The dangers of Reiki

Some claim that what they love most about Reiki is that it has no side effects and causes
no harm. As a former Reiki practitioner I can tell you that this is far away from the truth.
Reiki is not so great and innocent as we were led to believe.

Reiki practitioners are taught certain symbols (which are actually summoning certain forces) and are
led to believe that they need to open themselves and become a channel for some powerful universal
energy that resides outside them, and then direct this channel to their clients for healing purposes.

How mistaken we are

The most powerful source that exists resides inside us and not outside us. Every time we make an
agreement with something outside us, we give a part of our power away.

Reiki is not without side effects.

Symbols that are used in Reiki open inter-dimensional doors and if you are a Reiki practitioner you
have been hooked into powerful forces that are now working through you and are having an access
through you to your clients. And these forces have their own agenda. And no, it is not a healing one.
Healing is just a candy that you have been given in order to have let yourself to step into it.

So youd like to heal your life and feel empowered?

If you want to become healthy, free and empowered, there is no way you will get to this point by
seeking for help at outside forces and letting them in.

Yup, the same goes for ayahuasca or any other psychotropic substance, no matter how natural they
are. It is much more complex topic to be explained and I will not go into details since the subject here
is Reiki, but let me just say that everything we need is inside us.

The main point is: we either go within or we go without. More that we bring in, more
disempowered we become. And more we are without.

The only way is to stop giving your power away and start using the strongest force that exists your
Spirit which resides in you. That very force that IS everything, that CREATES everything the very
same force that we seem to be programmed to ignore the most.

Ive been initiated in Reiki what now?

Every agreement or agreement of entrapment that you have made is valid for ever until you decide
to brake it..

Yes, during Reiki initiations you have made agreements with outside forces that have so
conveniently (for them) fooled you to let them in. You might have even perceived them during your
process, but was led to believe that, oh yes, it was really that beautiful angel wrapping their wings
around you that you were feeling.

Well, what you have NOT been told was the truth about what was really happening during
your initiation. The vast majority of Reiki practitioners that perform initiations are not aware of this
(or they dont want to be!), and some are. And even if they are, for some strange reason they still
choose to perform them. My guess would be that they keep on with it because they must feel that
theyve had invested so much into their names and their businesses that are reluctant to tel the truth
and be in risk of maybe loosing it all. /

So what you need to do is to go back in time and break those agreements on all levels and all
dimensions, and take out the forces that got the access into your field.

Ive only had a Reiki session

Do not fool yourself. You may not be a Reiki practitioner but you might very well ha d a Reiki
session. Oh yes, it might have even been a very relaxing and has helped you a lot. But be assured
that, since youve made an agreement with your Reiki practitioner, during your session you have
been hooked to those outside forces that had the access to your practitioner

The Untold Dangers of Reiki Initiations

The modern or new age ways of healing (during the last twenty years) for me have begun to take on a
new look and meaning. There are numerous forms of training and therapists that offer to help cure
ailments of which many are doing some excellent work in healing the mind, body and soul.

Throughout my development as a Spiritual Healer and working as an energy guide I have often come
across and met both Reiki teachers and healers in various countries throughout the world. I was never
taken to follow that particular way of healing because it did not feel that it was the right path for me to
follow. As my knowledge of healing grew through insights and experiences I slowly became aware that
there was something wrong with the Reiki methods of initiating people to become healers.

Over the last twenty-five years I have been invited to work with some Reiki masters in order to help them
understand the ways of Spiritual Healing because they wished to explore and develop this natural way of
healing. I have been asked to take part as an observer of Reiki initiations to study the energy fluctuations
that took place during the various levels of initiations.

Through my own inner development I have been given the gift to see energies on all levels. This gave me
insight into what was taking place with the energies during a Reiki initiation. It became clear that there
was something wrong because it created interference in various parts of the energy fields in initiates,
particularly with certain chakra centers. From this insight I understood that my inner feelings about the
Reiki system was now being confirmed. After working with a Reiki master as an adviser for some
months, I realised that I could no longer continue to support this form of energy work.
During the past twenty-five years I have healed many Reiki initiates in various countries who have been
out of balance due to the initiation methods used. Up until now I have not expressed my deeper
reservations about this method of initiating and healing. This opportunity to share my truth has been
brought on in part by my healing four separate individuals who have been damaged in various ways by
the Reiki initiation methods. Individually they sought my help within two weeks of each other. This also
confirmed my inner suspicions that the Reiki system of implanting energies and opening people up to
their frequencies is severely flawed. I was now beginning to understand on a deeper level how Reiki was
dangerous for many (but not all) who were seeking this healing method, which also includes the
unaware Reiki teachers and Masters.

As I understand it to be today the system of Reiki initiations carries danger for some people and no one is
talking about it, particularly the ones giving initiations, which could be for a number of reasons; such as
the teachers themselves being unaware of the impurities that the symbols hold.
The majority of Reiki masters and teachers that I have met do not understand the power, depth and the
relevance of what they are doing, as in opening people up to the universal forces through the implants (as
in symbols) that are given during initiations.

The forces and powers that are awakened and placed within any individual during a Reiki initiation do
have long lasting effects. Once placed within someones energies, which includes the chakras, etheric
body and aura, the consequences of this can be extremely negative for some people. The symbols and
energies that have been established and fixed into the energy field of an individual during initiation
can be difficult but not impossible to remove.

I feel strongly about what I have been experiencing through healing and removing the energies from those
who have received Reiki initiations. I feel that people need to know what can go wrong with such
initiations and why! I will explain more deeply about what I understand to be the dangerous flaws within
the system of Reiki.

Dangers of Reiki:

Reiki was developed by Dr Mikao Usui in the 1920s, and was brought from Japan to the west in 1937.
The Reiki system has moved along with the flow of demand also; for example some thirty years ago to
obtain masters degree in Reiki took a much longer time i.e. years and not just a few weekends. Also the
cost of a masters degree then was much higher. Today to become a master on paper takes but three
weekends at little cost. Not that cost has anything to do with the qualification, it simply means that the
lower cost has opened the door to many more people taking initiations. This I feel is part of the watershed
of Reiki whereby the system itself creates teachers of little knowledge who are looking for people to
come on their courses, hence the drop in the price of courses and standards too! These two factors I
believe have a great deal to do with the imbalances that I continually meet within Reiki initiates.

It is unfortunate but true to say that in these times of human spiritual development there is such a rush to
seek knowledge regarding the various healing practices. To a great extent most therapy trainings take a
responsible approach and are well balanced, and address healing in a holistic manner. However, I see the
Reiki method of teaching as the Mc Donalds of the healing world. It is as if one drives in for a Reiki
initiation, picks it up and then drives out again in break neck speed. And this is done in three short
initiations after which one becomes a master. This concept to me is ludicrous and downright dangerous,
but sadly many people believe it to be true, which is part of the difficulties that people face whilst
searching for spiritual development, which begs the question; who does one believe and trust; the
spiritually minded person surly cannot mislead me or indeed harm me?

One cannot nor does one become a master healer in three short teachings, especially where there is very
little depth taught regarding the many levels of energy fields that every human being holds. It is my
understanding that Reiki initiations pay little attention in teaching how energies work through universal
laws. Most people are not ready to receive implants into a few chakra points that are given during an
initiation, which in my opinion is extremely dangerous in itself.

Like all things that the human-being creates it can become corrupted. From experiences I have
become aware that the Reiki symbols have been corrupted by dark forces which give access into
individuals energy fields through the Reiki initiations. Due to this fact I felt that I had to write this article
to raise the consciousness regarding this method!
From my understanding lets take a look at why and how the system is flawed. For me the reasons are
quite clear after treating so many people with similar complaints after receiving Reiki initiations, which
has also prompted me to write this article!
1: There is very little background information sought regarding the initiate. Every individual should be
interviewed to assess their possible response to the initiations.
2: Little or no energy assessment is done on the person prior to an initiation. With every breath our
energy changes as it does from day to day. Is the Reiki teacher able to tell if any given individual in an
initiating group is emotionally and mentally balanced or imbalanced? A person could become very low in
energy (such as depressed) prior to the initiation or during the initiation; if this were the case then they
would be in danger of being overcharged or negatively influenced by the initiation. The input of energy
could cause some damage where there is weakness, which could take a number of days to rebalance. I
have seen this fact being ignored time after time during Reiki initiations; which is usually passed on by
saying you will be OK after the initiation, as it can only do you good or your energies are rebalancing
themselves, you will be OK in an hour or so. This is an extremely dangerous approach!
3: Some Reiki teachers and Masters dont have deeper insight of energy awareness. This is a key factor
and is probably where the greatest weakness lays. If any given Reiki teacher or Master is unable to read
and interpret energies on this level then they are also working blindly and in my opinion should not
initiate anyone until they have developed their higher senses to be able to respectfully read the energies of
an initiate.
This is a very valid point to make here because the Reiki initiations places various symbols of power
into chakra points. These key symbols can and do have tremendous effects upon the various energy
fields of individuals; such as the etheric body, charka points and the various mental bodies.

