APPENDIX B
1400 General
The lighting and electrical works shall be in accordance with the requirements
of Section XIV, Lighting and Electrical Works of the General Specifications,
Section 14 of Division II of Document III-2 and as modified in this Appendix.
Should there be any difference between the General Specifications, Division II
of Document III-2 or Contract Drawings and this Appendix, then the
requirements of the Appendix shall prevail.
14.00.03 Penalty for Failure to Complete Electrical Rectification Works
The Contractor shall complete all lighting works, including all rectification works within
90 days of Substantial Completion. In the event the Contractor fails to complete such
rectification works to the Engineer's approval within the above specified time, he shall
incur a penalty of Kuwait Dinars One Hundred and Fifty (KD.150/-) per day until the
Works are completed to the Engineer's satisfaction.
The Contractor shall submit the name of the sub-contractor he proposes to use for
lighting and electrical works to the Engineer for approval.

The Contractor shall submit in duplicate the following Submittal Schedules which are
incorporated herein, fully, completed and signed for the Ministry of Electricity & Water
approval at Approval Stage B - Materials Approval, as required by Clause 1401.09 of
the General Specifications.
The Ministry of Electricity & Water shall be notified at least four (4) weeks in advance
before any field performance tests or inspection works on the permanent lighting
works are to be carried out. The Contractor shall provide to the Ministry of Electricity &
Water Engineer as-built working drawings and all current, voltage, insulation
resistance and earth resistance readings in three (3) complete sets before he will
proceed for any inspection. He shall make available all tools, test equipment including
luxmeter, luminance meter, theodolites, necessary transport and ladder vehicles,
labourers, etc. to the M.E.W. Engineer during carrying out of the inspection works.
14.01.13.1 General
All existing lighting units, lighting control cabinets/feeder pillars and underground
cabling being replaced by new work on this Contract shall be removed and salvaged
for later reuse by the Employer, unless otherwise directed by the Engineer or shown
on the Drawings. The Contractor shall obtain the Engineers approval prior to the
removal of any such existing work.
All materials designated for reuse in this Contract shall be stored off the ground and
adequately protected to the satisfaction of the Engineer. The method and location of
storage of such materials shall be to the approval of the Engineer.
All recovered materials designated for returning to MEW store shall be salvaged,
temporarily stored, loaded, hauled, unloaded and stored where directed by the MEW.

