APPLICATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE

(ECC) AMENDMENT

1. The Proponent files Amendment Application to the Screening


Officer/Receiver Clerk for Preliminary Assessment. For Minor Amendment,
only a Request letter addressed to the Regional Director, specifying thereof
the nature of amendment, is required. For Major Amendments, the documents
required depends on the proposed modification. Please inquire from the
Screening Officer for details.

2. The Screening Officer prepares the Order of Payment for the required fees
to be paid by the Proponent at the Cashiers Office.

3. The Proponent presents the Official Receipt (OR) to the Screening Officer
for the OR Number to be recorded/noted. Subsequently, the Application is
forwarded to the Encoder.

4. The Encoder uploads the Application. Subsequently, the Application and


copy of the original ECC and/or previous Amendment is forwarded to the
Environmental Monitoring and Enforcement Division (EMED).

Duration (Step 1 to 4): One Day

5. The EMED concerned Technical Staff conducts compliance monitoring and


prepares/submit corresponding report to the CPD within seven (7) days.

6. The CPD concerned Technical Staff conducts the evaluation, prepares the
Decision Document/Amended ECC within three (3) days. Subsequently, the
Section/Technical Staff concerned and the Head of the CPD conducts the final
review/evaluation and recommends Decision Document/Amended ECC to the
Regional Director within two (2) days for approval.

7. The Regional Director approves the Decision Document/Amendment


within a day. The Decision Document is uploaded to the EMB Central Office
while the Proponent is immediately informed of its approval.

Processing Fee:

Major Amendment - Php 1, 200.00


Minor Amendment - Php 300.00
Documentary Stamp - Php 15.00
