This article talks about how studies find that almost 4 in 10 concussed student athletes

stay on the field after being concussed. Many young athletes are concussed daily,

however, they believe they can play through the pain. Sometimes, when an athlete is hit

very hard on the head, they do not test themselves to see if they're concussed, they just

continue playing. This article talks about how 38% of athletes continue playing after a

head injury. It talks about the symptoms of having a concussion and how young athletes

fee. It also talks about the importance of parents and coaches knowing the signs of a

concussion so they're able to take kids off the field after they have had head impacts.

Overall, this article is extremely informative about concussions in young athletes.
