This painting is displayed in El Amigo Caf. The
artists full name is unknown but a signature
JosePhil is found in the painting.

Traditional Art

This artwork falls under traditional art


because it depicts a culture or tradition of
Buddhism. The artist is also unknown.
Applied/ Decorative Art
They have a utilitarian function and are used
as displays due to their unique and aesthetic
designs.

SHAPE
These artworks contain different types of shape such as geometric, organic and
irregular.

Contemporary Fine Art

This artwork is done by another COPVA student and


is currently displayed in the SU hall second floor. This
is a wood model of Dumaguete Citys famous bell
tower.

Kitsch
This painting is a replica of Salvador Dalis
The Persistence of Memory but the artist
added some characters of the cartoon series
Adventure Time. Different shapes can be
found in this painting and is used as a
decoration or display in El Amigo Caf.
Traditional Art
This sculpture depicts Chinese tradition and contains different shapes.
This statue is currently displayed outside Lee Super Plaza mall. The
artist is unknown.

Applied/Decorative Art
This artwork is a good example of a
house decoration. Different shapes
can be identified.

COLOR
This element attracts the attention of many audiences. It usually
contains the primary colors and secondary colors.

University. It depicts present styles of art and the artist used
different colors to attract the interest of the viewers.

This painting is displayed in El Amigo Caf and the full


name of the artist is unknown but a JTabs signature is
found in the painting.

This is an artwork displayed besides the Silliman


University Hall and was made by a COPVA
student. The materials used are traditional and it has
different types of vibrant and dull colors.

and the artist used different colors
as a good design for the
masterpiece.

The artworks under this element have a unique quality of
feels whenever it is touched.

displayed besides the Silliman University
Hall.

This statue is made out of marble that gives
unique texture.

This masterpiece is
made by melting different colors of
crayons. The texture can be identified
when you touch the melted crayons. This
is made by a COPVA student.

found in the market. A project made by the
talented COPVA students. The clay model is
another form of texture.

Form is either a 3 dimensional or 2 dimensional artwork and it has a
shape.

located outside the NDNB building.

A sculpture having 3 dimensions.

COPVA student to look like a cute monster.

This is currently displayed in the COPVA
building.

Contemporary Fine Art
The colors used in the shading are
equal. The darkness of red and the
lightness of the color white.

Traditional Art
This artwork shows a painting
of a jeepney that depicts the
country Philippines. The
lightness and darkness of color
in the painting shows value.
Kitsch
This is an artwork by Louie Gabucan
from Siquijor. His painting shows
different values of colors. The colors
differ from dark green to lighter shades
of green.

Applied/ Decorative Art


This artwork also shows an element
value because of its different shading
and mixture of colors.

SPACE
Contemporary Fine
Art
This artwork represents
negative and positive
space. The white color
can be positive and red
as the negative space.
Traditional Art
The jeepney that is being focused
is referred to as the positive space
while the rest of the background is
the negative space.

The main focus of this artwork is the
person that is painted in black. The
person itself is considered to as space and
its red background is a negative space.

artist with CMano signature.

This art contains a lot of space. You can
see a lot of emptiness in it just like the
white eyes, the mouth, its whole body and
the horns.
