Distance between primary head and signal converter

IFC 021K/F Signal converter
The distance is limited by
conductivity of the fluid
for systems with pulsed D.C. field excitation, by the cross-
sectional area of the field power cable
If more than one of these points apply, the shortest distance
controls.
Precise information on the distance between primary head and
signal converter, connection diagrams and length of the signal
transmission cable is given in the individual signal converter
specifications.
"Magnetic inductive flowmeters should be installed and wired
in accordance with the information and directions given in the
installation and operating instructions".

DN 350-1000
Electrical conductivity of the fluid
Measurement is independent of the conductivity of the fluid,
provided it in above the limit specified for the various systems.

For most primary heads, the lower limit is 20µS/cm
