NOTICE FOR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES OF ROUND 2 (Embassy Track)

Dear applicants for the 2017 KGSP for Undergraduate Degrees,

Congratulations to the successful candidates and sincere thanks to the rest of the applicants for your
interest in the program! Please find attached the result of the 2nd round of review.

Please refer to the followings for the terms describing the status of candidates:

PASS means that you have successfully passed the 2nd round of selection;

We ask all candidates whose names are included in the attached result to carefully read the followings and
take appropriate measures in order to be considered for university admissions reviews.

A. Submission of Mailing Address

The successful candidates are asked to complete and submit the Form 2017KGSP-U Address.

Form 2017KGSP-U Address is available as an attachment to this announcement.

How to submit
- Email the completed form to lmhlucy@korea.kr.
- The file name must be in the following format: 2017KGSP-U Address-[Country]-[Last Name].
For example, a candidate named Sujin Park from Korea must save the file as 2017-KGSP-U
Address-Korea-Park.

Attention!!! In the subject line of your email, please do not include the following words:
document, submission, or confirmation. Any emails including any of those words in the
subject line will be automatically filtered.
Submission Deadline: Tuesday, November 22, 2016.

B. Submission of Supplementary Documents

Those who have items listed under the Supplementary Documents Required must submit the requested
documents to NIIED no later than November 30, 2016.

These documents must be either original or certified.

In case you are unable to submit an original document, please submit a certified copy of the
original. Either notarized or apostilled documents will be accepted as certified copies.
All documents must be mailed to the following address:

Note that email submissions of these documents will not be accepted.
C. Submission of Health Certificate

All candidates whose names are listed in the 2nd round result must submit a Certificate of Health along
with the laboratory results.

Form Certificate of Health is available as an attachment to this announcement.

The Certificate of Health must be completed and signed by a physician or a doctor with an MD
degree.
The laboratory results must include all examinations listed in section 4. Laboratory Examination.
How to submit
- Email the scanned files of a completed Certificate of Health and all laboratory results to
lmhlucy@korea.kr
- The scanned files must be compiled into ONE SINGLE PDF FILE, named in the following format:
2017-KGSP-U-Health-EMB-[Country]-[Last Name]. For example, a candidate named Sujin Park
from Korea must save the file as 2017-KGSP-U-Health-EMB-Korea-Park.
- Please limit the size of the file less than 5 MB.
-Attention!!! In the subject line of your email, please do not include the following words:
document, submission, or confirmation. Any emails including any of those words in the
subject line will automatically be filtered.
Submission Deadline: Wednesday, December 7, 2016

D. Submission of Passport Copy

All candidates whose names are listed in the 2nd round result must submit a copy of a valid passport. If you
do not have a passport yet, please apply for one as soon as possible.

Those who have already submitted a passport copy at the time of applying do not have to submit
it again.
Please submit the photo page of your passport. Do not submit all pages of your passport.
How to submit
- Email the scanned file of your passport to lmhlucy@korea.kr
- The file must be an image file, in either one of the following two formats: .jpg or .png.
- The file must be named in the following format: 2017-KGSP-U-PT-EMB-[Country]-[Last Name].
For example, a candidate named Sujin Park from Korea must save the file as 2017-KGSP-U-PT-
EMB-Korea-Park.
- Please limit the size of the file less than 1 MB.
-Attention!!! In the subject line of your email, please do not include the following words:
document, submission, or confirmation. Any emails including any of those words in the
subject line will automatically be filtered.
Submission Deadline: Wednesday, December 7, 2016
E. Third Round of Review: University Admissions

The photocopied application sets of those who pass the 2nd round will now be forwarded to each
university for admission reviews.
Each university will conduct the final round of review from late November to late December.
During this period, all candidates are advised to check emails frequently and to make themselves
available to answer the phone calls from the universities.
In case the university requests additional document, you must submit them directly to the
university.
Each university will contact individual candidates for the admissions results around December 23.
- Once you receive the results from all three universities, you must make your final choice on
university.
- You must notify NIIED about your final choice no later than Thursday, December 29, 2016 by
submitting the Form 2017KGSP-U University-Major Final Choice to lmhlucy@korea.kr.
- Form 2017KGSP-U University-Major Final Choice is available as an attachment to this
announcement.
- You must also notify the universities about your final choice.