It is true to say that throughout my healing those damaged by Reiki initiations, most have had chakra
imbalances where a dark force is blocking the natural flow of the souls light, and in some cases the mental
body has been opened and is not truly aligned. The reason is quite clear to see and I cannot understand
why no Reiki teacher has opened themselves up to this truth. Which also begs the question why?

The reason for the chakra damage is that each of the Reiki initiating symbols are resonating with
specific forces due to their geometrical shape, meaning that each symbol is vibrating at a certain
frequency, which is a key point to make here. As Souls we each have a unique vibration which
comes from the light source, our Star and universal consciousness. This is a very exact science that
is true to universal forces; which is why any Reiki symbols placed within an individuals energy
system do not naturally resonate with the souls vibration, which is why it can take a number of
days for the souls vibration to adjust to the new implant.
The danger is that if one or more of those symbols used in any given Reiki initiation do not readily
resonate with the Soul colours or any given chakra point in the energy field of the initiate; then that
person is in danger of being damaged or imbalanced. What can happen is that the force of the symbol may
start to physically shake the person for a period of time, and can actually break through a chakra centers
protective web and cause further damage.
What are the implications of this for the initiated? This in turn leads to the chakra or chakras being
damaged or blocked. It can create a leaking of the chakra energy, hence a loss of energy, which is another
symptom of imbalance that is often followed by pain in the physical body, or in the very least the initiate
will feel tired for a period of time directly after the initiation.
The greatest danger lies in the fact that: for example the emotional chakra and the mental body have
been disturbed by this initiation, then that person is in danger of being influenced by one of the darker
forces that have corrupted the Reiki system. An example is that the dark force can block the heart energy.
This I have seen on a number of occasions, but why?

The chakra system within each individual is perfect in its creation and are held in place by universal laws.
The universal flow of energy within everyone is connected to all energy fields that resonate with the
Souls light frequency, such as the aura, etheric body and chakras. As the consciousness opens and one
begins to explore spiritual values, it naturally seeks knowledge and wisdom that will nourish the spirit and
soul. This is where Reiki often seems to fit the bill for many, chiefly because its a quick fix and secondly
it requires little or no knowledge of esoteric science and how subtle energies work and impact the
physical body.

Reiki initiations go into the chakra system, which are in direct contact with the crown chakra, the
door to higher consciousness. It is during those moments that if anyones whole chakra system is not
in balance (some chakras are often more open than others in the developing person) the input of
energy and the force of it upon one or more of the chakras can have a negative effect.
In ones natural balance all chakra points should be open and working at relatively the same speed to
create harmony within, if not then they produce disharmony. Disharmony can be created by directing too
much power into only one or two chakra points at any given time, as is done in Reiki initiations. This can
create a hole in those chakras energy or even in the aura through which negative energies are able to
enter. This is one reason why so many individuals begin to hear voices after such initiations. The
explanation that is usually given by the teacher is it is your Spirit Guide talking or your healing spirit
waiting to channel through you. This is very often not the case because it takes time, patience and
discipline to develop the higher chakras in order to meet ones True Spirit Guide
Individuals who are drawn towards Reiki are naturally seeking their own spiritual development. This
means that they have reached a Karmic point in their continuing search for truth, love and light in order to
serve for the greater good. But it is important to remember at this vital point the individual can be
influenced by the dark forces of the Ego, which is often an unconscious act of I want it now, I want to
be a healing Master. This is one of the main reasons why people are lured into Reiki as an identity, but
often with no real experience of energy awareness or depth of healing.
The dark side is the ego-self that I refer to here, which I understand has corrupted Reiki, and I
believe is continuing to lower the consciousness of Reiki itself. This is the slippery road that leads to
many Reiki teachers having little knowledge of universal laws and truths about spirit beings and guides.
It is wise to understand that not every spirit that connects during meditation, channeling or initiation is
necessarily a light guide or spirit. If any teacher or initiator is unable to connect and see such spirit forms
during an initiation then they are unable to challenge those energies or more importantly remove them,
which is where there is a greater risk of being infected.

From this point of view ignorance and ego has won the day and the dark force can access and influence
the individuals energy fields due to an opening being created by the initiation method. This fact is of great
concern to me because if it continues the dark forces will access peoples energy fields through the Reiki
symbol. These dark force are aware of how universal laws work, and will use them for their gain. All dark
forces seek to disturb those seeking the light through Reiki initiations; this is how it works on that level.
The dark forces will do everything within their power to disturb the progress of Love and Light being
established in individual souls and in the World in general.

Another key point that I wish to make here is that if this continues to grow it will touch more and more
Souls; this in turn will continue to bring the worlds vibration down into the negative due to the controlling
methods of the dark forces. All dark forces live off fear and are vampires of etheric energy field.
It must be said that not every teacher or Reiki Master is corrupt or dark, many are not, which is due to
their soul development being beyond the negative influences of the Reiki system.
Review:
What I am stating here is that I believe the whole aspect of Reiki needs to be looked at from a much
deeper level than is presently being accepted by both teachers and initiates. It is a good thing to have
belief and faith but when we are dealing with forces that have no respect for love and light then there is a
danger of being complacent, laid back or even too sure of oneself.
The path of learning is endless as is our spiritual growth. I ask all to be open to the facts and truth
as I understand it to be through my own experiences in this area. I trust that all light workers will
join forces to harmonies the Earth and our Universe through love, light and joy through mutual
respect.

We are living in strong times and our learning curves are becoming stronger also, which requires greater
awareness. I trust that through reading the above with an open heart and mind that some progress may be
made towards liberating those of you who may have been influenced by the Reiki system or are seeking
greater knowledge of the workings of Reiki.

What You Should Know About Reiki

There are millions of Reikians active all around the world, from the hospital to the
beauty parlour, both Christians and New Age healers, believing that they are helping
others with the healing Reiki power of Jesus.

Reikians often get into great difficulties due to their lack of knowledge and unpermitted
entries into the spiritual realm and demonic bondages which clearly would lead anyone
further away from God, rather than, as Reikians believe, closer to Him by doing good
works and healing people.

The Bible tells us how the spiritual world operates in the form of the demonic to
influence and to connect themselves with humans and the healing system of Reiki
energy is a tool that Satan and his demons use mightily in this world these days.

The Bible says clearly: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood (people) but against
principalities, against powers (the spirit/demonic world) against the rulers of the
darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Eph 6:12)

Testimony from an ex-Reiki master

Although Reiki can initially provide healing and a sense of peace, it didnt seem to work
for many Reikians Ive met over the years and I saw one after the other get into personal
difficulties after several years being active with Reiki and the New Age and seeing many
short-term healings. It took me some time to realise I had become one of them. Then I
met Jesus Christ and I was set free and baptised, and after 12 years of being an active
Reiki master, I became a new creation, praise the Lord.

In 2006 there were about 60 million Reikians, 19 million websites about various forms
of Reiki. [Today, in 2013, a Google search for Reiki returns 55 million results.] Reiki
masters invite people to be like Jesus, by also becoming a Reiki master and deceived
Christians testify that Reiki worked and brought them closer to God.

Many go into Reiki believing they will learn the same healing method as Jesus used by
the laying on of hands. Unfortunately people do not realise that there is no biblical basis
for Reiki, and by practising it they take themselves away from the Cross and the healing
blood of Jesus, and put themselves under sin, and more Old Testament demonic
bondages than they bargained for, which results more and more in disobedience to God
and legal grounds for the demonic.

Yes, Reiki works it heals but you will end up with a whole heap of
trouble
Reiki is a healing system purportedly using Reiki energy; spiritual life force energy
known as the Usui method of natural Reiki healing. As most people are told that Jesus
used Reiki to heal, many Christians think nothing of using Reiki.

There are various different competing Reiki denominations, but in general it is said that
Reiki energy is activated by the laying on of hands, channelling the Reiki energy to
yourself or others.

This is made possible because someone took a Reiki seminar, paid for it and got opened
spiritually through the Reiki rituals of the Reiki master. After that the Reiki energy
starts flowing automatically whenever you place your hands on somebody, thus
channelling the Reiki energy through oneself to the other person, always receiving Reiki
whilst giving Reiki to others, for protection and as a blessing. Following daily self-
treatments with Reiki, further spiritual growth and an increasing addiction to Reiki is
guaranteed.

When a healing occurs they give the glory to Reiki, Oh no, I cant heal you, Reiki did,
and if you want to learn this as well. Often through a Reiki healing testimony people
are drawn to the first Reiki level. Around 65% of these are women, who frequently take
interested friends with them.

In the second level of Reiki, sending Reiki over a distance and increasing power is aimed
for. The sending of Reiki willingly to a distant person is done by writing a Reiki symbol
and calling the name of the spirit of this symbol three times, and the persons name to
whom you want to send the Reiki energy, and then concentrating on the Reiki energy
flow.

This can take 5 to 30 minutes and will give the sender a revelation, to which more Reiki
can be sent and the receptor, when sensitive enough, will feel warm and sleepy. This can
really work and apparent healings or short-term improvements are an undeniable fact.
One can be sending Reiki to past or present situations, to heal or even to ask
forgiveness, but this is not done in the name of Jesus.

