READING COMPREHENSION: THE FORTUNE TELLER

Melanie is consulting a fortune teller. Read the dialogue and then answer the questions

Fortune teller: What would you like to know, my dear?

Melanie: Well, yesterday I received a job offer, should I accept

it?

Fortune teller: Hmm, let me see I can see youre not working
at the moment

Melanie: Exactly, Im looking for a job

Fortune teller: I can see that youre a very creative girl

Melanie: Well, yes I am, I like writing and painting.. but this position is in an export company
it doesnt sound very creative..

Fortune teller: And in fact I can see its not the right job for you. You should not accept it.

Melanie: But I need to work! Im 29 years old and Im still living with my parents!

Fortune teller: Sorry, dear, that will be twenty pounds
