Background & Language Expertise:

Being a Chinese Singaporean, I grew up with two languages - Chinese and English. I consider this as my
greatest asset as a Chinese to English translator. Chinese is my second mother tongue and my 8 years of
stay in Taipei has also honed my proficiency in Traditional Chinese. In comparison to most of my native
English peers, my understanding of the source text (Chinese) is stronger and more in-depth.

Professional Education and Work Experience:

I graduated from Curtin University of Technology and obtained my Bachelors Degree in Commerce,
majoring in Business Management. Having worked in Singapore, Taiwan, China and the United States
with MNCs in the technology and education sector for more than 15 years, I was well exposed to the
operations and management in diversified areas of sales, marketing, legal, operations, CRM, supply chain
and M&A. At the end of 2013, I turned full time after having been doing freelance translation on a part
