CHALLENGE
The customer required a development platform that would help am-
plify business prospects through mining of insightful business infor-
mation and at the same time the platform had to be easy to use.

Client required a robust business intelligence tool that can perform

the below functions:
Provide accurate business insights for various stakeholders
facilitating the decision making process.
Powerful and exible reporting with intuitive dashboards
Centralized repository to enable quick response to business
queries
Allow end users to generate reports/ dashboards with few drag
and drop options.
Empower stakeholders to evaluate sales margin by comparing
dierent timelines

SOLUTION
Our team recommended, the Talend Open Studio as ETL to centralize
warehouse data. Jaspersoft Studio is used for business intelligence
related functions such as reporting, dashboards and others. Some of
the areas addressed were:
o Centralization of warehouse data in required format for easy
information access.
o Development of dashboards, self-service reports and visual
analytics.
o Development of Jasper Server which can be accessed from any Domain - Retail
location.
o Enablement of the ad-hoc report generation by the end users.
o Visualization with HTML5 widgets like heat-maps, angular &
Technologies - Talend Open Studio ,
linear gauges and charts. Jaspersoft Studio
o Intuitive reports that can be drilled down to desired levels based
on hierarchy.
