebrate their accomplishments of the
second year of CFF, and set sights for enhancing(the program and learning
experiences for teachers and students for year three.

Guest speaker, Alan November"November Learning, will combine a number of his most requested
presentation(topics to explore our changing high school environments. He will also discuss(Creating a New
Culture of Teaching and Learning by building learning communities.

Following the session, participants will be escorted to the Capitol Rotunda for a reception with legislators.
