Basic information for evaluation of measurement

<Recorder - Summary> Tab

Basic table sumarizes avarage, maximal and minimal values of measured quantities.
Cells marked with symbol allows to activate popup menu by right click. Popup
menu contains additional extension views or settings.

Each quantity displayed in basic table marked with symbol is possible to

display in time chart. Place cursor on field, press right mouse button and choose
appropriate item which will be displayed in time chart on Chart tab.
Currents phasors directions or rather angle between U and I.
(suppose voltage phasor lies on positive X axis)
Description of quadrants in connection with the character of consumption:

Let's say that:

We have supplier (energetics company), which deliver energy to consumer
(customer).
We install sensing elements (current transformers or Rogowski coils amos) in
direction, when arrows are orriented by their tips from supplier to consumer.

If consumer consumes pure active energy (theoretically) the direction of

currents phasors will be orriented into half-plane of power consumption exactly on
the X axis. (UxI=0).

Usualy consumer consumes also reactive component of power with inductive

character (fridges motors, fluorescent lamps). The direction of currents phasors will
be in that case in quadrant power consumption reactive consumption. (UxI=0 to -
90). Designation PF=from L0 to L1. Active power P positive and reactive power Q
positive. In energy meter registers EP+ and EQL/P+ are incremented
Bigger customers usualy have compensation of consumed reactive power. If they
blow over the compensation they get into reactive generation sector or rather
reactive power consumption with capacitive character. (UxI=0 to +90). Designation
PF=from C0 to C1. P positive and Q negative. Energy meter registers EP+ and EQC/P+
are incremented

Of course for customers with cogeneration the direction of currents phasors

moves into half-plane of power generation (supply, delivery).
In this half-plane generator can deliver both active and reactive power.
(UxI=+90 a +180). Designation PF=from L-0 to L-1. P negative and Q positive. In
energy meter registers EP- and EQL/P- are incremented

You will see the same picture for normal customer, if you placed the sensing
elements with its currents arrows in direction to supplier.
Asynchronous motor in generator operation deliver active energy, but
consumes reactive energy from network for excitation (UxI= -90 to -180).
Designation PF=from C-0 to C-1. P negative a Q positive. In energy meter registers
EP- and EQC/P- are incremented

! ATTENTION ! Although it is a capacitive character, it is important to realize

the flow direction. This capacitive nature of the supplied power, in fact, in
addition to active component, which is opposite to the voltage, create also
reactive component for the excitation of coils of "asynchronous motor", which
is consistent with the voltage. Therefore, if we want to compensate for this
folder (remove, lower) with correction capacitor batteries, it is necessary to
increase the capacitance value (connect capacitors).

You will see the same picture for normal customer, who has blow over
compensation and if you placed the sensing elements with its currents arrows in
direction to supplier.
