Executive Summary
The evaluations of ten (10) websites are to be critically analysed in this report. Moreover, the
revenue models and the required services are given to do the analysis and evaluations. There
are more revenue models but in this report, only five of them will be discussed in reference to
the sites that collaborate with it.

The revenue models are listed as following;

1. Selling Goods and Services Model

2. Selling Information or other Digital Content Model

3. Advertising- Supported Model

4. Auction Model

5. Fee-for-Transaction Model

With these revenue models, it helps to know the nature of business that is done online and
also evaluations are done easily according to the selected criteria for ach models.

It is useful information for the business manager and the management to do critical decisions
based on this report for a successful e-commerce business and also for digital marketing.

1.0 Introduction

In this report on evaluation of ten (10) e-commerce websites, it is just to compare the
different types of revenue model according to the criteria and guidelines for building
effective e-commerce websites. Moreover, there are more than five (5) revenue models but
the chosen five is to help evaluate and assess it with the criteria.

Moreover, it helps to enhance the knowledge by analysing the e-commerce website so when
the next assessment to actually design and create an e-commerce website, it will be effective
based on the principles and guidelines of creating a effective website which is more customer
oriented.

These analyses help to improve the performance of the website so it can be user friendly.
Many users can be attracted when visiting those sites and more to that, they will tell others
about that site and how effective and efficient it operates.

Hence, effective websites always sustain in the market and has a large market share. It will
help generate more revenue for the business.

Therefore, with the evaluations done now it is easy to analyse the website and also the type of
revenue model it belongs too. It is also useful information for the management to make

e-commerce.

Seeing that the world is changing at a rapid rate into technology, digital marketing will be a
very effective tool to market the products and also from promotions of a companys product
or service. Moreover, we are advancing into technology, so in the future digital marketing
and e-commerce will be a demanding spot to buy and sell.