All foundations of existing lighting masts, poles and control cabinets/feeder pillars
which are to be removed and not replaced by refurbished units shall be removed and
disposed of in accordance with Section II of the Specifications.
The Contractor shall refurbish and relocate the existing lighting masts and poles as
indicated on the drawings and as specified herein. All existing 30 metre high masts
and 16m and 10m light poles shall be carefully dismantled and transported to
contractor's workshop for refurbishing.
The refurbishing work of the existing lighting units shall include, but not be limited to
the following:
1. Thorough cleaning of the exterior and interior of each lighting unit and
components therein.
4. Furnishing and installing of new lamps for all resited lighting units.
6. Rewiring the installation of new component parts where specified and/or when
directed and the rectification of all deteriorated and damaged parts.
7. Furnishing and installing new cable for resited units as well as for connections, if
any, between resited units and the existing units.
8. Furnishing and installing new grounding and lightning protection systems for
30m masts.
9. Furnishing new grounding systems for 16m and 10m lighting units.
11. Furnishing and replacing locking arrangements on mast and pole doors.
The Contractor shall refurbish and relocate the existing lighting control cabinets/feeder
pillars as indicated on the drawings and as specified herein. All existing control
cabinets/feeder pillars shall be carefully dismantled and transported to contractor's
workshop for refurbishing.
The refurbishing work of the existing lighting control cabinets/feeder pillars shall
include, but not be limited to the following:
1. Thorough cleaning of the exterior and interior of each cabinet and all
components therein.
4. Rewiring the installation of new component parts where specified and/or when
directed and the rectification of all deteriorated and damaged parts.
6. Furnishing and installing new cable for resited control cabinets/feeder pillars as
well as for connections, if any, between resited units and the existing units.
14.01.13.4 New Foundations for Lighting Masts, Poles and Control Cabinets/Feeder
Pillars
The Contractor shall construct new foundations at each relocated lighting unit and
control cabinet/feeder pillar location. All such foundations shall conform with the
requirements of Clause 1403 of the General Specifications. The Contractor shall
furnish and install new anchor bolts, to match existing anchor bolts being removed.
New bolts shall be of the same material, diameter, dimensions and configuration of the
existing bolts and shall be as approved by the Engineer. The new foundations for
refurbished units shall be the same size as those being provided for new installations.
The Contractor shall install new cable and reset the existing lighting units and control
cabinets/feeder pillars on new foundations. The Contractor shall install all new
underground cable and complete all connections and terminations for electrification of
these relocated units.
The Contractor shall remove the redundant street lighting units and feeder pillars in
accordance with the requirements of Clause 1401.13.2 of the Specifications.
As part of his obligations the Contractor shall make all necessary arrangements with
the Ministry of Electricity & Water for the disconnection of power supply to the lighting
units and feeder pillars.
Upon completion of the installation of the new cable and final connection of the same
and/or when directed by the Engineer and the MEW, the Contractor shall hand
excavate, remove and salvage existing redundant underground cables under the
supervision of and to the satisfaction of the Ministry of Electricity and Water and as
directed by the Engineer.
The Contractor shall furnish and utilize pulleys or other approved devices to prevent
any damage to existing cables being removed and salvaged. The Contractor shall
recover intact each full length of existing redundant cable unless otherwise directed by
the Engineer. Salvaged cables shall be cut at either end of the length removed and no
intermediate cuts will be permitted unless approved by the Engineer. The Contractor
shall furnish drums upon which he shall wind the salvaged cable. Each reel shall be
tagged or marked to identify the cable voltage, type and length wound on their
respective drums.
The Contractor shall carefully handle the salvaged cable, cable cover tiles and all
other appurtenances and other materials to prevent any damage to same.
All excavation and backfill in removal and salvage of existing electrical material shall
comply with the applicable requirements of Section II of the General Specifications.
14.02.03 Underground Cable Installation in UPVC Cable Ducts in Areas Outside of Median
Barriers.
All street lighting cables within the limits of works of the contract except those in the
median barriers only, shall be installed in UPVC cable ducts, all as specified in clause
1402.03 of the Amendment No.1 to Section XIV. The Contractor shall prepare and
submit detailed drawings for the cable ducts and handholes layout for the Engineer's
approval and no works shall be started at site until and unless the layout drawings are
approved by the M.E.W. Engineer.
The locations shown on the Drawings for all high masts and conventional lighting units
are indicative only. The Engineer will provide setting out details of all installations at
the appropriate time.
14.03.04 Positioning and Aligning of Lighting Masts and Poles on Concrete Foundations
The high lighting masts installed along the median of the motorways shall have their
head frame assembly fixed in such a way that for the 6-lantern configuration, 2 nos. of
lanterns are at right angles to the carriageways and the remaining 4 nos. at 60
degrees, 2 nos. on either side. Installations with lanterns positioned along the centre
line of the median, whether for 6-lantern or 4-lantern configurations, will not be
accepted.
The doors of the lighting masts and poles installed along the medians shall be directed
towards Northward or Eastward except where the existing lighting installation at the
interfaces in having a different arrangement. In all cases, however, the M.E.W.
Engineer's approval must be obtained before erecting any lighting mast or pole along
the medians.
All lighting masts and poles erection and before any grouting is performed shall be
vertically aligned. The Contractor shall have in his possession two theodolites for this
purpose which he shall simultaneously employ to have bearings from two right-
angled directions while correcting the vertical alignment of the masts and the poles.
The Ministry of Electricity and Water reserves the right to reject part or whole of the
installation in case masts and poles are not aligned properly.
Where refurbished units are to be relocated in their original position, new cables shall
be installed between the units and the control cabinets/feeder pillars, all in complete
lengths without any joint.
14.05.01 General
Earth continuity conductors for conduit wiring systems shall be of the same type as
specified under Clause 1404.03 of the General Specifications and shall be sized in
accordance with the relevant Ministry of Electricity and Water Regulations.
New earth bonding and grounding and lightning protection system shall be installed to
all refurbished lighting masts and poles.
Each individual section of a high mast shall be one piece only and sections jointed by
welding will not be acceptable. The masts shall be hot-dip galvanized, both internally
and externally to BS EN ISO 1461: 1999. All brackets and foundation bolt frames shall
be hot-dip galvanized.
The base compartments shall be fitted with an over-lapping type hinged doors and
high heat resistant silicon rubber gaskets having a minimum thickness of 4 mm. shall
be provided all around for weather-proofing to comply with the protection category of
minimum IP 33 to IEC: 529. The door openings shall be stiffened by minimum 80 mm.
wide and 10 mm. thick substantial steel frame all around projected inside and outside
and continuously welded throughout. The galvanized steel hinges shall be minimum 3
mm. thick and 3 Nos. of 80 mm. long hinges shall be provided for each door. The dia.
of the hinge pin shall be minimum 5 mm. and the hinge leaves shall be continuously
welded all around to the body of the mast and the door in an aesthetic manner subject
to Engineer's approval. The centre hinge shall be reversed to make the doors non-
removable The manufacturer shall submit a guarantee stating that the galvanized steel
hinges will not break within a period of twenty-five (25) years and if any hinge breaks
within this period, the same will be replaced free of charge.
Stainless steel hinges may be considered by the Engineer provided they are of a very
high quality and the Contractor is ready to submit a guarantee stating that the hinges
will not corrode in 25 (twenty-five) years time and if any corrosion occurs or any hinge
breaks within this period at whatever site conditions it may be, they
will replace and re-fix all hinges at no extra cost whatsoever. The stainless steel hinges
shall be of the same dimensions and thickness as stated above for the galvanized
steel hinges and shall be fitted to the body of the mast and the door by at least 2 nos.

