2 Extract the logic_analyzer-master folder to where the Arduino projects are to be located.
3 Rename the folder to logic_analyzer. This folder should contain 3 .ino files.
4 In the Arduino application, click Menu options File > Open and select the
logic_analyzer.ino file in the logic_analyser folder.
5 Once the three ino files have loaded, click Verify to confirm the files compile OK.
1 Download the latest version of the Open Bench Logic Sniffer zip file from:
http://www.lxtreme.nl/ols/
3 Open the folder and double click on run.bat. (Latest version of Java may need to be installed
for this application to run correctly).
5 Right Click on the run.bat icon and create shortcut. Drag shortcut to desktop. Rename
Shortcut as LogicSniffer
Using Logic Sniffer
1 Connect test probes from Arduino pins 8 (Channel 0) to 13 (Channel 5) to logic components
under test. Connect ground wire from Arduino pin GND to equipment ground.
2 Ensure Arduino is connected via USB cable and Logic Analyzer sketch is loaded and running.
4 Under the Capture Menu item, ensure Device points to OpenBench Logic Sniffer
Analyzer Port: Select same port as indicated in bottom right corner of the Arduino
application
8 In the Acquisition tab, select required Sampling rate and Recording size and click on capture.
