prepare and submit DMA Design Reports; hand over the
updated network models to Employer at end of contract.

1.3 Establish pressure/flow monitoring points and undertake Sq.Km. 1.28 151175
Pressure Zero Tests (PZTs), make temporary flow
measurements, and undertake regular pressure and
flow monitoring for all DMAs in accordance with the
Specification; prepare and submit PZT Completion
Reports.

2.0 Unaccounted for Water and Leakage Assessment


and Reduction

2.1 Determine the initial Unaccounted for Water (UFW) Sq.Km. 1.28 1197357
indicating - leakage and non-leakage component levels
in each DMA before any repair work is undertaken, and
report for each DMA as well as in the overall contract
area.

2.2 Undertake monitoring of UFW level including flow and LS 1 1000000

specified in the Bid, including undertaking leakage

3.0 Monitoring and Control of Unaccounted for Water


and Leakage Levels during Operation &
Maintenance Period.

3.1 Monitor the Unaccounted for Water (UFW) level Sq.Km. 1.28 302119
including flow and pressure monitoring, undertake
additional leakage surveys, leak detection and leakage
reduction work in response to the monitoring data, or
when the "trigger" UFW level is reached, undertake
meter testing and replacement, locate and report illegal
connections, etc., to maintain or further reduce UFW.
Record data and update the DMA file and the GIS
system, and report for each DMA and for the contract
area.

7.0 Consumer Water Meters
The water meters shall be of multi-jet type. It shall
conform to ISO 4064 and protection as per IP68 for the
required size standards for velocity, super dry, magnetic
drive. The material that comes in contact with the water
shall withstand 2 mg/l of residua) chlorine and be
resistant to corrosion. The totaliser shall be covered with
a sturdy glass of 5 mm thickness capable to withstand,
