people interested in diverse areas of Indic and Vedic Studies. Attendees typically
include university faculty and students, independent scholars, writers, journalists, media

multidisciplinary academic society that welcomes people engaged or interested in
studying any field of Vedic/Indic studies. The word Vedic is used in a wide sense to
include not only the Vedas but also the past, present and future of traditions and
societies based on the Vedas.

The theme is broadly interpreted. Papers dealing with Vedic Socio /Economic/ Political
Institutions and their contemporary relevance are also sought. Abstracts of 250 to 500
words may propose either a Peer-Reviewed Paper (typically 5000 words or 6 to 9
pages) or a submission for a Presentation Only track, in English, Hindi or Sanskrit.
Papers will be reviewed by a panel of experts for their suitability for presentation and/or
publication. The broad areas are as follows -
