GUIDELINES

1. The deadline for submission word document is today (16th July, 2017) 11:59:59 PM and for
submission of PPT is tomorrow (17th July, 2017) 00:59:59 AM.

2. All groups are required to submit their word document and PPT, in a google drive shared with you,
before the deadline. Submissions post this deadline will not be accepted.

3. The groups have been formed as per the attachment. Change of groups is not permitted.

4. Each group has been allocated one chapter (case) from the book based upon the group number.
For e.g. Chapter 1 has been assigned to Group 1, Chapter 2 to Group 2 and soon.

5. Each group is required to send only word doc and one PPT.

6. Submission format:

a) A word document containing the analysis and is built upon the lead questions.

The analysis should contain an answer to each of the 7 questions. Minimum number of words
required for each question are 1000. There is no limit on the maximum number of words.

b) A power point presentation that summarizes your analysis of each of the 7 questions.

c) File naming convention is PGP1_GrpXX.doc/docx and PGP1_GrpXX.ppt/pptx respectively

for the above two documents, where XX is group number. Group 1 will write as "Grp01".

d) The word document should confirm to Times New Roman format of font size 12 with a line
spacing of 1.5. Headings should be bold having font size of 14.

e) The power point presentation should be built on Arial font with slide title in size 32 and
slide text in size 24. Font colour should be black. Blue / Green / Red colours could be used only
for highlighting.

f) PPT should have one title slide mentioning the topic and group members' name. It should
contain a minimum of 7 slides- First slide (post title slide) should have introductory note on
the case. Thereafter analysis of 7 questions should follow.

Last slide should contain your key takeaways from the case.

g) There should be a maximum of 7 bullet points per slide. Each point should be constructed
by 4 words.

LEAD QUESTIONS FOR ANALYSIS

1. For the case assigned to you, identify the area of management they pertain to? Explain Why.
2. Describe the environment, background and circumstances leading to the events in the assigned
case.

3. Diagrammatically structure the events of the case (with timelines). Explain each event in detail.

4. Identify the protagonist in each case (from your point of view, not the narrators). Justify.

5. What was the strategy employed by the protagonist.

6. What would have been your strategy? How is it better than what happened?

7. Currently you have analysed the case from an armchair, with all facts available. Could you have
come up with the same strategy if you were behaving real-time? Justify.
