Misleading Report on Supplements Creates Consumer Confusion
Consumer Reports, usually a trusted source, released a misleading report in thei
r September issue titled “The 12 Most Dangerous Supplements” Milwaukee WI, August 13, 2010 -- Consumer Reports, usually a trusted source, rel eased a misleading report in their September issue titled “The 12 Most Dangerous S upplements”. Once again the nutritional supplement industry is receiving a false and misleadi ng attack. Among the 12 supplements listed many have been proven beneficial but are also in direct competition with the pharmaceutical industry’s prescription dru g products and revenue. Jeffrey Zindler, Scientific Researcher said. “Unfortunately the news media spends time attacking supplements which are safe and beneficial to the body. They misre present these natural products such as germanium by saying all forms of germaniu m are toxic. This is a blatant lie. While germanium dioxide is toxic, germanium- 132 is naturally found in many foods” Germanium-132 showed up in the Consumer Report September issue. Mr. Zindler stat ed, “Consumer Reports should be able to prove to the public that it has harmful ef fects, but in reality – that is impossible! For the simple reason that Germanium-1 32 is naturally found in Garlic, Ginseng and Aloe Vera, which we all know have m any health benefits and are not toxic to consume. These are only a few of the foods that are loaded with Germanium-132. The German ium-132 produced in this country is also in an organic form, which through exten sive research has shown NO TOXIC SIDE EFFECTS, OR TOXICITY AT ANY AMOUNT INGESTE D!”Dr. Asai, of Japan made it his life’s work of perfecting and finding natural sourc es of Germanium-132”. It was also noted by Mr. Zindler through his research that “The Center for Poison Control has never reported a death from a nutritional supplement in the history of the United States”.The reason he states this is because these reports “confuse the public and are used for justification to ban natural ingredients without scienti fic proof because it benefits the drug companies which cannot patent these subst ances.” Mr. Zindler, further states, that “just because a magazine like Consumer Reports pu blishes this type of article does not mean if provides the whole picture. There is a running underground battle ongoing these days between the natural supplemen t industry and the pharmaceutical industry; so many times you just have to follo w the money and do your own research.” For further information on Germanium seewww.theonlydietyouneed.com, Jeffrey R.
