Information
Please fill out the following information and return it to Miss
Dalzell, in room A140, by Wednesday, September 6th in order
to be considered as a candidate for the 2017-2018 newspaper
staff. If you are chosen the list will be posted outside of each
grade levels science lab on Thursday, September 7th and will
need to stay after school for our first meeting until 3:15 that day.
Further information about the year will be given at the meeting.
I look forward to meeting and working with this years staff!

Job description: Members of the Arbor Park Middle School

newspaper staff will be responsible for the following:
researching topics, writing articles, editing writing, taking
pictures, attending various school activities, interviewing, and
much more! You must have a passion for writing and interest in
also improving your writing skills. I will be looking for students
for several different positions.

selected. I will be responsible for learning academic skills and applying them to
this production. I understand that evaluation of my performance will be made not
only on mastery of skills, but also on their application. I know that I must
sometimes devote time outside of school to accomplish these tasks and be able to
spend extra time to meet deadlines. By signing this application, I agree to dedicate
myself to the publication and the other staff members to produce a quality
newspaper of the highest quality possible.