The highest Reiki level is a Reiki master, who dedicates his life to healing and passing
Reiki on through Reiki seminars. Through many years of practice in Reiki, along with
combinations of occult and New Age beliefs and practices, their Reiki power is much
greater.

Sometimes they have paid fees of up to USD 10,000 to become a Reiki

master
Their calling is to get as many people connected with Reiki as possible and they are
paid for this. Some travel a great deal, asking help from their pupils to organize a Reiki
seminar. When older, they start living together in groups, or develop their own Reiki
system and organization.

There is a grandmaster, the spiritual heir of the discoverer of Reiki (Dr Usui), Mrs
Phyllis Furumoto, a Japanese American, who travels worldwide. She is not worshipped,
nor does she have any power but she is respected, and she gives guidelines of how to
practice Reiki. Despite having practised Reiki since she was a child, Mrs Furumoto blogs
about her serious health problems and those of her cousin who also practices Reiki.

People can be bound up and addicted by Reiki and cannot see any substitute or any
spiritual improvement good enough to replace Reiki. Until they run into ser ious
problems, financial or otherwise, or become ill, and cry out for help sometimes to
Christians or go to churches, when they can get saved, meet Jesus Christ and come
home to God.

But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor
handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending
ourselves to every mans conscience in the sight of God. (2 Cor 4:2)

The Reiki Promotion

Reiki is defined on their own FAQ page as follows:

Rei as it is used in Reiki is more accurately interpreted to mean supernatural

knowledge or spiritual consciousness, universal good. This is thought to be the God
consciousness which is all-knowing.
Ki equals the vital personal life force, used in meditative breathing exercises, Chinese
martial arts, and by the shamans of all cultures. This is to activate, in uniting the
universal with the personal, the divine psychic awareness, with manifestation and
healing.

Life force energy is known as qi or chi in China, or ki in Japan, and prana in India. It is
also sometimes called universal energy. No matter what any teacher or practitioner tells
you, according to the Bible this is divination. Also according to the Bible, and according
to God, divination is linked with sorcery, enchantments, and other practices.

There are not just a few passages in the Bible which make it clear that these things are
an abomination to God, but many, and here is just one: And when they shall say unto
you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that
mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? (Isaiah 8:19)

The Bible forbids divination because it involves lusting for secret knowledge that God
has not chosen to reveal. The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things
revealed belong to us and to our sons forever, that we may observe all the words of this
law.

It is said people are not born with this healing gift of Reiki, but anybody can learn it.
Reiki wont harm you, it will heal you, it will lead you into spiritual paths, it will protect
you and support you. It is said Reiki was used by Jesus and you will be doing good
things and helping people. While this could logically appear to be true, it actually is not
true. Reiki is not mentioned in the Bible rather it is the invention of a Buddhist monk.

People who are practicing Reiki are generally deceived and unaware that they are calling
upon spirits when sending Reiki or initiating others. Reikians invite spirits or demons
by means of drawing the Japanese symbol of the specific demon and invite them by
calling their name three times, thus sending Reiki energy to someone. Or by means of
the same symbols, initiating someone spiritually into Reiki by ritually opening accesses
for these spirits so the flow of the Reiki energy can come through.

Reikians are deceived by the manifestations and personal wellbeing in the short term,
but they are not aware of the implications of sin and the wrath of God and demonic legal
grounds, until their mental or physical health breaks down. (2 Cor 4:3-4)

Dai-Ko-Myo Principal demon ruler

The initiating Reiki symbol of any Reiki master is called Dia Ko Mio and is held secret
and holy by a Reiki master. This is a Reiki master spirit who is summoned to open and
connect someone to Reiki as a Reiki channel during Reiki initiations. Its name is
Phoenix who rises out of the ashes. It is only the Reiki master who knows which
symbol and names to use and how, when he is already initiated himself. He has
already paid a lot of money and been deeply involved with Reiki for many years. He
finally is a Reiki master and now doesnt give it a second thought who this spirit is, or
simply doesnt know. Reiki works, Reiki heals, people get healed and because I am doing
good, I stand well with God, I have the power now, I am happy, so?

Hon-Sha-Ze-Sho-Nen Contacting spirit

This is a second Reiki level symbol and spirit, for making contact over any distance to a
person or situation. Meaning from my Buddha to your Buddha or from my divinity
to yours which works like placing an old fashioned long distance telephone call. Is also
used during all the initiations and written into the hand during the Reiki ritual for the
second degree of Reiki.

Sei-He-Ki Guiding spirit

This is a second Reiki level symbol and spirit, for influencing the subconscious levels, to
heal addictions etc. In general it is not thought of anymore but, when you know how, it
can be used for the manipulation of people. Its working will reveal a lot about people
and situations and it feeds the revelation into the third eye. This symbol is also used in
all Reiki initiations and written in the hand.

Tjoko-Rei Principal spirit

This is a second Reiki level symbol and spirit is used for activating the Reik i energy on a
person hands-on or for sending Reiki. When used hands-on, it is to increase the Reiki
power which is flowing already into a person. Meaning god come here, ordering the
Reiki spirits to act. It is very powerful.

These are the main Reiki demons, encountered in the traditional Reiki, with every Reiki
initiation in any Reiki degree and used from the second Reiki level up to send Reiki
energy or to intensify the Reiki energy whilst laying on hands. However because Reiki
mixes well with every other occult system, there are many different Reiki forms which
are using other Reiki symbols with their mantras, and/or names.

Every Reiki master is free to start its own healing system, mixing Reiki with well you
name it. There are gurus who started Osho-Reiki or Bagwan-Reiki, Saibaba-Reiki, Yoga-
Reiki, or experienced Reiki masters who started Karuna-Reiki, Harbori, Rainbow, etc.,
but the basic demons of Reiki and the initiation rituals are found in all of them.

When a Reikian repents and accepts Jesus Christ as Lord they would normally
be led into renunciation, repentance and acceptance. After they have renounced
everything and repented then the spirits should be rebuked in the Name of Jesus. Then
asking the Holy Spirit asked to take their place and fill the person completely so that the
kingdom of God comes upon them!
Before praying for deliverance, or receiving deliverance from someone else, the person
should write all these names and terms down, so during prayer time it will be easier to
go through them casting them out or renouncing them.

Legion will often be encountered (Luke 8: 30) when people were confronted with a lot
of rituals or themselves were deeper into the occult practices, which is logical as they are
regrouping to have more impact. This demon has been encountered during deliverance,
after many Reikians had been sending Reiki, by their symbols, rituals and meditation, to
a person or group, usually to change and/or control a situation.

The Bible is clear

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking
rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came
out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and
taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and
dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also
unto this wicked generation. (Matt 12:43-45)

Here are three practical examples with Reikians, all different because of
their different levels of involvement with the occult
Testimony of Tony, an inactive Reikian of 2nd level who used Reiki mostly
for himself
I was dared into going to a Pentecostal Church of my old Christian friend JL. I didnt
like the idea but was curious because of the many testimonies Ive had heard through
the years, about Jesus is alive. My friend JL kept on talking about his spiritual life with
Jesus, and going on and on about it. I liked using Reiki now and then, on myself and my
loved ones, and Reiki was for me a big spiritual experience. I never dreamed to meet
Jesus.

When I came into church something powerful hit me, I felt scared and very uneasy, but
my friend JL said; God loves you and touches you now. Relax, youre home. But during
the worship it became stronger than me, wow Then I heard a voice deep inside of me ,
a Bible verse I never knew, and when I told my friend he showed me that verse in the
Bible. Wow, God talking to me. It gave me clarity and confirmation, but I was
completely surprised to meet Jesus, alive. Luckily my friend gave me all the answers and
explanation I needed, to calm me down a bit.

In my life I had already some special spiritual experiences but this beats it all, God
touched me, God was really there and after service I came forward and gave my life to
Jesus.

JLs testimony about Tony

I testified a lot to Tony each time Ive met him, and invited him several times to come to
a Pentecostal service. As a non-active Catholic and Reikian, he still was looking for God
but couldnt understand He was to be found in a church. So, I dared him testifying about
the Holy Spirit touching us every week. After the service we went forward to the pastor
to tell him that Tony wanted to give his live to Jesus.

Tony was clearly touched by God and very emotional, and I tried to calm him down
through prayer and answering as much as possible about what was going on in the
service. I rejoiced when he decided to come forward to the pastor to accept Jesus Christ.
But when Tony repented and accepted the Lord, something seem to be blocked and he
was in deep anguish. After we rebuked the spirits of Reiki by name, Dai-Ko-Myo, Hon-
Sha-Ze-Sho-Nen, Sei-He-Ki, and Tjoko-Rei, in the name of Jesus and asked the Holy
Spirit to replace and fill Tony anew, he had peace, and cried with joy, praise God!