The Contractor shall submit a guarantee from the manufacturer stating that the
designed life time of the high lighting masts is for minimum twenty-five (25) years at
Kuwaits extreme weather and wind conditions stipulated and if any lighting mast fails
within this period, the same will be replaced free of charge. Without the guarantee,
the high lighting masts will not be accepted.
All the 38, 35 and 30 metre masts shall be American, European or Japanese
manufactured only.
The lighting poles including all base compartment doors, brackets, anchor bolts,
frames, etc., shall be fabricated from high quality structural steel equivalent to or better
than Euronorm 25-72 Grade Fe 510B. The Grade of steel as per BS:4360 shall be
minimum 50B and the steel shall have a minimum tensile strength of 490 N/sq.mm.
and yield strength, 355 N/sq.mm. All poles shall be hot-dip galvanized, both internally
and externally to BS EN ISO 1461: 1999. All brackets and foundation bolt frames shall

be fixed to the flange plates of the 22 metre lighting poles. The size of the gusset
plates for 16 metre lighting poles shall be 180 mm x 90 mm x 10 mm (Th) which shall
be continuously welded to the body of the pole and the flange plate. The
Manufacturer's name, date of manufacture and the Contract No. shall be marked at the
front side of the flange plates with minimum 1 mm. deep engraving or punching.
The 22 metre lighting poles shall be provided with an additional earth terminal same as
the grounding system terminal for connecting the lightning protection conductor.
The Contractor shall submit a guarantee from the manufacturer stating that the
designed life time of the lighting poles is for minimum twenty-five (25) years at Kuwaits
extreme weather and wind conditions stipulated and if any lighting column fails within
this period, the same will be replaced free of charge. Without the guarantee, the
lighting poles will not be accepted.
14.09.03 10 Metre Lighting Pole with Brackets - Single arm and Double Arm
The pole shall be ten (10) metres in length, conical in shape, circular in cross section,
having spigot at the top and substantial flange plate at the bottom with a foundation
bolt frame. The shaft of the pole shall not be more than one section and the pole shall
be complete with one demountable bracket intended to hold 1 No. (for single arm) or 2
Nos (for double arms) 400 watts cut-off lanterns.
The lighting poles including all base compartment doors, brackets, anchor bolts,
frames, etc., shall be fabricated from high quality structural steel. The Grade of steel
as per BS:4360 shall be minimum 50B and the steel shall have a minimum tensile
strength of 490 N/sq.mm. and yield strength, 355 N/sq.mm. All columns shall be hot-
dip galvanized, both internally and externally to BS EN ISO 1461: 1999. All brackets
and foundation bolt frames shall be hot-dip galvanized.

with a continuously welded 25 mm. by 8 m steel frame all around the door opening.

