Introduction
Todays mobile phone users are often extensively dependent upon applications to
accomplish their daily needs. Mobile applications help the users in the following ways: accessing
email, navigation, chatting, reading e Books etc. All these purposes are fulfilled only when there
is a framework, which provides a complete mobile platform to achieve these tasks. Android is one
of the mobile application based platforms for providing a wide range of applications that are
reliable.
The advancement and efficiency on every endeavor of the school, St. Louis Anne Colleges
is one of most the students desired. The researchers want to develop an application which has a
helpful feature that could be beneficial to both Students and to everyone. The application has a
Stress management features and Reviewing Tips for student who facing struggles on their studies.
The Stress management refers to the wide spectrum of techniques and psychotherapies
aimed at controlling a person's levels of stress, especially chronic stress, usually for improving
everyday functioning. Stress produces numerous physical and mental symptoms which vary
according to everyones situational factors. These can include physical health decline as well as
depression. The process of stress management is named as one of the keys to a happy and
successful life in modern society. Although life provides numerous demands that can prove

difficult to handle, stress management provides many ways to manage anxiety and maintain overall
well-being.
An effective reading strategy will help you commit information for the long term. Have
you ever taken a training course, read a business book, or learned a new skill, but then forgotten
almost everything about it within a few weeks? When you don't have the chance to apply new
knowledge, it's easy to forget what you have learned. Therefore, it's so important not only to take
notes, but also to review what you have learned regularly, so that you can remember it for the long-
term. In this article, we look at the benefits of reviewing information, and we explore several
strategies that you can use to do this effectively. Why Review Information? When we learn new
information, we remember it best immediately after we have learned it. We then forget details as
time passes. Even after a few days, we may be able to recall only a little of what we initially
learned.
Studying and reading are not the same. We read novels, but we have to study textbooks.
Textbooks are dense and introduce a lot of new material - without having great plots or characters.
Thus, while reading is an important first step, it won't usually transfer the new information into
your long-term memory. To do that, you have to apply ACTIVE strategies to learn the material in
the book.

Today the use of cell phones has become an amazing part of daily life. Next, we are going
to describe briefly about the history and current state of mobile technologies.
Stress is one of the most fundamental problems spanning through human endeavor. Nweze
(2005) stated that for two and half decades, stress phenomenon has become a topical issue in
management development, seminars and workshops in Nigeria. He further stated that the
First, nobody is immune to stress. We can be caught up in a situation that causes or induces
stress in the individual. Thus, as a part of human living the young, old, rich, poor, professionals
and lay men alike are potential victims of stress. Second, because stress is viewed as the disease
of growth and development, there is the search for the stress virtue in modern life.
Reading is more than just a goal; reading and comprehending are essential for success in
math, history, geography, science, engineering, and any other school subjects. And its not just
helpful in school. Everyday reading, whether of a recipe, an appliance manual, a road sign, or a
newspaper, is dependent on knowing how to read the words and also on understanding those words
and phrases. A young person who can only decode the words misses the true meaning of any text

The researchers plan is to create an application that will be useful to both students and
employees who encounters stress and dont even know how to surpass it. The application features
are so great that surely beneficial to them or in us it has stress management system which is so
helpful to slowly recover them to stress. and it has also a reviewing tips that could be helpful to
the students.
1. To help the students manage their stress and reviewing teach them some hints for effective
reviewing.

In our daily living, we are facing different kinds of stress. Stress is a natural phenomenon in
which simply means that it cannot be controlled (Selye) Stress is defined as the reaction of the
individual to demand from environment that possesses a threat. Stress is related specific fear of
failure, fear of teachers evaluations, fear of harming patient, fear of interaction with patient and
families. The people who are susceptible in psychological stressors are the one who have poor
social network, neurotic disposition, lack of hardness and who have experienced traumatic events
in life (Domjan). In psychobiological stress responses, it may affect the biological and
constitutional prosperities like the students background; age and sex, diet, smoking and alcohol
intake, physical fitness and menstrual cycle may also influence reactivity to stress (Duffy).
Prolonged and extreme stress will eventually overwhelm the individuals physical and
psychological resources, thus the student is unable to think rationally, unable to make wise
decisions

Whilst there is little disagreement about the prevalence of stress there is considerable debate about
what the word (stress) actually refers to. In ordinary conversation we seem to be willing to apply
the word to both cause and effect. In other words, the common sense view of stress is that it is a
combination of external stressors and our response in the early and highly influential research of
Selye (1936). Stress is as the result of an interaction between an individual emotional, intellectual,
social, and physical resources and the demands on him or her.

argue that stress is a different phenomenon form pressure. Stress is something more than mere
pressure. It carries strong overtones of the breakdown of normal human performance. In an earlier
work, Cooper & Marshall, (1978), the same two authors concluded that stress is essentially
individually defined and must be understood with reference to characteristics of both the individual
and his environment, as it is the outcome of the two.