Testimony and salvation of an active Reiki master and member of the

renowned Reiki Alliance International
I loved going to the Sunday worship at my Pentecostal Church, it did me so much good
although I wasnt reborn yet and had left Reiki altogether two years before. I loved it,
during the service I felt loved renewed and many times set free. Later in the week I slid
back and so I was looking forward to next Sunday again. I loved Jesus, I honoured
Jesus, I worshipped and felt happy. But when I placed my hands on myself, Reiki was
instantly working again, and when I thought about someone or something I instantly
had insight. This puzzled me. Which was a blessing from the Lord and which was Reiki?
And why was this still happening to me?

Slowly, I learned how to read the Bible and to pray, I talked to pastors and to
intercessors. Reiki is not of God, they said. But I couldnt believe that, especially as I was
a living proof of this combination, I thought. Reiki was still active in me after accepting
Jesus and going regularly to church. Although there were still some major spiritual
attacks during the week, which I more or less could cope with, in the name of Jesus
Christ. And on Sunday whilst worshipping or praying I was again being set free.

After a couple of months, I didnt feel as if I was getting any more attacks. Then after
learning the principals of what it meant to become a born again Christian, I immediately
decided to go ahead with planning to be baptised. For my church brothers and sisters it
was quite a battle, and the two pastors who agreed to baptise me became ill and there
was a lot of praying needed. But I felt good about my decision, I loved Jesus and had so
many supernatural experiences already, I couldnt wait to come home to my Lord and
Saviour.

The definite proof for me that Reiki is not of Jesus Christ, thus not from God, was
when I was being baptised and immersed completely in the water, I rose up and we
prayed to be Holy Spirit filled. From that precise moment on, Reiki stopped flowing
through my hands, it was gone forever and instead the Holy Spirit stepped in. I could
neither receive Reiki during the laying on of hands as I had the last twelve years, nor
send Reiki with the symbols, so all the initiations made up to the third degree or Reiki
master degree were made redundant.
Thus, Reiki isnt of Christ, nor did Jesus ever use Reiki, otherwise Reiki
would have stayed but it left forever, defeated. Then I knew for sure and I was
set free through the Mercy of God by my Lord Jesus Christ, Lord and my Redeemer. HE
IS THE LORD OF LORDS, HALLELUJAH!
Miriams Testimony
Miriam was for many years a born again baptised Christian, who often came forward for
prayers as she was not feeling well. She had some deliverance, because of a difficult
youth and life, but kept on going astray. She could not really distinguish between all the
teachings and voices, and although faithful in her heart and in church, over the years
she made no real progress.

When she came into repentance and we prayed through the deliverance book of the first
Reiki degree chapter, she was set free. The old gates of the Enemy, through which they
still found access, were closed and Reiki was broken, in Jesus name. There is more
clarity and she has found more peace. She improved a great deal, praise the Lord.

It is important to get clear about the occult nature of Reiki. Reikians often feel that they
are being condemned by Christians. In fact it is between them and God and not between
Christians or the Church and Reikians. Reiki is spiritual and it does work, at least
superficially and temporarily, but is not divine, not of Jesus, and not of God. Reikians
dont see any difference between angels and fallen angels, and they are blinded to seeing
the difference between serving God and serving Reiki, and between giving hon our to
God and honouring Reiki after each healing. They cant discern between Reiki as the
life-force energy and acknowledging God, who is our Father and His Son, Lord Jesus
Christ, who is so much more than their concept of god, the universe, or the cosmos.

To learn Reiki is simple. In every Reiki seminar, after payment, the student is led into a
separate room, the Reiki ritual is performed to open the student as a channel for Reiki,
whatever the Reiki degree. The pupils dont know that Reiki has already be en sent to
them before the seminar, to the room, and spiritually to the situation, so that all has
been endowed with Reiki.

The Reiki student and master is unaware that it is sinful to sit before a homemade altar
[idolatry], with pictures of dead Reiki masters [spiritism], various objects, candles,
incense [honouring spirits], praying for, paying for and accepting Reiki. Thus
authorizing a Reiki ritual performance to open the spiritual doorways for Reiki energy
and their spirits and then afterwards serving in gratitude Reiki and his Reiki spirits in
fact, serving false gods.

The practice of spiritualism is dangerous because it is the masquerade of demonic

forces, who sometimes pretend to be departed spirits with the intent of deceiving
through the power of Satan those who are have been foolish enough to believe the
testimony of demons and those who serve demons in preference to the authority of the
Word of God Himself.

The daily Reiki practice of laying on hands while going more and more into levels of
meditation, on oneself or anybody else, opens new spiritual doors allowing Reiki spirits
to have a rightful access to ones life. Permission authority sin more access more
bondage. If a Reiki treatment is given to someone else, then a spiritual doorway is
opened in the life of this (unaware) person who thinks he is healed as if by Jesus
through which the Reiki spirits will have, or be able to get, more access to this persons
life.
People have experienced that Reiki works, heals and reveals many things, but after some
time, it brings trouble to their lives. Sometimes after only two or three years, active
Reikians and Reiki masters become mentally ill with psychoses and so on. Many are
divorced shortly after they start with Reiki, or they become financially broke, or severely
sick, sometimes immediately, and sometimes after 10-15 years of Reiki. Reiki can heal in
the short term, but lead to destruction in the long term. Also people are likely to turn to
other Reiki practitioners which wont really help them.

So, Reiki is sinful, it is using Reiki spirits, fallen angels, it is worshipping false gods and
is in contradiction with Gods Word and therefore is rebellious to God.

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being
king. ((1 Sam 15:23)

Nowadays the traditional Reiki changes constantly, mixing itself with more occult
powers, like witchcraft, and false practices and beliefs . Various gurus have embraced
Reiki adding some of their own teachings to it, in order to sell their seminars in their
name. Reiki is mixing with esoteric white magic in the open, and with black magic in
secret, and at the higher levels moves more and more towards Satanism.

Reiki is deception
The Enemys deception is strong and seductive. In monitoring it closely, one finds a lot
of shallow copies of the work of the Holy Spirit and its manifestations, like healing.
However Reiki is without redemption or salvation and clearly leads one astray from
Jesus Christ and denies the work on the Cross.

An example of this is if Reiki is sent to you from a distance, in the beginning it feels a
little like the Holy Spirit working. But after some time you will have the notion that
something is wrong and you will feel the demonic presence at work, but the Lord will
lead you, protect and shield you.

The main deception of Reiki says that If all good things come from God, and healing is
good, then anything that heals must be godly But Satan heals as well. It has clearly
been proven that Reiki is not of God, nor is it the healing method of Jesus as Reikians
are told when booking a Reiki treatment or seminar.

Reiki becomes a substitute for God and His provisions for man. In the short term it
seems to work. Send Reiki and ask for forgiveness, work, a new home etc. In
combination with other New Age beliefs Reikians will be led deeper into the deception
that with Reiki one can do everything. As one believes in the afterlife, or reincarnation;
I will still know how to connect with Reiki through the Reiki symbols, so I will have
eternal life with Reiki.
It is a blindness to the truth along with love for what positive impact Reiki has had in
their lives. When things go bad, Reiki is never suspected as having anything to do with
it. People become sad or afraid about the thought of being without Reiki in their lives.
They dont see an alternative and are unaware of the fact that only Jesus can save them!

What Reiki teaches The Truth from Gods Word

Guilt, sin, and righteousness because they believe not on me;

the deception or twisting of Gods
goodness, Gods great love which is
turned to I am allowed to do
everything and I am free.
The Reiki spirits path of healing
follows a variety of universalistic
spiritual practices, as New Age and
esoteric. The healing itself is the goal,
a promise of freedom, and mixing
Reiki with other practices will
increase their abilities to heal and
have a positive impact on the world.
Many Reikians really believe they are
on a spiritual path coming closer to
God and have the missing healing
power of Church.
John 16:8-9: And when he is come, he will
reprove the world of sin, and of
righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin,
Isaiah 8:19-20: And when they shall say
unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar
spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that
mutter: should not a people seek unto their
God? for the living to the dead? To the law
and to the testimony: if they speak not
according to this word, it is because there is
no light in them.
1 Peter 1-2: Chosen through the sanctifying
work of the Holy Spirit, for obedience to
Jesus Christ.
2 Thess 2:10: And by the unlimited
seduction to evil and all wicked deception for
those who perishing, because they did not
welcome the Truth but refused to love it that
they might be saved.Acts 4:12: Neither is
there salvation in any other: for there is none
other name under heaven given among men,
whereby we must be saved.

Even the poor can pay for ki energy

and self-centering lessons. Crystal 2 Tim 4:3: The time will come when they
masters, shamans, tarot, aura reading will gather around them a great number of
and transcendentalists attend Reiki teachers to say what their itching ears want to
gatherings. hear.

