RDU Processor Boards
The 4U RDU Chassis comes with Power Module in built with SPD (Surge Protection Device)
Two Fan Modules FANM-C4C are inserted as shown in the diagram.
The improved FAN Module has 3 FAN units
The system boards are ruggedized and IP50 dust protected hence no Air Filter is needed
Two types are System Boards are available as of now

LCC2 Channel Assembly Board with 4 Bands support and 3 sectors each
Dummy Units are Inserted when no Channel Assembly cards (LCC2) are fitted to prevent dust from entering

4. Precautions while handling BH Fiber Cables
1) It should be used after removing the dust cap of the optical connector
2) Check whether the contamination on the ferrule section of the connector
before connecting an optical cable , and must be careful not to smear it with
dust age materials. If there are dust- age materials to the optical connector
ferrule section should not be removed by blowing into the mouth , referring
to the three methods of Appendix should remove dirt older material.

Method-2 Replacing MCB with Main Feeder Power OFF
1. LSMR/NOC/RJIL has to be intimated and Planned Event (PE) has to be raised mentioning the Power OFF and affected equipments like
CSS/Microwave IDU/ODU
2. Approval of PE before replacement of MCB
Note If MCB Shelf supplies Power to only RRHs and CDU there is no need to get approval of PE
3. Power OFF Input -48V to MCB Shelf from Rectifier (63 A and 32 A) on both sides
4. Power OFF other MCBs
5. Remove -48V cable to CDU
6. Remove +Ve RTN Cable to CDU
7. Unlock the MCB Latch of CDU
8. Unscrew All 8 MCB Screws connecting the Feeder Bus-Bar on one side
9. Lift one side of the Bus Bar little
10. Tilt the Bottom of MCB LITTLE Towards You
11. Push UP the MCB upto end of Bus Bar
12. Tilt the Bottom of MCB Little MORE Towards You
13. Pull DOWN the MCB Completely from the MCB Assembly
14. Push UP the MCB (32 A) Completely Towards the Bus Bar
15. Tilt the Bottom of MCB Little Towards the RACK (to Fit the Top Groove)
16. Pull DOWN the MCB Until the Top Groove is completely fitted
