SEWING INSTRUCTIONS
Cut the pattern based on the instructions printed on each pattern piece
-Front-cut 1 on fold (use fabric marker on this piece to differentiate the front pattern piece from the back)
-Back- cut 1 on fold
-Sleeve- cut 2
-Belt- cut 2 on fold

-With right sides together, pin the back to the front at the side seams, leaving 6.5 open 4 from the bottom,
sew sides together.
-Attach the sleeves, matching each sleeve end to the corresponding front and back pieces and sew together.
Working on the wrong side of the fabric, sew the length of the belt and one side of the width closed.
Turn the belt right side out, iron flat and baste the ends. Place the basted end into the 6.5 opening at the side
seam, matching up with the seam allowance. Sew the seam closed, making sure you reinforce the ends.
-Fold the neck line and sleeves over 1.5 to the inside to make a casing for the elastic. Sew a casing leaving
an opening for the elastic. Feed the elastic through the casing, checking for a proper and comfortable fit
before stitching the elastic. Once the fit is proper, stitch and reinforce the elastic. Close the casing opening.
-Finish the bottom hem and sleeve hem by turning up the hem 1/4 twice and machine or hand stitching
if you dont have a serger.