extreme weather and wind conditions stipulated and if any lighting pole fails within this
period, the same will be replaced free of charge. Without the guarantee, the lighting
poles will not be accepted.
The Contractor shall submit a guarantee from the manufacturer stating that the lantern
is well designed for proper heat dissipation at Kuwait's extreme ambient temperature
conditions of 52 degrees average and the glass cover is made from high heat resistant
tampered glass. There will be no undue temperature rise inside during operation of
the lantern leading to breaking of the glass cover, loosening/softening/melting of the
gasket and any silicon paste used for the sealing purposes of the optical assembly,
failure of degree of protection, shortening of the lamp life, damage of any other parts
of the lantern and so on. Any lantern that will undergo any such problem within a
period of five (5) years will be replaced free of charge. Without the Guarantee, the
lantern will not be accepted.

The Ministry of Electricity & Water reserves its full right to ask the Contractor to
provide M/s. GE, USA manufactured 1000W high pressure sodium high mast
lantern, Type-HMAA01SYA 1GSC3 for the 38m, 35m and 30m high mast lighting
units under the project and he must provide this lantern for all the high mast
units without raise of any question.
The 1000 watt high pressure sodium lamps for the 38 metre, 35 metre and 30 metre
high lighting masts shall be suitable for operation in conjunction with an auto-regulator
ballast manufactured by General Electric (G.E.) U.S.A., having the following operating
characteristics.

The Contractor shall submit a guarantee from the lamp manufacturer stating that the
offered lamps will correctly and fully satisfactorily operate with an auto-regulator ballast
(GE Make) having operating characteristics as specified above.
The lamps shall be manufactured to the best modern practice and shall fully comply
with the latest relevant ANSI specifications.
The Contractor shall submit a guarantee from the manufacturer of the lamps to state
that any lamp that will fail or burn out within a period of two (2) years of operation will
be replaced free of charge. Without the guarantee, the lamps will not be accepted.
The Ministry of Electricity & Water reserves its full right to ask the Contractor to
provide M/s. GE, USA manufactured 1000W high pressure sodium lamp, Type-
LUCALOX LU1000 for the 38m, 35 m and 30m high masts under the project and
he must provide this lamp for all the high mast lighting units without raise of any
question.
14.11.01 400 Watt High Pressure Mercury Vapour Fluorescent Discharge Lanterns, Arm
Mounted
The overall dimensions of a 400 watt rated lantern must not be less than 850 mm (L) x
350 mm (W). The lanterns shall have bowl or dish type covers from glass material as
specified in Clause 14.11.01 of the Amendment No.1 to Section XIV and flat glass
covers are not acceptable.
The Contractor shall submit a guarantee from the manufacturer stating that the lantern
is well designed for proper heat dissipation at Kuwait's extreme ambient temperature
conditions of 52 degrees average and the glass cover is made from high heat resistant
tampered glass. There will be no undue temperature rise inside during operation of
the lantern leading to breaking of the glass cover, loosening/softening/melting of the
gasket and any silicon paste used for the sealing purposes of the optical assembly,
failure of degree of protection, shortening of the lamp life, damage of any other parts
of the lantern and so on. Any lantern that will undergo any such problem within a

The 400W high pressure sodium lamps shall be manufactured to the European
standard practice. The lamps shall comply with the IEC Publication No. 662 and shall
be fully suitable for operation in conjunction with a Ballast having operating
characteristics as specified in this IEC, and/or IEC Publication No. 923 except that the
Rated Voltage shall be 240 volts instead of 220 volts. The lamps shall be tubular in
shape with E-40 cap and clear type. The H.P.S. lamps shall operate in conjunction with
an external ignitor and lamps with built-in ignitors will not be accepted.
The Average Rated Life or the Life Expectancy of the lamps shall be considered as
the number of burning hours at 10 hours/start which have elapsed when 50 (fifty) per
cent of lamps from a large batch have failed.
The Contractor shall submit a guarantee from the manufacturer of the lamps to state
that any lamp that will fail or burn out within a period of two (2) years of operation will
be replaced free of charge. Without the guarantee, the lamps will not be accepted.