The sensations of Reiki healing, the
awareness of energy and the
acceptance by others, together with
the mentoring process is more
impressive than much of that found in
many churches, and people are easily
seduced.
2 Thes 2-9 10: The coming is through the
activity and working of Satan and will be
attended by great power and with all sorts of
miracles and signs and delusive marvels
lying wonders. And by the unlimited
seduction to evil and with all wicked
deception for those who are perishing.
Although Reiki comfortably includes
some biblical motifs, Usui found his
revelation devoid of any faith in Gal 1:8: Even if we or an angel from heaven
Christ, after long fasting and should preach a gospel other than the one we
meditations. Reiki is more Hindu and preached to you, let him be eternally
Buddhist than Christian. condemned.
My Reiki masters and teachers had no
interest in listening to the Bible 1 John 4:6: Whoever is not from God does
writers. They read their own not listen to us. This is how we recognise the
universalistic teachers. Spiritual spirit of truth and the spirit of
growth is, after healing, the aim, until falsehood.John 10:11-13: I am the good
one thinks he is enlightened, and/or shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life
like Jesus. Dr. Usui abandoned his for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and
study of the teachings of Jesus in not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are
order to found Reiki. But he was not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the
never recorded to have studied, as he sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them,
claimed, in a Christian university in and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth,
Chicago, nor did he have a genuine because he is an hireling, and careth not for
title of Doctor. the sheep.
The Occult Nature of Reiki
Most people who practice Reiki want to help and heal with Reiki, and dont even know
that they are channelling an occult energy through their hands. They do not understand
they are using occult symbols to send Reiki. They think they are blessing you, but Reiki
is not of Jesus, so it cannot be of God and therefore it must be of the Enemy.

Every time a Reikian lays hands on someone, thus channelling Reiki to a person to heal
and bless them, they are doing this in the name and by the powers of Reiki spirits. Even
if they send Reiki to a person to heal out of compassion, with the right motives in their
heart, still they call upon Reiki demons by signing Reiki symbols and three times calling
their names, so the Reiki power starts flowing to perform the manifestat ions of healing.

After the healing they give the glory to Reiki saying I didnt heal you, Reiki did. Even if
you go to Church, read the Bible, love Jesus but are using Reiki in your life, you are
opened to the work of these spirits and you are just proving that Satan heals too. There
will be many problems in your life and you will be robbed of the fruit of righteousness,
by Reiki, sin, and rebellion. This needs to be renounced and repented of. Leave Reiki,
return to Jesus and to God, and Jesus will set you free and will return to you.

Testimony of a saved ex-Reiki master

If you think that the Holy Spirit uses Reiki or it has something to do with Reiki healing,
may the Lord have mercy on you. Reiki is demoniacal, the way of Satan and the Reiki
master spirit is the phoenix who rises out of the ashes! So every time someone uses
Reiki sending, or initiations, or Reiki treatments, in silence they draw one of the Reiki
symbols and three times call the name of this spirit and the Reiki energy starts flowing.
The pupil and/or patient thinks that they are blessed with healing, telling you this was
the way of Jesus, but actually it is Reiki demons who are called upon to do the work.

This opens spiritual doors for innocent people to receive supernatural experiences and
healing and ask no more questions whether this is really from Jesus. As I did once, they
like what happened, and nobody tells them the spirit names behind Reiki, nor how the
Reiki channels are ritually opened. They just dont know, and often the Reikian may not
have even given the ways and means a second thought because they have experienced
even if only briefly or superficially that Reiki works. They are blinded by Reiki and
deceived through the manifestations of healing and contact with Reiki spirits.

Many ex-Reikians only understand the demonical impact after their deliverance and
true salvation, when the Reiki deception was lifted. They never knew what they were
really doing, nor that the spirit world worked like this and/or healed, until they were
saved and taken out of the deception.

Many people get interested in Reiki after receiving a Reiki treatment and this is offered
in many places nowadays. If you have voluntarily received a Reiki treatment, a doorway
is opened through which Reiki spirits have a free access, because you condoned it. But
have no doubt, Reiki will heal you and although occult, Reiki is powerful and feels good
in the beginning. However the cooperation of spirits and the opened doors will give an
opportunity to form a legion of spirits, who will take care of the growing negative
impact on someones life. Sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly, but this impact will be
there.

In the eyes of the Reikian, all things surface to be healed or to be transformed with
Reiki. Due to the free New Age moral standard of thinking, and the lack of true ethics,
these important life issues are treated lightly and it is thought everything will be blessed
with Reiki good or bad.

Testimony of a Christian cleric visiting a Reiki treatment

I actually received the demon spirit through a massage, opened to it by my own lust,
from a woman who was not yet a Reiki master. The huge surge of energy that I felt
created such a thirst for more that I was willing to sacrifice my marriage, children,
business and home for lasting satisfaction. Through reading scripture and the conviction
of the Holy Spirit, I was saved, even after being deeply involved in the Reiki II degree
with its ability to heal hands on and send Reiki at a distance.

Practice example broadcast by the Dutch Evangelical radio in 2006

Through an old friend I received a phone call, a young woman of 19, who came home
frightened after she had received a present to induce her to go to a beauty parlour in
Holland. The owner who treated her was a second degree Reikian who out of sympathy
for the girl, offered her a little extra Reiki treatment. After this the girl became phobic,
did not dare to leave her house, nor to sleep alone, nor could she go to work. Her frantic
parents called the beautician, who called her Reiki master, etc. They decided to send
more Reiki to heal her and the parents called the house doctor, but she didnt improve at
all. A week after that, the scared young woman and her best friend, who stayed with her
day and night, got through to me on the phone.

She was not a churchgoer, because of her modern upbringing from her inactive Catholic
parents, but she remembered some things about Jesus the Cross..and wept. I told
her that I understood her fear and that she probably had v isions at night, which must
had frightened her a great deal. I told her that this can happen with Reiki and explained
her a bit about Reiki and Jesus.

I asked if I could pray with her, I led her to the Lord, she renounced Reiki and asked for
forgiveness and after a short scream, I heard her cry for joy and she was free, praise
God.

Many people are practicing Reiki these days, mostly for themselves, and in
their innocence and well-meaning they are trying to touch others with Reiki
If you have received a Reiki treatment and you are an active Christian, our advice is to
pray to the Lord, renounce and repent, give and ask for forgiveness, pray that the Lord
will close the opened door of the Enemy.

If there is resistance, during the treatment the Reikian has drawn a Reiki symbol upon
you to intensify the flow of Reiki energy or afterwards the Reikian has sent Reiki to you
as a blessing, find someone to advise you how you can renounce and break the power
symbols and their influence, in the name of Jesus. This means reciting out loud a prayer
of renunciation, asking for forgiveness and deliverance, individually calling out the
name of each and everything you have been involved with in renunciation, and then
casting out any associated demons in the name of Jesus.

Reiki is a deception, but as it is real and does work, and the major spiritual
consequences are not immediately apparent, there are Christians amongst Reikians.
This is mostly because of the supernatural manifestations, healings and new spiritual
teachings, promising modern freedom with spiritual growth. Generally these are new, or
nave, backslid, or inactive Christians, who clearly are lacking the closeness to Jesus
Christ. Or sometimes children who were not treated properly by their Christian parents.
Or from the many Christian Churches or denominations where the beautiful work of the
Holy Spirit and its blessed manifestations, healings, wonders, with Godly peace are not
that common anymore.

We have come across some Christian Reikians, who use Reiki on the higher levels and
mix their religious influences from the past, intellectually combining Bible verses to
justify Reiki. Blinded by religion combined with their pride and supernatural powers,
leading some to act as Bar Jesus.

They are missing the whole point of salvation, the redemption of sin. as the biggest
obtainable blessing for humankind, through Christ Jesus our Lord. They are blinded by
the manifestations, and/or power and glory and enjoy Reiki. Believing esoteric New Age
Reiki masters, who are telling them boldly that Reiki is the rediscovered healing method
of Jesus and showing demonic healings to proof that Reiki supernaturally works.

Even some Churches see nothing wrong with Reiki, as Christians, even ex-nuns and
monks, are starting to use Reiki.

There are many people out there who are looking elsewhere to fulfill the hunger for God
and His promises, longing to be touched by Him, having the desire for more proof of
Him. Reikians who were looking for God in all the wrong places.
After a lot of suffering due to demonic bondage and sin, they come in
repentance and finally home to Gods grace. And finally through much
prayer, then became free, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
A saved woman described being demonically attacked day and night for ten weeks,
straight after a Reiki I weekend seminar: The spirit world is real, but no one not even
the Reiki masters have a clue of what is really going on. Only Jesus Christ can help us! If
you are like me, highly sensitive and take a Reiki I weekend, youre blessed, because you
will know that you are dealing with the devil. If youre not and dont have this
discernment, you could reap years and years of the fruits of the darkness.

If you really knew from where the Reiki power comes and its plans for you, you would,
like me, start praying to Jesus Christ to receive the only TRUE LIGHT. I am going
through a deliverance programme at my evangelical Church right now. I want to be
baptised, and my loved ones are looking amazed to all the changes in my life. God is so
great, otherwise this would have ended differently.

