Due to changes made to this work item from comment resolution of its initial ballot for API 5C3, the item is
being reballoted.
Section numbers will be assigned as necessary within the document when inserted, and will be viewable
during the recirculation for 5C3 prior to publishing.
Proposed changes are below (blue for text stricken from initial ballot, red for text added for this reballot):
X Temperature Effect
For applications from room temperature up to 232C (450F) on quenched and tempered API 5CT carbon
and low alloy steel, performance properties involving only yield strength and dimensions can be
calculated by replacing the specified minimum yield strength with the calculated yield strength in Formula
XX. For quenched and tempered API 5CT products (except L80 9Cr and 13Cr) used in applications
between room temperature and 232C (450F), performance properties involving only yield strength and
dimensions can be calculated by replacing the specified minimum yield strength with the calculated yield
strength in Equations XX1 and XX2 or YY1 and YY2.