The performance requirements for lighting systems installed under the Contract shall
be as follows:
The above levels of lighting are the maintained values of the average road surface
luminance and illuminance. In order to maintain these levels, a depreciation
(maintenance factor) of 0.6 shall be used.
Where existing sign gantries are to be retained but the sign face panels replaced, the
Contractor shall disconnect the existing lanterns and shall install new lanterns in the
locations indicated on the Drawings. The Contractor shall include for the provision of
all necessary trunking, junction boxes, conduit, cabling etc. from the existing safety
switch to provide a complete lighting installation for the new sign face panels.
The Contractor shall inspect and test, in the presence of the Engineer, the existing
electrical circuitry to be retained and shall carry out any required repair work to the
existing installations.
The Contractor shall prepare, for the approval of the Engineer, the necessary
drawings, indicating all components, fixing details and cabling arrangements etc. All
proposals and materials shall be in accordance with the requirements of the relevant
Clauses of the Specifications.
Any damage to the galvanized finish of the sign gantries resultant from the
Contractor's operation shall be made good by the Contractor in accordance with
Clause 1401.13.3 of the Specifications.
The existing installations (lanterns, conduit, etc.) shall be abandoned unless their
removal is necessitated by installation of the new lighting facilities.
The overall dimensions of the control cabinets without canopy shall be 1700 mm (H) x
1000 mm (W) x 500 mm (D) and the sloping type canopy shall have a minimum depth
of 100 mm. at the centre. The enclosure shall be in one piece without any joint from
outside and a substantial base frame shall be provided at the bottom with all welding
from inside only. All four sides of the canopy shall be bent inside and welded
continuously with the body in an aesthetic manner. Any stitch welding for this
will not be accepted.
The control cabinet shall be provided with mounting panel and inside the feeder pillar,
a full length second door from minimum 1.5 mm. thick galvanized or electroplated
sheet steel with necessary slots for the operating knobs of the MCCBs and MCBs, to
prevent any accidental contact with bus-bars or other live material during
maintenance. The single leaf door shall be hinged to the body on its left hand side by
at least 4 Nos. of substantial stainless steel hinges and shall be closed on the right by
galv. steel captive screws.
The incoming and outgoing moulded case circuit breakers shall comply in all respects
to the IEC Publication No.947-2 and the value of the Breaking Capacities specified
shall be the Rated Service Short Circuit Breaking Capacity as per this IEC. The
electro-magnetic contactor shall fully comply to the IEC Publication No.947-4-1.
A high quality 13 Amp. power socket for maintenance and test equipment shall be
installed at an accessible location and shall be wired and connected together with a
single pole, 15 Amp. rated circuit breaker for protecting from overload. Also, one (1)
No. of 15 Amp. single pole and one (1) No. of 15 Amp. triple pole miniature circuit
breakers (MCB's) shall be provided for 24-hour power supply.
Each control cabinet shall be provided with a 120 mm. x 50 mm. non-corrosive metal
name plate at the front of the left had side door, engraved with details, like Type,
Rating, No. of outgoing ways etc. and Manufacturers Name, Ref. No. for easy

identification. Additionally, two (2) Nos. of 200 mm. x 150 mm. electrical danger signs
of approved type, also from non-corrosive metal plates shall be fixed on the control
cabinets, one on the right hand side door and the other at the back side of the control
cabinet.
The protective crush barrier for the control cabinets shall be constructed with steel
bollards as shown in the Contract Drawings.
As-built drawings shall be prepared with AutoCAD and submitted as indicated in the
Standard Specifications (One mother print of diaze polyester film and three white
paper prints) to the same scale as the working drawings. The Contractor shall also
submit the drawings in three (3) sets of Compact Discs. He should maintain a
continuous record of all the field deviations from the working drawings, if any, as
approved by the Engineer and shall incorporate these into the as-built drawings. The
locations of all handholes, road
ducts, routing of cables/cable ducts, their distance from the kerbsides as well as
feeding details of the feeder pillars, like Sub-station No., LT feeder, etc. shall be all
clearly indicated on the drawings. The drawings of all major items of equipment shall
also be provided together with a schedule detailing make, type rating etc. of all the
equipment and components therein. The Contractor shall also provide as-built
drawings to scale 1:2000 when asked by the Engineer.
14.25.05 Micro-Film
The Contractor shall supply the Ministry of Electricity and Water, with three (3) sets of
35 mm. Silver Halide micro-film aperture cards made from (as fitted or built) original
drawings. The front face of these aperture cards should be left blank and on the
reverse face, details like, Contractor's Name, Contract No., Project and Drawing Titles,
Drawing No., Reduction Ratio and Date shall be printed or typed directly on the cards.
Two samples of processed micro-film aperture card shall be submitted to the Ministry
for approval prior to final submission.