These men and women are happy to receive the privilege of being saved and
to receive His Word. Gratefully they now revere and serve the Lord and
have found a deeper calling in their lives, after they went through
deliverance.
A saved ex-Reiki master writes us; I never could have guessed that it had anything
to do with Reiki, which had always healed and guided me. When I met the Lord Jesus, I
was demonically possessed and only after my full biblical baptism and deliverance, Reiki
and its demons left, praise the Lord. Only then I knew and understood the implications
of Reiki. I was very blessed and am happy to be saved, but why are Christians using
Reiki?
O, my God have mercy, they really dont have a clue
Christians who start with Reiki are often surprised by the power of Reiki and its
influence on their personality, and they confuse it often with the work of the Holy Spirit.
Due to the spiritual esoteric growth that Reiki provides which is v ery similar to the fire-
work of the Holy Spirit, after many years of hard spiritual work and sacrifice, the
dedicated practitioners of Reiki feel transformed, cleansed and holy. But they are
blinded to what God wants, and that our righteousness and purity comes from the work
of Jesus at the Cross, His blood, His victory and our yielding to Him, our acceptance and
our remorse.
Reiki masters show testimonies from Christians who are using Reiki, telling us that
through this supernatural experience they became closer to God and all is well. Why,
you ask? Reiki masters do this to justify the holiness of Reiki and themselves as being
very spiritual, some to a point that they proclaim; be like Jesus and become a Reiki
master. Also to promote Reiki seminars and proclaim the existence of supernatural
healing, which sometimes seems lost in our churches. As you need faith for Reiki as
well, next to the opening rituals before the channelling through of the Reiki energy, they
hope that even Christians will discover the divine healing system of Reiki.

They are totally blinded about the demonic behind Reiki, and would be happy if we
change our Christian ways. The truth is they really dont know what they are doing.

Amongst Reikians you will find all kinds of good loving people who went astray. Most
Reikians are blinded about the finished work on the Cross, the need for the holy blood
and Jesus Christ as the only Way, the Truth and the Life. He has already made the way
and invites us to walk with Him!

It is written that people perish because of lack of knowledge and total deception,
thinking that with their good deeds, with the Reiki energy and reincarnation, they will
do just fine. They believe in supernatural manifestations, healings and spiritual real-life
experiences, only without the true discernment of Gods word, His Will and Jesus Christ
as Saviour from our own sinfulness and Satans lies.

Our advice is to renounce Reiki, repent, repent and repent

Ask the Lord for Mercy. Pray to close all gates of the Enemy. After renouncing, rebuking
and casting out the demons by name where possible, in Jesus name.

Cease practising Reiki, renounce, repent and ask for forgiveness, along with the use of
any yoga, tarot, meditation, visiting clairvoyants, or all other New Age, or spiritist and
occult beliefs and practices, whatever they may be.

Throw away do not give away or sell any and all items you have in your possession
in your home, car, garage, garden or office, to do with any occult beliefs or practices,
such as clothing, accessories, books, pamphlets, or other paraphernalia. Check your
home against an occult cursed objects list, (there is a comprehensive list on this blog).
Having these cursed items in your possession can keep open demonic doorways and give
demons licence rights or legal grounds to torment and harass you, and adversely affect
your finances, your health, your relationships, and anything else in your life or anyone
in your family.

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our
gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled,
neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at
hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there
come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; W ho
opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that
he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye
not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know w hat
withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth
already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then
shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his
mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is
after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all
deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the
love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them

All those practising Reiki and/or any other occult practices or any other forms of
worshipping false gods and this includes anything to do with the New Age for which
please see articles and videos in The Truth about the New Age on this blog need to
be reconciled with the one true God, in the name of Jesus. While we may have our own
ideas about it not doing anyone any harm, God has said that to Him these things are an
abomination and can bring a sentence of death. Certainly thus all forms of demon
worship decreed as such by God Himself in the Bible however good or pure they may
seem (remember demons are deceivers) give licence grounds and legal rights to
demons and can bring money problems, relationship problems, sickness to people and
their families, accidents and even death.

Again, if youre a Christian, active or non-active, put an end to all your connections with
all occult beliefs and practices, including all associations and all objects including any
literature, clothing, jewellery and any form of regalia. Dispose of them (do not sell or
give them away), renounce them and repent for idolatry, and ask the Lord to show you
His Way, and His purpose for your life.

Ask God to draw you nearer to Him, and ask for His Guidance in your life. Surrender to
His Will, and be blessed abundantly, in Jesus name.

Father, I repent and renounce the use of these spirits, Dai-Ko-Myo principal demon
ruler, Hon-Sha-Ze-Sho-Nen contacting spirit, Sei-He-Ki guiding spirit, and Tjoko-
Rei principal spirit, energy spirits, raku, fire-dragon, Bar-Jesus, spirit guides,
legions and personal life-force demons, and the spirit of fear. I command these spirits to
come up and all the way out of me now and go to wherever the Lord sends them, in the
precious name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Father, please forgive me for being used as a Reiki channel. I repent and renounce all
connections to Reiki and command all demonic spirits attached to me, to come up and
come out of me now.

Renunciation prayers only need to be said once, and they do work, often with immediate
effect, as they can be an important part of the repentance that God has called us to.

A Christian once told me that it was only when they were saying a renunciation prayer
for martial arts that it really dawned on them how and why it was wrong, and how

The reason Reiki is included is because this listing warns about many spiritual and alternative
practices that have the potential to destroy practitioners. Engaging in spiritistically oriented occult
power methods and techniques is an unwise thing to do. Many popular Alternative Healing methods
which are being used today employ the following terms, which, considered by many, bring about
healing: "universal healing energies," "energy" work, Chi/chi, Chi kung, qi, Qigong, Ki/ki, Reiki, "the
force," "life energy cultivation," vital energy, prana (i.e., Yoga breathwork, pranayama), Ki/Ti, vital life
force, universal life force, etc.

While many people simply don't know any better about the dangers of the occult, Christians ought to
know better, and they ought to take the time to kindly and lovingly warn others about such practices.
Reiki in particular is a very dangerous occult practice. As such it is derived fro m rei and ki - occult
power!

WHAT IS THE OCCULT?

Before looking at what Reiki is, a basic definition of the word "occult" is in order. This definition is
from the Apple Digital Dictionary (20052009 Apple Inc., Version 2.1.3 (80.4):

REIKI DEFINED

Here is a description of Reiki from the Ankerberg Theological Research Institute. The bracketed and
underlined material is from original source citations by authors John Ankerberg and John Weldon.
Some text, and citation two, are missing from this quote source.

Reiki is an ancient Japanese/Tibetan technique which stresses psychic healing through the
manipulation of alleged universal life energies. The term originates from the Japanese words rei for
universal and ki for vital force or life energy. Reiki was "rediscovered" in Japan by Dr. Mikao Usui in
the mid-1800s. Allegedly, after many years of studying ancient Indian sutras, he discovered a
formula for activating and directing mystical energies. According to an article in the Yoga Journal,
"Reiki can be defined as the art of activating, applying and balancing the universal life force energy
that dwells within every living being, animal, and/or plant."1 [Susan Jacobs, "Reiki: Hands On
Healing", Yoga Journal, May/June, 1984, pp. 40-41.] Although not as popular as a related practice,
Therapeutic Touch, it like the latter, is now practiced in many hospitals.

AIRA has over 10,000 members worldwide and continues to experience steady growth. Among
famous individuals who have taken Reiki include actors Ben Vereen and Eddie Albert, New Age
musician Steven Halpern and opera singer Francesca Howe.3 [I bid., p. 42.]

Reiki treatments consist of a series of three or four sessions lasting about an hour each. The
practitioners hands are held at twelve basic positions, for five minutes each. Although there are
many possible hand positions, a practitioner allows his or her own intuition to guide the placing. Over
problem areas, the holding time is doubled. During a Reiki session, the practitioner supposedly
draws energy and focuses it through his hands, thus providing a link between himself and the
patient. Some Reiki teachers have described this connection as "lighting up."

The technique, proponents say, can be applied to the practitioner himself, to other people, to plants,
or to animals. Reiki practitioners say they can even heal long distance! They do not claim to
diagnose or to possess medical skills. But with practice, they say they can detect energy responses
from the body that often give clues to the site of an organic problem and its seriousness. 4 [Daisaku

"Rei" and "ki" and "vital force" and "life energy"? A "technique"? Healing "at lon g distance"? "Lighting
up"? This sounds more like a practice found in the world of Spiritism. Indeed, it is!!!

Ankerberg and Weldon continue:

However, Reiki is a process designed not only for psychic healing, but for personal spiritual
transformation as well. According to Canadian Reiki Master Rick Bockner, Reiki is more than just
healing therapy; it is actually a way of life: "Reiki in its fullest sense is not a healing therapy as much
as a life path using treatment and attunements as a focus for a whole experience of universal life
energy."5 [Jacobs, "Reiki: Hands On Healing", p. 42.]

Becoming a Reiki Master is much more than meets the eye. Perhaps you know a Christian who
claims to be a Reiki Master. This may be of interest to both you , and them! Ankerberg and Weldon
write:

In order to become a Reiki instructor, one must be initiated by one of the Reiki "Masters." During the
process of learning the technique, the "master" injects psychic energy into the student, allegedly
opening his psychic centers (chakras) and activating his "life force." The process is reminiscent of
Eastern gurus transmission of occult power from guru to disciple (shaktipat diksha). Consider the
following description in The Readers Digest Family Guide to Natural Medicine:

When a Reiki healer is trained, he or she is initiated with a series of attunements. This process
consists of the instructor, or Reiki master, tracing ancient energizing symbols on the persons head,
and then on 12 other places along the body, known in Ayurvedic medicine as chakras.