C. Here in the Philippines, particularly in the Saint Theresa's College, the greatest number of
student problems that cause them stressed was found in the areas of personal adjustment,
school life and the future, according to Algoet (as cited in www.scribd.com). As
observed and responded by the counselors in the Student Development Center (SDC) of
Cor Jesu College, based from their counseling session with the students, they reported
that most of the first year students considered their subject instructors, peers, time
schedule and school policies as factors to their adjustment difficulty in college. These
factors also make the students become stress. This study intends to find out whether
there is a relationship between stress management and adaptation to college of freshmen
student of the Department of Arts and Sciences and in CorJesu College of Digos City.
Foreign Studies
A. According to R. Lazarus, stress occurs when an individual perceives the external
environmental demands as beyond his power. Later, along with Lazarus, S. Folkman
proposes in one of their works, the idea that stress can be seen as the result of "imbalance
between demands and resources" or as a result of "pressure that exceeds the power
supposed to be held". That arise can generate a state stress switch that arise can
generate a state of acute stress which may manifest itself through lower productivity at
work, loss of attention etc
B. According to Amy London Deutschendorf, in providing health care in themillennium, health care
providers were challenged with a lot of obstructions. Thecondition of nursing vocation should be
examined seriously to reconsider the applicationof the nursing procedure in the existing and future health
care environment, todetermine solutions for the future quality care delivery.
C. In Brenda Patons concerted research study about students who areexperiencing changing level of
vulnerability, hesitation and confidence to practice withintheir own level of competency, students talked
about knowing how to carry out skills butnot knowing the ropes within the clinical area and consequently
feeling like anstranger in unfamiliar territory. Students were confronted with the fear of not knowing,do
not belong and being hesitant of their performances. They are conscious of their lackof knowledge, the
desire to make it accurate and avoid harm, and reality of not beingable to practice.

Causes of stress are called stressors. It is an agent or condition capable of producing stress or
something that initiates a stress response; it can be people, objects, places or events. These are
outside forces that place unusual demands on a persons body or mind. Modern life exposes
people to many stressors. Some physical stressors remain, including natural disasters, illness, and
noise. Certain life experiences, such as the death of a loved one, are major stressors. Day-to-day
problems, such as burning toast, taking rest, or feeling rushed, may also be stressful. People need
not experience events directly to feel stress. Television, newspapers, and other means of mass
communication flood people with information about upsetting occurrences throughout the world.
People can also imagine future misfortunes and regret past failures. Experts consider modern life
particularly stressful for children and families. Not all stressors affect everyone in the same
manner. In a particular situation, one person may remain quite calm while another person may
display many signs of stress. The difference between the two people may be that the first person
feels in control of the situation and views it as a challenge and is therefore committed to
overcome it.
Duque (2007) cited common effects of stress. These are insomnia, headaches, backaches,
constipation, diarrhea, high blood pressure, heart disease, depression and alcohol, tobacco or
drug use. He suggested doing the following: a. After seeing the doctor, share your treatment plan
with people close to you. Talk with friends and relatives and explain what you are going through;
b. If your doctor prescribes medication take it exactly the way it is prescribed. Do not stop taking
your medication until you doctor tells you to stop doing so c. Keep all follow-up appointments
with your doctor; d. Remember that it may take some time to start feeling better; e. If you
experience side effects from any medication, tell your doctor; and f. Seek professional
counseling.

Salvacion (2004) studied the stress profile of students in the College of Dentistry of the
University of the Philippines, Manila. The study involved 149 dentistry student-respondents.
Academic stressors like examinations and grades, fully loaded days, difficulty in completing
clinical requirements, and fear of getting delayed topped the identified stressors. Academic
factors were stressful in the first 3 year levels. Academic stress peaked during the sophomore
year. No significant differences in rankings were observed between genders. There was
undeniable similarity in the general stress profile of the different year levels.

Grandea (2006) used the descriptive research approach in studying the stress and coping
mechanisms of college freshmen of Southville International School and Colleges. It involved
201 student-respondents. The student-respondents experienced high perceived stress. The
identified main stressors were academics. The student-respondents used positive stress coping
mechanisms. The perceived stress and coping mechanisms of the student-respondents were
independent of their profile.