The Contractor shall prepare a complete and fully detailed inventory of each and every
item of street lighting equipment, accessories, drawings, etc. employed for the lighting
installation of the project and provide these information on computer diskettes in three
(3) complete sets.
The Contractor shall maintain the entire permanent lighting installations under the
Contract for period of TWO (2) YEARS AS A WARRANTY TO HIS WORKS from the
date of completion of the project. The maintenance works will be supervised by and
will be under the full control of the Ministry of Electricity & Water.
The Contractor shall carry out all repair works including attending to and rectifying all
faults and damage, howsoever they be caused and shall be responsible for the
replacement of all wear and tear items of all equipment. Any parts, accessories,
cables, control gears, control cabinet/feeder pillar components, lamps, fuses etc.,
which have been put out of service or otherwise damaged due to the contractors
negligence or which have failed or become defective due to material or manufacturing
faults shall be rectified and/or replaced by the contractor at no extra cost whatsoever.
The Contractor shall dismantle and transport to the Ministry of Electricity & Water store
any accidented lighting mast, pole or control cabinet/feeder pillar and collect from its
store and erect replacement mast, pole or control cabinet/feeder pillar complete with
all accessories as directed by the Engineer, all at his own expense.
Payment shall be at the rates inserted in the Bill of Quantities which rates shall include
for the reconditioning of the hoist assemblies and control equipment,
galvanization/paint repairs, cleaning of lanterns wiring and installation of new
component parts, rectification of all damage to existing equipment and thorough
cleaning of all component parts of the installation.
Reinstallation of the masts will be measured and paid off under Clause 1426.08 of the
Specifications.
Measurement for the removal of electrical cables shall be by the metre run for each
type of cable.

Payment shall be at the rate inserted in the Bill of Quantities and shall include for
excavation, backfilling, provision of pulleys or other approved devices, provision of
cable drums, cutting cables, tagging and marking, delivery to the Ministry of Electricity
and Water depot and disposal or re-use of any cable tiles.
Measurement for the removal of the existing control cabinets/feeder pillars shall be by
number and payment shall be at the rate inserted in the Bill of Quantities and shall
include for all work as specified in Clause 14.01.13.6

14.26.06 Earth Bonding and Grounding
There shall be no separate measurement and/or payment for grounding of masts and
structures for lighting protection, earth bonding jumpers and earth continuity
conductors. The cost of such items of work shall be incidental to the respective
related items.
Payment shall be at the rates inserted in the Bill of Quantities which rates shall include
for conduit, junction boxes, wiring, connections and all other items necessary to
provide a complete, safe and functional installation.
The cost of cable between the circuit breaker at the pole base and lanterns shall be
incidental to that of the light mast and there shall be no separate payment for this item.
There shall be no separate measurement or payment for the PVC conduit or metal
pipe sleeves embedded in foundations and other structures at cable crossings, which
shall be incidental to the cost of the related works.
Hot dip galvanized junction boxes and those designated concrete junction boxes,
installed in bridge structures for undercrossing or sign lighting shall not be measured
or paid for separately. Cost of such boxes shall be incidental to that of related
structures.
The Contractor shall reinstate power supplies to any existing lighting installations
which are interrupted by the removal of redundant installations. This work, which shall
include the installation of through joints and the extension of existing cables as
required, shall not be measured or paid for separately but will be considered as a
subsidiary obligation of the Contractor.
14.28 Spares
Additional items for supply of spare parts for electrical equipment are enumerated in
the Bill of Quantities for Section XIV. All spare parts and units shall be suitably boxed
or crated and placed in storage with adequate protection from adverse weather, where
directed by the Employer, in Kuwait. All spare parts and units shall be identical to and
by the same manufacturer as the units approved by the Engineer for use under this
Contract.
The Contractor shall provide all labour, tools, equipment and appurtenances to
carefully load, transport, unload and place all spares in storage and ultimately to hand
over to the Ministry of Electricity and Water. No materials boxes or crates shall be
stored directly on the ground or similar horizontal surface. The Contractor shall
provide all wood or concrete blocks as approved by the Engineer under all materials,
boxes or crates. All materials, crates or boxes shall be suitably identified as spares for
Contract No. RA/106 First Ring Road.