The therapeutic effect of Reiki is not dependent on how the h ands are held or on the skills of the
Reiki practitioner; what is important is the transfer of energy from one being to another. But there is
general agreement that one must learn this healing art through a Reiki master. In seminars taught by
Reiki Masters, students practice on one another and also learn to project life energy. 6 [Alma

Along with Reiki a large number of topics found at SRN's Potentially Harmful and Dangerous
Spiritual Practices webpage have been known to be very, very dangerous. What is the reason for
these practices being so dangerous? They employ the same occult transference of power that
Ankerberg and Weldon and many others warn about, including occult practitioners themselves.

People should be aware of what happens when someone goes through the alleged "attunement"
initiation process during First Degree Reiki. Ankerberg and Weldon, in their booklet The Facts on
Holisitc Health and New Age Medicine, note something very interesting that occurs during this
"attunement" process.

Ankerberg and Weldon warn:

For example, initiation for the First Degree Reiki includes four specific "attunements." "The
attunements are rather secretive, solemn, short ceremonies during which the master reportedly
activates the universal life force by repeating a series of careful, deliberate, somewhat mysterious
movements."7 [Jacobs, "Reiki: Hands On Healing", p. 41.] Thus, the purpose of the attunements is
to "facilitate the process of opening you up to receiving and then channeling the Reiki energy."8
[Ibid., p. 42.]

In the Second Degree, one progresses into absent healing: "They learn how to do absentee
healings and how to work with deeply rooted emotional and mental disorders." 9 [Ibid., p. 41.]

In "Reiki: The Radiance Technique, The Official Reiki Program" a brochure describing the Reiki
technique, it is evident that Reiki instructors function in a manner indistinguishable from psychic
healers who utilize spirit guides. Reiki is again, described as "the art and science of taping, activating
and directing natural universal energy" and "with this technique, a higher frequency of natural energ y
passes from the hands of the therapist to those whom he touches. . . .Further, once activated, it will
always work when used as instructed and you will have it for life."10 [Barbara Ray, "Reiki Energy,"

If this is not enough cited material to persuade Christians and non -Christians alike from participating

(0.10 seconds, March 2008) produce a listing of many sources that provide documentation on
the serious problems and dangers associated with this so-caled "healing" practice.

If a physical healing does occur through Reiki, let the practitioner and the
client beware. Why beware of such a thing? Because a very sinister trade-off has transpired! Yes a
real physical healing may occur through the practice of Reiki, but so too, a very deeply rooted form
of spiritual deception will take place on a much deeper level - within the individuals very being.

One more quote should be included here for extreme emphasis before proceeding. This is what two
of the most well recognized researchers on the dangers of the occult in the Western world have to
say about the dangers of Reiki. This is from their booklet, The Facts on Holistic Health and New Age
Medicine (2009):

What is Reiki?

Reiki is an ancient Japanese technique which stresses psychic healing through the
manipulation of mystical life-energies. Reiki was rediscovered in Japan by Dr. Mikaousui in

REIKI: A FORM OF OCCULT ENERGY CHANNELING

The following material clearly reveals what Reiki is and what it is rooted in - the world of the

While this summary glorifies Reiki as a simple and safe method of treatment, countless resources
from occult literature shows otherwise.

The following citation is from the 'Reiki' article, by John Ankerberg and John Weldon of the
Ankerberg Theological Research Institute. Again, the original source citations are underlined in
brackets:

According to Olsen [in the Encyclopedia of Alternative Health Care], these Reiki masters th emselves
dont understand how it works. They can only describe it as a linking with the cosmic radiant energy,
an opening of chakras, or an attunement with universal life energy.11 [David and Sharon Sneed,
The Hidden Agenda: A Critical View of Alternative Medical Therapies (Nashville, TN: Nelson, 1991),
p. 169.]

But such terms and the practice itself are only reminiscent of long standing occult and spiritistic
traditions. Practitioners are told to release themselves "to the spiritual influences of the Reik i
energy."12 [Jacobs, "Reiki: Hands On Healing", p. 42.] Reiki energy may also be used "as a key to
help people reach higher consciousness."13 [Ibid., p. 42.]

This science of energy, based on the language of symbols, comes to us from ancient Tibet, having
been rediscovered in the India sutras in the mid-1900 century by Dr. Mikao Usui the technique is not
Japanese, but is related to a number of similar kinds of universal energy sciences from India/Tibet
such as the science of Mandala, of yantras and any science based on mantras.

The complete REIKI system consists of a series of component parts made of universal symbols and
a series of seven degrees or what can be termed "attunement processes." We experience direct
contact with universal energy and its radiant power. A person using the REIKI system is participating
in a "transcendental bridge of universal energy" which interconnects the user with the cosmic
universal matrix directly and conscious. This allows us to heal, to suture our dense energies and to

In essence, Reiki is an occult technique designed to influence and/or manipulate patients through
the use of unadvertised or undiscerned spiritistic energy. Our chapters on channeling, New Age

In Reiki we discover the same problem illustrated in Therapeutic Touch and related forms of
spiritistic/psychic healing. The practice appears innocent and many people assume it "cant hurt."

use it in the hospital to comfort the sick and control pain."15 [Jacobs, "Reiki: Hands On Healing", p.

But as we have demonstrated in The Coming Darkness (Harvest House, 1993) and elsewhere, the
manipulation of occult energies is anything but harmless. It may easily produce serious emotional
and spiritual problems. For this reason alone Reiki should be avoided."

REIKI PHILOSOPHY: ROOTED IN NEW AGE OCCULT "LIFE FORCE ENERGY" PRINCIPLES

The Index of Cults and New Religions notes that New Age/occult practices fall into either one, two,
three or all four of the following categories. Reiki as an occult energy channeling practice is no
exception, it is New Age and occult to the core:

Occult

The term, "occult" comes from the Latin occultus or "hidden."

Generally the word is used of secret or mysterious supernatural powers or magical, religious rituals.
The word "occult" in this publication is used to describe any attempt to gain supernatural power or
knowledge apart from the God of the Bible. Generally it refers to witchcraft, satanism, neo -paganism,
or various forms of Psychic discernment (astrology, seances, palm reading, etc.).

New Age

New Age is a recent and developing belief system in North America encompassing thousands of
autonomous (and sometime contradictory) beliefs, organizations, and events. Generally the New
Age borrows its theology from pantheistic Eastern religions and its practices from 19th century
Western occultism. The term "New Age" is used herein as an umbrella term to describe
organizations which seem to exhibit one or more of the following beliefs: (1) All is one, all reality is
part of the whole; (2) Everything is God and God is everything; (3) Man is God or a part of
God; (4) Man never dies, but continues to live through reincarnation; (5) Man can create his own
reality and/or values through transformed consciousness or altered states of consciousness.

THE ROOT OF REIKI PHILOSOPHY IS AN UNSEEN POWER THAT HAS AN INTELLIGENCE OF

ITS OWN

The International Center for Reiki Training website has a Reiki News Articles page. On this page is
an article titles, Reiki Energy What is it? How does it heal? This article explains the root of Reiki
philosophy. It eerily acknowledges that Reiki involves - unseen power that seems to have
intelligence of its own. I have emphasized in bold and underlined for emphasis what author William
Lee Rand has written in his eye-opening article:

Ki is the non-physical energy that animates all living things. Ki is flowing in everything that is alive
including plants, animals and humans. When a person's Ki is high, they will feel strong, confident,
and ready to enjoy life and take on it's challenges. When it is low, they will feel weak and are more
likely to get sick. We receive Ki from the air we breath, from food, sunshine, and from sleep. It is also
possible to increase our Ki by using breathing exercises and meditation. When a person dies, their
Ki leaves the physical body. Ki is also the Chi of China, the prana of India, the Ti or Ki of the
Hawaiians, and has also been called odic force, orgone, bioplasma and life force.

With the above information in mind Reiki can be defined as a non-physical healing energy made up
of life force energy that is guided by the Higher Intelligence, or spiritually guided life force energy.
This is a functional definition as it closely parallels the experience of those who practice Reiki in
that Reiki energy seems to have an intelligence of its own flowing where it is needed in the
client and creating the healing conditions necessary for the individuals needs. It cannot be
guided by the mind, therefore it is not limited by the experience or ability of the practitioner. Nether
can it be misused as it always creates a healing effect. (It must be kept in mind that Reiki is not the
same as simple life force energy as life force energy by itself can be influenced by the mind and
because of this, can create benefit as well as cause problems including ill health.)

REIKI SPIRITS: UNSEEN ENERGY WITH INTELLIGENCE OF ITS OWN

How many non-visible, non-human, non-physical forms of energy do you know that "seem[s] to have
an intelligence of its [their] own," and can even begin "flow[ing] where it is needed in the client and
creating the healing conditions necessary for the individuals needs"?

It should be noted that God heals by the power of His Holy Spirit, not hidden "Life Force Energy"
found in occult belief systems around the globe. Satan can heal, but only up to a certain point.
Satan's power, masquerading as prana, Ki, Ti, Chi, orgone, the force, and more, is the power behind
Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Wicca, Freemasonry, and many more belief systems that tap into
occult power. None of these so-called identifying terms are in actuality the Holy Spirit of the Bible,
rather they are forms of demonic power being utilized by men and women who are blinded by
Satan's power. These forms of "energy" work, healing, miracles, etc. always lead to further
deception and delusion.

In essence, Reiki is a tool of the occult. It is a form of occult energy channeling - a subtle and
powerful form of energy divination. Like a diviners dowsing rod, a shamans power animal, a fortune-
tellers psychically related intuitive knowledge and a witches wand and spells, Reiki utilizes unseen
power that is real, and very powerful. However, the power behind Reiki is not from God and it can
be deadly.

The problem with this, aside from opening the door to invisible baleful entities (demons), is that when
one subjects himself/herself to a Reiki Master instead of Jesus Christ, the only Mediator between
God and man, occult power comes and upon, in, and through the Reiki Master - and their
undiscerning subject/clients.

REIKI MASTERS: USURPING THE MEDIATORIAL OFFICE OF JESUS CHRIST AS HEALER

The Bible is clear that there is only one Mediator between God and man, the Man Christ Jesus.
Jesus is not a Reiki Master who utilizes occult power technique. He is God in human flesh. Jesus
willingly offered Himself as the perfect Substitutionary atoning sacrifice for mankind. He died for our
sins as a propitiatory offering, shedding His own blood and experiencing separation from God the
Father. Jesus thereby satisfied God's Holy anger and wrath against sin in human flesh. He died the
death we deserve to die, in order that we might live unto God, in Him and through Him - God our
Savior. Jesus was placed in a tomb and rose from the dead three days later. His resurrection from
the dead and the salvation He offers to all, based on His own Person, work, and re surrection power,
is far better than any Reiki work that energy diviners toy with. Jesus and the life and salvation power
that He offers freely are Good News indeed.

Who [God our Savior] will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave
himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. (1 Timothy 2:4-6)

Reiki Master's don't deal with sin, salvation and truth. Rather, they peddle thei r occult wares through
divining Satan's power with their hands, albeit in a very subtle "loving, compassionate and healing
manner". They make merchandise of undiscerning humans for they themselves have been
deceived by the spirits that fuel the lying power of Reiki. Reiki practitioners are involved with spirit
beings that masquerade as "energy". These spirit beings know exactly what they are doing and their
entire purpose is to deceive and destroy humanity. In the name of "Healing", Reiki practitioners and
their subjects/clients are being "unhealed" via spiritistic delusion. They think they are bringing
healing to people when in actuality they are opening people and their families to the world of occult
oppression and demonism. Laughing at a statement like this many do, but the well informed and
those who have escaped demonic power know better.

Oh that God would help us Christians to love these people and tell them the truth, and pray that God
would open their eyes to the truth of what is really going o n. Our prayer ought to be that God
through His majestic grace and love and power would:

"To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God,
that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith
that is in me. [Jesus]." (Acts 26:18)
REIKI DANGERS: A SOBER WARNING FOR ALL WHO ARE INTERESTED

A very strong warning is advised against any and all forms of Reiki practice and any other forms of
what is commonly called energy healing. This includes Christianized forms of heat-transfer
healing through what is commonly referred to as the laying-on-of-hands. This Christianized form of
divination is a one hundred percent reversal of what the biblical practice of laying on of hands is all
about.

In the biblical practice, God heals when He chooses to do so; He is Sovereign! Furthermore, with the
biblical version of laying-on-of-hands, God receives the glory, Jesus Christ is exalted, sound biblical
theology is part of the praying process, and people trust God whether or not God has chosen to heal
someone.

In off-base Christian groups and Cults, the occult-oriented laying on of hands often times produces
manifestations, but they are either psychosomatic in origin, purely de monic, or both. Reiki can and
does often times produce manifesations, but they are clearly not from the God of the Bible. God
never sanctions or endorses occult practices. Rather, He condemns every form of them. His blanket
condemnation of engaging in such practices is clearly revelaed in His Word:

When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to
do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that
maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an
observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar
spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the
Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before
thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God. For these nations, which thou shalt
possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy
God hath not suffered thee so to do. (Deuteronomy 18:9-14)

Here are just some of the many manifestations that have occurred in unbiblical and hyper-
Charismatic churches and so-called revival meetings and crusades. If you are reading this and you
are a Reiki, Yoga or energy work practitioner of any kind, perhaps you have experienced some of
the same things or things similar to these:

Uncontrollable jerking, shaking, crying, laughing, wiggling, squirming, screaming, spontaneous yoga
poses, spasmodic and unnatural movements, heat in hands and body parts, human jack -
hammering/pogo-sticking/jumping, eyes rolling back, sweet and rank odors/emanations, head
shaking/banging/jerking side-to-side and front-to-back, writhing like snakes, spontaneous warrior
poses, speaking and dialoging in gibbering tongues, unable to get up of floor or out of chairs as a
result of soaking/carpet time, "tokin' the Holy Ghost", "drunk on the Spirit", "...more-Jesus-more-
Jesus-more-Jesus-more-Jesus...", spontaneous delusional prophecies, sensual prophetic words,
lusty movements, removal of clothes in church on stage, snorting like pigs, pawing like cats, barking
like dogs, clucking like chickens, eagle poses, altered states of consciousness, vomiting in the spirit,
unable to drive automobiles, unable to walk, unable to crawl, unable to talk, distorted speech,
slurring, being picked up and thrown against walls by unse en forces, God allegedly told Todd
Bentley to kick 'Older Lady' with his 'Biker-Boot', Todd Bentley punched a man in the stomach
people who had stage 4 cancer while Todd he was allegedly under the influence of the anointing,
facial grimaces similar if not exactly like demonic possession, sardonic laughter, screeching, and of
course, falling over and getting slammed on the floor by unseen presence - being 'slain' in the spirit
as they say.

This letter was sent to refute the unholy counterfeit anointing that is occurring in churches around the
world via an occult oriented form of laying-on-of-hands. In the world of the occult it is know
as "transference." Today it is embraced by undiscerning Christians who think it is Christian simply
because it has the name "Christian" tacked onto it. Nothing could be further from the truth! It is a
demonic perversion of the biblical form of prayer for the sick through a simple anointing with oil and
the laying-on-of-hands.

As strange as this may sound, occult power can be unleashed in any setting and environment where
people are tapping into it, even so-called Christian settings. When people get involved with the
world of the occult, even counterfeit and true Christians, serious problems arise.

All who would involve themselves with practices that originate within the realm of New Age, occult,
and spiritistic practices are at risk to be sure. All occult methods have the capability of leading to
serious physical, spiritual and personal bodily harm. I state this because all Reiki practices are
connected to an occult (the hidden things), pantheistic (all-is-God), pan-en-theistic (all-in-God, God-
in-all), monistic (all-is-One) worldview. This is the foundational philosophy behind numerous form of
Eastern spirituality and the World of the Occult.

Many individuals who delve into New Age and occult practices have suffered the consequences of
spiritual oppression, occult bondage, psychological delusion, insanity, irreversible mental and
physical damage, insanity, suicidal tendencies, possession states, moral degradation, sexual
perversion, fatal accidents, and more.
For those who are presently involved in any form of occultism or in any practices founded upon the
principles of the occult, we recommend that you repent of this sin and in complete willful submission
to the Lord Jesus Christ call upon Him to free you from all demonic influences. Occult bondage is
too strong to break free from through any other means...Jesus Christ is the only answer!

The Bible is clear regarding the world of the occult - it is dangerous at best, and will damn the soul at
worst. For those who do not know, energy work, Reiki, channeling, yoga, Kundalini yoga energy,
spiritual Intuitives, etc. are all forms of spiritual channeling or mediumship, to some degree or
another. No matter how the world of the occult is packaged and introduced into Western civilization,
God's view on the subject remains the same - it is an abomination with severe consequences.

As noted previously, the God of the Bible warns about such things. He does so because He loves us
and He does not want us to defile ourselves with occult practices and trafficking with demons. The
following Scripture is noted again to emphasize the point being made here. Far to many C hristians
these days are either forgetting what God has said on the subject, or they are simply rejecting His
Word altogether.

LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet [prophetic of Jesus Christ] from the midst of thee, of
thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken. (Deuteronomy 18:9-15)

Notice the last line here:

But as for you, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so.

This warning from God from approximately 3,400 years ago still stands today!

We issue our warning because we believe, as do many others, that involvement with these
practices, including dabbling in them at beginner levels and the promotion of them to any degree,
has the potential to incur harmful and dangerous influences upon oneself and upon one's ent ire
family - for generations to come.

We believe these dangers arise from trafficking with unseen hostile spirit beings that have the ability
to counterfeit themselves and masquerade as "results" in the lives of Reiki practitioners and their
clients. Making a business out of contacting with the spirit world through an endless array of occult
methodology is no safe trade.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
